Brad Pitt in Hello! “I am in love… what else can a guy want?”
This week’s Hello! Magazine features the quotes from Brad Pitt at the after party for Inglourious Basterds that ran in The Mirror and which Kaiser reported yesterday: “I am in love and I have the most beautiful family – what else can a guy want? I am the happiest man ever.” It’s not clear whether Pitt said this directly to Hello!, to a bunch of reporters, or whether he was just overheard. Hello! bills the article on their cover as including new quotes from Pitt, but this is all they seem to have that doesn’t come from other sources. (The part that The Mirror also included where Pitt said “My daughter from Africa is beautiful” is not in Hello!)
Hello! also includes a lot of “insider” quotes about how the two are doing fine and are just subject to many false rumors. It’s possible all this filler text is complete speculation on Hello’s part and that they don’t have a source, but I like their take on it no matter who it’s coming from. Brangelina sells more tabloids than any other couple so it makes sense that there are so many fake stories about them.
Brad and Angelina are fine. Brad does not talk to Aniston
“First of all, none of the stories are true,” one of their closest, most trusted friends told me. “Without exaggeration, there’s just not one word of truth to any of them. The rumours involving Brad and Jennifer are good examples of how completely ludicrous it has all become…
“If you actually knew them you’d know how dumb that is,” says the source. “Brad hasn’t talked to Jennifer in years. I mean, truly they have no communication whatsoever, and not because they are angry but because they have just moved on the way divorced people move on.
“But probably the dumbest story of all? That Angie caught Brad with the couple’s nanny and flew into a rage about it. I mean, really! Like Brad would do such a thing. He might not want me to say so, but that was one lie that really p****d him off. It made him sound so empty headed and fool hardly, and that is so not who he is. But this is what happens when they’re not always out there in the public eye. People make up stories about them just to keep them in the news.”
Brad loves being a “house husband”
“Oh, yes, he’s been thriving for the last couple of months,” another friend of his confirmed. “Just getting up in the morning at the crack of dawn, making a big breakfast – which he’s sort of famous for in the family… kissing Angie goodbye as she goes off to work and then being the house husband, taking care of the kids, getting the older ones off to school, busying the younger ones with activities all day, watching cartoons with them… picking up the kids from school, getting them dinner, doing their homework with them, and then welcoming Angie home.
“It’s been a few months of heaven for Brad. He’s had some help, especially with the cooking. Angie’s brother James has also been staying with them off and on. But it’s pretty much all Brad. He’s amazing as a stay-at-home dad.”
People think that they plot to present a happy face to the world, but that isn’t true
While the couple’s show of unity at Cannes may help dispel the nasty rumours, cynics are not yet satisfied. After all, the world’s press was at Cannes. What better place for a pair of actors to fake a happy relationship? But, clearly, anyone who believes such a thing doesn’t really know Brad and Angelina. Or, as one of Brad’s relatives put it to me: “There are people who actually think Brad and Angie sit down over breakfast and say, ‘Okay, here’s the plan: let’s be seen holding hands and kissing in Cannes. Then, people will think we’re happy when, secretly, we’re actually fighting. Yeah, that should do it. That should pull the wool over their eyes!’
“Let me be clear: if they were not happy they would not be together.”

Angelina, Brad and their children are said to be spending the summer at their rented estate in the French countryside, Chateau Miraval. Angelina is supposedly going to try to learn to cook this summer, although that was supposed to happen last summer and not much came of it. They were also said to be looking for a movie to star in together, but “they realized they if both were making a film at the same time, who’d take care of the kids?” One thing is clear, these two are together and they have six children. Anyone in that situation would understandably have some stress no matter how much help and money they have. Brad and Angelina seem to be in it for the long haul, and if they ever break up or even travel separately we can be sure to hear all about it.

Finally a story about these two they about them not separated or his returning to the X. Despite this history is true or not we will never know because with tabloids we never can trust but at least for the 1 time in 5 years ONE of these mags decided change their covered history about them
As usual, tabloids and magazines making stories out of nothing. It’s really no surprise that there’s nothing wrong with their relationship. I love the ‘Brad and Jennifer haven’t talked in years’ quote. I really believe that’s true, and it’s so funny to think of all the made up conversations they’ve apparently been having.

