Wait, John Cena & Aaron Taylor-Johnson made a movie together?!?

NYC Premiere of The Wall

Here are some photos of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood at last night’s New York premiere of The Wall, a film which stars Aaron and… John Cena?? For real. I’ve known for a while that Cena is really leaning into Dwayne Johnson’s path, as in Cena is really looking to become a major movie star. I honestly don’t have a huge problem with that, because I think Cena has a charismatic on-screen presence and if he “stays in his lane,” why not? I didn’t know anything about this movie, so I watched the trailer and… it doesn’t look bad.

It’s odd to me that they would hire Cena to play the guy who is stuck in the sniper’s firing zone, unable to do much more than talk. As for Aaron… he’s a British guy and I can always tell he’s a British guy doing an American accent (much like Benedict Cumberbatch). But Aaron seems to be doing a decent-enough job here. We’ll see.

As for the premiere, Aaron brought his wife, as I said. Sam is wearing one of the ugliest dresses I’ve ever seen, and I can’t find the ID on this. Is this McQueen? Dolce & Gabbana? She wears a lot of McQueen but this doesn’t look like McQueen to me. It looks like Dolce. Ugh.

Meanwhile, Aaron was recently named the new face of Givenchy’s cologne, Givenchy: Gentleman. Aaron was chosen because “He knows how to dance. He knows how to sing. He’s funny, intense. He has an energy that we like a lot. For me, his personality is a mix of elegance, charisma, generosity and singularity.”

I have to admit, Aaron Taylor Johnson is just getting hotter as he gets older.

      HE IS!

Also IDK but … that dress doesn’t offend-offend me?? You? ( maybe cause Mustard is one of my “colors” per my seasonal colors Friend)

      Yum, is he ever.
Stacey’s right, that bow is dragging it down. And the hideous dragons.
The rest is fine and I like the print.

It’s an ugly dress but at the same time she’s not showing her lady bits, so I guess the whole ensemble is OK

    He is the sex.

The dress is Gucci, so are his shoes.

She started her sexual relationship with him when he was 17. If the genders were reversed, Sam would have been perceived as a child rapist who were molesting some poor 17 year old girl HE had hired.

They wre repulsive. And he is hardly what I would call a gentleman. Who cares if he can dance? So can Chris Brown.

The trailer does look good! I got anxiety watching it which is what I think they were going for.

I love the movie Savages that he was in with Blake Lively. I had no clue he was British until a few days ago. I think his American accent was decent in Savages but I think he had a harder time with this movie. This one sounds like a Southern/Cajun accent which may have been more difficult to achieve.

Aw no pictures of John with Nikki?!?!

I have no idea who Aaron is. Off to google since it seems everyone else knows.
