Back in the day (like, a month ago), I really liked Chris Pine. He was giving interviews about how he was well-hung, and he was generally charming, funny and handsome. Then something terrible happened. Chris Pine started hooking up with Audrina Patridge. Suddenly all of that charm went away, and all I could see was one of those douchey semi-famous guys who tend to date those girls who are famous for no reason, those interchangeable reality “stars”. Then Chris Pine’s hotness disappeared. Now, when I look at him, all I see is smarmy grossness. According to the National Enquirer, his friends are pretty pissed with all of Pine’s recent changes too. They want him to drop the diva ’tude, fast:

Since becoming an overnight sensation as the new James T. Kirk, he’s dumped his longtime girlfriend, model Beau Garrett, and ditched some of his closest pals, say sources.
Beau if heartbroken, and his friends and fuming, said a pal. “His diva attitude is costing him the people who love him most.”
Chris, 28, is now rumored to be seeing “The Hills” hottie Audrina Patridge.
The two hit it off at the ShoWest Awards in early April in Las Vegas, and on May 2, Audrina was spotted leaving Chris’ LA apartment in the same clothes she had been wearing the night before. They were also spotted together at the Red Lion Tavern in LA the weekend of May 15.
“I don’t think Chris is really serious about Audrina right now – he just like the attention he is receiving for being with her,” said the pal. “He doesn’t realize that kicking Beau and his friends to the curb will hurt him in the long run.”
Chris and 26-year-old Beau have been dating on and off for a while, but had been exclusive for the past year, adds the pal.
“It’s sad because they were so close and talked about a future together.”
“I just hope Chris loses his diva attitude soon, or when his 15 minutes of fame are over, he’ll be friendless.”

Yeah, those quotes from unnamed “pals” seem like they’ve come from Beau, Chris Pine’s alleged girlfriend. It’s weird that they’re still calling Beau his girlfriend, and saying they’re “exclusive” when he’s banging Audrina. Not that Audrina minds, I bet. Of course, I doubt Audrina has any thoughts beyond “my fake boobs are perky, yes?”
Even though I think Chris is acting like a douchebag, his friends are too. Instead of being happy for Chris’s success, they seem to be begrudging Chris even this little sliver of fame. Beau probably thought she could ride Chris’s coattails for some more work, a couple of red carpet appearances with the new hot Hollywood guy for her portfolio. No one looks good in this situation.

I don’t think Chris is hot in any way. I just don’t see it.
Audrina is not hot either, she is a homely girl skinny with tons of makeup, nice clothes,and fake boobs.
I’m underwhelmed by both of them. I can’t imagine Pine has a long career in front of him, even with Star Trek.
He’s so bland. Looks but nothing much else, like a waxwork.
I’ve only seen him in one other movie, “Bottle Shock”, and I thought he was really good in it. But his taste in women does seem suspect if he’s hooking up with Audrina.
I don’t know if he has a diva’tude, but we can be sure he probably now has crabs….
I remember when I saw him in ‘Smoking Aces’ and I thought he had strikingly blue eyes, and was maybe sort of cute (even though he played a complete psychopath dirty looney).
But I didn’t find him attractive in Star Trek at all, and all the photos of him I’ve seen seem to reinforce that “probably a douche” impression I’ve got.
Ceiling eyes is not attractive!!
He is being called “the next Brad Pitt”.. I don’t think so, but it could be just me.. For me there is only one..

I’m so glad to see some people agree with me. Ryan Seacrest was talking about how hot Chris Pine was this morning on his radio show and I didn’t know what he looked like until now, but he looks like an ugly dork. HOT is not a word I would use to describe Chris Pine.

I read he broke up with Beau in March 09. Seems like he does not date any girl for more than a year if you go back and look at photos from his movie premieres over the past few years-it was a new blonde every time. As with anything in the media and celebrities you never know what is true or not. He seems like he is a hard worker and is a guy next door type but new found success can go to a person’s head.
No one else getting a gay vibe? no one? Really?
Why does he have to date any girl for more than a year? He’s hot, young and suddenly successful. What is he supposed to do – go to a strip joint and knock up a hooker like Matt Damon did – or just screw them like George Clooney does? Give me a break.