I think it’s more difficult to tell the difference between truth and fiction these days, mostly because the line between the traditional media and tabloid media is blurring.
The tabloids have always been famous for making up stories and exaggerating things that really happened. It’s OK to read them for entertainment, as long as it’s understood that these stories aren’t necessarily true.
The traditional media has become more tabloid-like than in the past, and now routinely reports rumors and stories from unnamed sources.
There’s no way for us as readers to tell what is true and what isn’t. We look for clues in things like red-carpet behavior, etc., but we don’t really know. One website even analyzes body language to try to analyze a couple’s relationship.
I say, since we don’t really know what’s going on, it’s always fun to speculate and discuss the possibilities of the situation. It’s entertaining, that’s what it’s all about. The entertainers are entertaining us even when they’re not on the screen.
This article is just as madeup as the tabloids. I don’t believe the tabloids either and think Brad and Angelina are fine. But there are inconsistancies and false information. I don’t recall Angelina saying she wanted to learn to cook. She seemed content not learning how to. I don’t think either of them said they were trying to find a movie to do together. I think what they have said is they would do it if they just happen to find a script they both like but they aren’t doing an active search. Also they are not spending the summer in France. Brad starts filming Moneyball in June. I don’t know how big his part is but the family will be in California. Brad also said he’s talked to Jennifer occasionally and Jennifer confirmed they barely talk.
Sounds like Brangie got their publicist to talk to Hello. There is no way they only have a cook. you know they have at least a few babysitterss, nannies whatever.

Well, this Hello story is a perfect way to the Brange Brand denies all the tabloid stories. They really care about it. The need to protect their brand. But they cant deny openly.

I think Brad and Jen just put that we talk crap out there. All indications point to the fact that they don’t talk. People who are friends won’t have any problems saying hi to each other at the Oscar’s and you won’t need to have a moral support to be in the same room with the ex they are supposedly friends with. It looks good on paper but in reality it sucks. Just like why would anybody think that Aniston or Brad would ever want to get back together with each other, like seriously.

Oops, there goes Brad Pitt’s interview with Bild about not giving a rat’s a$$ what tabloids write out the window. I believe he was quoted saying “We don’t follow that! We don’t read that! It has nothing to do with truth.”
Which brings me to the question, who is lying, Hello, Bild, Brad or the ‘closest and most trusted friend’?
Who the heck knows if BP and JA communicate. Probably a congratulations card every birth or adoption, or an angry call to have her PR stop leaking stories to Star magazine. What I think they mean is he’s not calling her up drunk crying about what a mistake he made leaving her. Aniston deserves to be seen as her own person, not the EX wife (even though IMO she has played it up to promote her movies). It’s been too long since the divorce, even though many people will never get over it, for her to continue the “wronged” wife tour with any credibility. She’s a big girl with lots of money and a devoted fan base. IMO she’s a very lucky woman who doesn’t need our pity. As for BP/AJ, they seem in love and for the sake of their family I hope they stick together.
I believe that Brad and Jen do talk but not in the way two people really “talk” to each other. I think they say their pleasantries and leave it at that. I think that is classy on both of their parts.

They both have had all the body language lessons and are actors… they can make the press think they are together and pay their sources management etc to follow up with a consistant story to support whatever they want to let everyone know.

Nice of Hello to set the record straight, but was there anyone out there with half a brain who didn’t know that the tabloids were fabricating lies about this couple breaking up to sell their magazines? Check out the tabloids’ bottom line. Their circulation is practically in the toilet. If they have body language experts and are just acting then they should have positive stories written about them not negative. First of all they both say they don’t read the tabloids…lieing…their close so called friend made a reference to a tabloid that Brad was upset about…how can he be upset if he doesn’t know about it. As soon as people are catching on to them not being perfect they go into super mode…pictures with the kids and Brad and Angelina holding hands, smiling…they usually adopt..Boring. We are not stupid people. I am a social worker and Angelina seems metally ill and it is probably hard for Brad to understand her because she tries to hide her struggles. I hope she gets help.

