Star: Sandra Bullock is about to marry her live-in photographer boyfriend

sandrabullockstar
I have to say that I’m really surprised that Sandra Bullock and her boyfriend, Bryan Randall, are still together. That’s no shade on her except for the fact that she seems to have a broken picker. (See: Jesse James.) Do you remember when we first heard about Randall, whom she met when she hired him to photograph her son’s graduation party (some outlets claim it was his fifth birthday)? He seemed like Bullock’s “type” in that he had that slight whiff of dirtbag she seems to like. The tabloids tried to dig up dirt on Randall and there definitely was some in that the guy, then 49, had very recently broken up with a 23 year-old woman before he got serious with Bullock. Randall had been with the young woman for two and a half years at that point, her mom confirmed it on the record to In Touch and said that they all loved her daughter’s ex and had no hard feelings now that he was with Bullock. He also had an arrest record, but it was decades ago and from his early 20s when he got a DUI and wrecked a hotel room. So it just didn’t seem like he was long term material, but he has been in that he’s been with Sandra for over two years now and we’ve heard nothing but positive stories about their relationship.

Star is running a new cover story saying that these two are about to get married, and it could be accurate. (E! just ran a timeline of her romantic history for some reason, as if they were preparing us for this.) Here’s part of Star’s report. They also claim that Sandra and Bryan are planning to adopt a third child together. (Sandra had son Louis, now eight, when they met and was in the process of adopting his sister, Laila, now five, who arrived about six months into their relationship.)

With only a handful of guests, 53-year-old Sandra will make a lifelong promise n the grounds of her Jackson Hole ranch, the couple’s preferred residence for some time now, friends confide to Star. Laila, 5, is expected to serve as flower girl and Louis, 7, will play the role of a most unusual best man, those insiders add, telling Star the lovebirds will say “I do!” beneath and enormous birch tree on her property!

While the couple, who’ve been together for two years, clearly seem to be madly in love, perhaps the greatest reason for their under-the-radar nuptial is Sandra’s yearning for another baby – one who will know who his daddy is right from the start!

“Bryan broached the subject of marriage before, only Sandra fended him off,” an insider reveals. “But once a third child came into the conversation, he was able to wear down her resistance. Bryan loves Sandra’s kids Louis and Laila so much, and his desire to raise another little one with her likely swayed her.”

While Star’s story doesn’t jibe with the cover (they’re not already married, they’re planning it and Star doesn’t claim they’re in the process of adopting a third child, just that they’re talking about it) I could see this happening. If I was Sandra Bullock though I would swear off marriage. Some people find it comforting to make that commitment but personally I would rather not do it again. I guess you do need to think about having the legal ability to make medical and life decisions for someone when you get older though. Plus if they’re married then Randall would have the ability to adopt Sandra’s kids too. I can imagine that he’s close to them like a father. So as I’m writing this I’m softening to the idea. I really like that Sandra is happy too and that things seem good for her. She went through the wringer with Jesse, he’s a horrible excuse for a human being.

Gossip Cop quotes a “source close to the actress” who claims this story is “false.”

    Dated a 23-year-old? Ew.

That being said, I think he’s a good-looking guy who *appears* to treat Sandy well so eh. Good for her, I guess.

  2. Brittney B. says:

They don’t have to be married to make medical decisions for each other, or for him to adopt the kids. Wills and medical paperwork can be drawn up, and look at Brad Pitt. He adopted all three of Angie’s adopted kids long before the wedding.

    • Bettyrose says:

I thought AJ only had one legal adoption before Brad? The other two were joint adoptions?

      • Jessica says:

Angelina adopted Zahara and Pax as a single mother and then Brad adopted them afterwards. Those countries would not allow 2 unmarried people to adopt a child.

      • Bettyrose says:

Thanks for clarification. Sounds like it was more of a formality given the overseas element. CA allows unmarried couples to jointly adopt.

      • cara says:

        @Bettyrose

You are right. Angie had to adopt as a single parent because of adoption laws in different countries. Single men are not allowed to adopt children from many countries due to the fear of sex trafficking.

Well, I hope she knows what she’s doing. Her life.

    • Sabrine says:

This getting married story could be mere sensationalism. The tabloids are nuts this week. I see In Touch is running a photo of Jennifer Aniston on it’s cover, A Baby at 48! So ridiculous.

  4. tracking says:

I could be wrong, but I don’t see her marrying again. She waited a long time for the first one, and seems like the “once burned…” type after what happened with her scumbag ex. Btw, I find the simple “false” publicist response very appealing after all the passive-aggressive expository BS from some other publicists.

  5. CucuLady says:

I don’t understand why people with so much money and overall things to lose would want to get married? Why no just live together? Why make life difficult? He won’t make a better father or a partner just because of some paper. I really do not get it.

  6. commonsense says:

I think they have this whole Sandra- bullock- is- getting- married thing on rotation over at the tabloids, because I swear every couple of months it pops up. It’s just much ado about nothing.

    • Bettyrose says:

ITA. Sandra’s not looking for some princess fairytale and she’s already got a live in hunk. Why complicate things?

      • Jessica says:

It would honestly be the worse career and business decision to marry him. People already think he’s too similar to her ex (I don’t but oh well) so marrying him would just bring more attention and comparison. She’s better off living how she’s living. Nothing wrong with pulling a Kurt and Goldie.

  7. Jessica says:

Really Star Magazine??? I know Radar Online got the adoption thing right but that’s only because a pap caught her taking Laila to the emergency room. This is likely 1000% false. I’ll literally believe it when I see it. Either way Bryan seems fine and I hope he isn’t an attention seeker like the last one.

  8. Lily says:

I’m loving that Katie Holmes picture

  9. Tiffany says:

That way Star wrote that story….I just feel that it is horrible for some reason. Just a layer of isms.

    • Jessica says:

After reading the story again, it sounds so ridiculous and not even true.

“With only a handful of guests, 53-year-old Sandra will make a lifelong promise n the grounds of her Jackson Hole ranch, the couple’s preferred residence for some time now, friends confide to Star.”

Sandra’s kids go to school full-time in LA. Jackson Hole isn’t their preferred residence; she’s hardly there.

  10. Kat says:

She’s so pretty and so self effacing. I hope he treats her right. I want another Miss Congeniality not some Blind Side bullshit.

  11. Mannori says:

Don’t do it! Or at least get a mean prenup.

  12. Alix says:

This story pops up almost as often as the Jen-is-pregnant ones used to. It’s 99% conjecture.

In the middle pic, does it look like Sandra’s had fillers? Her face seems different.

  13. Bridget says:

I don’t know that I would say Sandra has a broken picker. Jesse James wasn’t exactly her normal type to begin with (which clearly went well). And I would be amazed if she got married again.

  14. raincoaster says:

She’s got a track record as an attacher, so I could see this happening. Either way, who doesn’t want Sandra Bullock to be happy?

  15. smee says:

Her stylist makes some good choices for SB.