I agree with those who say the haters always believe the negative stories and never believe that they are happy. Also most fans don’t believe every single positive story that comes out. Ironically the haters believe it everytime there are rumors of pregnancy, adoption, weddings, etc. They fill threads with hate-filled comments. Some fans believe them but usually they blow it off as another false rumor.

I don’t think the pic is photoshopped–I’ve seen several pics from Cannes where they were standing that close together–it could be they touched it up (took out shadows, etc.)
But all those quotes from the insider friend? That sounded just as fake as the ‘insider friends’ from In Touch who are quoted about their misery and screaming matches.
My take would be that if they are not directly quoted, or it isn’t said by an acredited source (lawyer, whoever) then I don’t believe it.

Also, there are some diehard Aniston fans who feel that Brad and Angelina don’t deserve to be happy with each other. They ought to be miserable or there is no justice in the universe. So they will grasp at whatever straws they can reach (“body language” experts, reading tea leaves, tarot, crystal ball, etc.) to prove their contention that the J-Ps are on the verge of an imminent split.

Czarina, this photo is photoshopped. They may have been that close together, but not in this photo. They have superimposed his head over hers, and then added shadows/outlines next to his nose and upper lip (where it overlaps her face). In addition, you can see that the light is not hitting their faces from the same direction either.

You’re right, everyone turns into idiots when it comes to these two. Too bad people can’t agree to disagree, or at least acknowledge their bias: “I hate them so this is photoshopped and bullshit and they’re crazy and the split is imminent and he’s running back to Jennypoo” OR “I love them and they are Gods and will be together forever and all the bad stories are wrong and every positive spin is the truth and all hail Brangelina!”
Both camps are idiots. Thank goodness there are usually one or two people in here who DON’T take it so seriously and seem to be able to take it for what it is: entertainment. If the picture was photoshopped what was the point. I have seen dozens of great shots of the couple at Cannes. It was not necessary to make up a picture of them showing affection towards each other. There were lots to choose from. I have seen online post from people WHO WERE THERE.. and their account is the couple looked great and they saw lots of love. So I was not their neither were most of you. So who cares about the cover picture. I have seen the video. It would be nice if people found a new obsession..Leave Brad/Angie alone. I’m sure there has to be another celeb couple as fasinating as they are. If story has made up elements I am still glad to see a postive story among all the lies.

I think Hello like People is Brange-positive but I think they may be playing the same game as the negative tabloids.
A frustration some fans have with Brad and Angie is their refusal to give anything but ABSOLUTE ZERO ENERGY to manufactured stories about them.
I think Hello may be acting out here like an aggrieved fan. In the end it doesn’t matter because The Brange are comfortable and secure and the only people they have to give an accounting to are their family and business concerns. Haters will hate, fans will fight and defend and the tabloids will keep making up stories for as long as people will buy them. So what else is new?

You seem to be someone else as well because I recall that “defend her like your sister” line from some other poster.
Sorry, but I don’t defend her like she’s my sister. Because she’s not. She never will be. She’s not my friend and she’s not someone I will ever personally know…so it’s impossible for me to defend her as though she were. Unless I were mentally ill…in which case I wouldn’t have passed my tests to teach small children.
And again, I am not a fan of either of them. Fans go and see movies, watch television shows or listen to radio programs featuring their favorite stars because their favorite stars are in them or on them. I have never gone to see a film because Jennifer Aniston was in it. Never watched Friends because she was on it (my favorites were Monica and Chandler) and I don’t purposefully seek out her interviews on television (unlike say, Ewan McGregor…who is fabulous).
I must admit that I tend to avoid movies Angelina Jolie is in, mostly because I think she’s a terrible actress with a weird voice and I don’t like submitting myself to torture. But that’s my opinion and I’m entitled to it.
Anywho, by my standards this story probably is nonsense, as they all probably are. Where they got the hogwash from, on the other hand, is questionable. They could have made it up or Brangelina could have orchestrated this whole thing to get people off their backs about the recent break-up rumors (which are probably also nonsense).
And I actually don’t post a comment on every Brad/Angelina post. As a matter of fact, until very very recently (i.e. last week) I refrained from commenting on any post even arbitrarily related to Brangelina. You need to learn to stalk better if you are going to throw around accusations. 🙂

That’s not the same photo actually. Close, but not the same. The cover photo has been tampered with. There is no black outline of Brad’s nose in the one that you’ve referenced. That just doesn’t happen in nature I’m afraid.

There is also on YouTube footage of Angelina palming Brad’s ass as well. I believe the taping isabout 56 seconds long, and at the very end,as she drops her hand from holding his lowe back, she slides her hand down and cups Brad’s ass before she lets her hand drop back to her side.
At the afterparty there is plenty of footage of them kissing, hugging, and playing around with each other having a good time. Like it or not, these two operate quite well as a team. Since they have been together, they have both excelled at and have received recognition for their work as actors and as humanitarians. They share a long term vision and commitment of having and raising a large family TOGETHER. These are the facts. It is what it is. They consistently state in interview that they admire one another and love each other. Those are facts, too. Six kids in five years…fact as well. Love is a beautiful thing.
So… go on and continue to dismiss, discount or discredit what is quite obvious…Brad and Angie living their lives in love and happiness.
Hello Magazine like people magazine is always used by celebs to spin a positive note on their stories. There are so many Brangelina split stories out there and unfortunately, Cannes did nothing to dispel those rumours. Infact many observers could see that all the PDA was contrived and fake.
This story has so many glaring lies- like most Brangelina stories. Angiejo is not staying with the family in NY she is staying at a hotel. Brad cannot be a house father when he admitted he cannot handle all 6 children at a time.
My query is, why did their camps see a need to put out this story? Remember there was another rumour dispelling stories in People magazine not so long ago. I smell something fishy. Sorry but with Pitt drinking like a fish, all can’t be that well in paradise.
Even that ‘I am in love, what more can I want’ was put there by the Pitt camp. All will come out eventually. We don’t have all that long to wait.

my opinion is that brangeloonies are WAY more wacky than Aniston “fans”, but that’s just what I’ve seen on here. Angie fans seem to bow at her feet and see her as the second coming.
what bothers me is that anyone who doesn’t like St. Angie is automatically branded as a “Faniston”. I think that Angie is a mediocre actress, and I DON’T think that she’s the “most beautiful woman in the world”. does that automatically mean that I’m on “team Aniston”? NO, IT DOES NOT. Just this question, if you’re impartial to both, then how come you don’t diss JA even when she clearly needs dismissing? Could it be because you are in fact a JA fan but are too embarrassed to admit it because of her many blunders? Or is it that claiming unprejudice makes it easier for you to step onto a AJ post and give your opinions on nothing without someone calling you from the enemy camp?
See, I’m new to this site and have read about two dozen posts – six or seven of which were about AJ/BP – and both you and Ursula never failed to show up on any of them. How about both of you take a hiatus longer than a week (a year is best) to collect your brain cells, get new material and actually stop with the contradictions?

Hash: Aniston raises people’s ire by acting like a goddamn fool. She launches a four-year pity party and perpetually whines about how everybody done her wrong, but she refuses to take any responsibility for her actions. If her marriage fails, she accepts 2% of the blame and throws the other 98% onto her ex. If her movie tanks, the fault is the producer’s, the director’s, her fellow cast members, the crew members, anyone but hers. And on and on and on.

I too am not impressed by JA’s talents or lack thereof. Moreover, I have on occasion posted about AJ looking stunning or dressing especially well despite finding Brangelina to indeed be famewhores. Then again, aren’t they all?
The point being, you’re not alone. I too am amazed by the anger towards someone as wooden as JA. It seems the loons have one thing right, she certainly made a career out of the triangle. Not so much by acquiring fans out of pity but more so by establishing a lynch mob of enemies. Either way the exchange between posters whether impartial, jenhens or loons is entertaining to say the least.
Bottom line, don’t let those incapable of forming a decent argument, never mind a coherent thought discourage you. I’m just curious.. Why are the tabs not writing stories about the disappearance of Jennifer Aniston. Why no stories about the movie production being stopped because she is “tired”.. Don’t understand. She did what 2 or 4 interviews for Management. Never left the country or the city. So why is she tired again. The tabs keep going to the Brad/Angie break up story because there are people who do nothing but live for the day this relationship ends. Don’t understand but that could be me. They are missing all the other stories. I think the Jennifer Aniston MIA story has more legs then Brad/Angie breaking up.
LOL no mystery there. The great majority of tabloid readers are Aniston fans. If they weren’t, the slag rags wouldn’t be printing so many fake stories of Brad and Angie’s imminent break-up. They’re watching out for their bottom line (which is looking redder and redder these days), and they know their readers would rather read fake stories about JA’s nemesis than read about JA pulling a disappearing act out of mortification because her crappy movie tanked.
Could it be there are few JA stories only about JA because she’s a bore?
Meanwhile, there are numerous AJ/BP stories, usually negative bc people love to hate them & then are those who are simply obsessed, as well as those who just enjoy the exchange between the 2.

Tabloid houses absolutely love Brangelina for the simple fact that, as ironic as it may sound, their survival heavily depends on them. Any news on Brangelina (negative or positive, fabricated or factual) sells. I don’t think they write the negative stories out of spite, but do so because it generates money. Those that worship Brangelina will buy the mags to cry foul, JA fans will buy the magazine to convince themselves that justice does exist and those neutral will buy the magazine to read the forever unfolding Jon/Kate drama. In the end, the magazines wins.
I’m pretty convinced that tabloid houses popped Champaign bottles the day Brad divorced Jen and ran into Angie’s arms – not because they hate Jen, but because there hasn’t been another couple that generated so much hype since the Elizabeth Taylor/Eddie Fischer/Richard Burton drama.

As someone said upthread, the J-Ps are probably doing great, raising their kids, minding their business and experiencing the normal stresses and strains of any parents with a houseful of small children. But happy relationships don’t sell tabloids.

that’s what I don’t get about fans. They think their view of the world is how everyone else should see things too. Very self-centered thinking.
I think Aniston does plenty to raise my ire. She makes really cheese-ball, terrible movies, she’s not that great of an actress who has used the sympathy PR to her advantage, she promotes her family-friendly movies by doing a nude photo spread for a men’s magazine, she loves to flaunt her love life for PR(witness the John Mayer spectacle at the Oscars), and her interviews are so cliche, obviously targeting Oprah’s audience. Plus, I love the fact that she constantly whines about the press talking about her love life (“don’t steal my thunder, motherf*ers,” they have ruined my life), while she constantly talks about her love life to the press. What a hypocrite!
Anyways, she’s not the only celeb who annoys the hell out of me, but she’s up there with the best of them (Brangelina, Heidi and Spencer, and Paris). Only Brangelina/Jen fans

See, mandee, the difference between you and sane people is that we are AWARE that there’s a whole big wide world out there where the VAST MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD are unaware of who HW celebs are.
Why am i telling you this? Because it is the real-life experiences of those people, who helped Angie to get a better grasp of the things in life that are really important. When she got outside off the HW bubble she existed in back in her late teens/early 20s, and saw that the majority of the people of the world lived from paycheck to paycheck or worse – hand to mouth, she realized that she lived a very self-indulgent life and had nothing to be full of angst about. So, according to her, she promised herself that never again would she complain about ANYTHING in life nor would she ever indulge in negative and self-destructive thoughts or actions again.
After she experienced the world outside of HW, she learned to become less self-absorbed and more willing and able to serve the needs of others, which is the greatest calling we have as human beings.
So, sorry to burst your little bubble but no, she’s one of the least insecure human beings on earth. She willingly walks away from relationships that dont serve the needs of both parties (NB: 2 exhusbands she admits to having been really in love with). And dont you know by now? Angie doesnt need to run after men? They come running after her. They desire her and many of them make no secret of it. You ARE aware of that much, arent you? Its kinda like how it is with women all over the world who are beautiful, accomplished, secure, independent, effortlessly sexy and with the added bonus of being very maternal.
I know you wouldnt understand but, there it is.
I am more inclined to believe the story in Hello. I don’t think Brad and Aniston talk else they would have said hello to each other at the Oscars, they sat so close and he totally ignored her, they never said a word to each other. You don’t treat a friend like that. Brad only said they talk so he doesn’t look bad in the press. I also remember Aniston saying not too long ago that she hopes one day she and Brad can be good friends. If they talk, why would she say that.
