Despite the fact that Brad Pitt was in California last week to begin filming the new Stephen Soderbergh film Moneyball, it doesn’t look like Brad had any interest in sticking around for some Californication this week. Yesterday, he was spied visiting the Washington set of Salt, where Angelina was at work. A witness told US Weekly that Brad’s incognito visit with Angelina made it seem like they were having “lots of fun and looked so in love.” US Weekly also took the opportunity to repeat last week’s claim by Angelina’s representative that tabloid reports of Brangelina’s demise are untrue. So much for cold, sexless Angelina, I suppose:

The actor stopped the Washington, DC set of Anglina Jolie’s thriller Salt (out July 2010) Monday. He wasn’t photographed with any of their six kids.
Pitt looked casual in a newsboy cap, sunglasses and white T-shirt.
Jolie is back at work after suffering a minor injury. The actress, who just turned 34, was taken to the hospital late last month after bumping her head on set.
She and Pitt were last spotted together in Cannes in May, where they showed off PDA at the premiere of Pitt’s Inglorious Bastards.
“They had lots of fun and looked so in love,” a witness told Usmagazine.com.
Last Wednesday, Pitt’s rep confirmed to Us tabloid reports the couple was about to announce a breakup were “absolutely not true.”
Added Jolie’s manager to Us: “Not true at all.”

After visiting with his lover for a day, Brad jetted off to Switzerland to go to Art Basel, which is apparently “the world’s premier international art show for Modern and contemporary works.” Brad was checking out works by the American artist Jim Hodges, works entitled “end of knowledge”. I just looked at some of Hodges’ work, and it is really cool. Lots of collages, works on paper. Pretty. Much better than the usual cold, modern, hard-edged pieces that Brad tends to pick out.
Not to get too “oh my God, where are the kids?” but seriously, where are the kids? I suppose they’re with Angelina, in Washington? Will that be the new scandal?

I reason why JA fans hate B/A kids so much is it took B/A to a deeper level than he ever was with the ex. Just makes the haters green with envy. Sad the way they bash their kids.
Just because they’re not photographed with the kids, doesn’t mean the kids aren’t with them. Its like the same old if those two aren’t photographed together, they must be broken up!
Seriously! I love my husband like crazy, but I don’t need to be with him 24/7. And we make time for kids, but we also don’t need to be with them 24/7 either! Mothers/Fathers/Wives/Husbands are all allowed to have individual lives of their own from time to time.
I’m assuming the kids are where they’ve been the entire time AJ was filming Salt since they have the house there right now. So what if they both are making movies? Why are people so against both parents’ working? That’s what nannies/daycare are for regular folk like us. That doesn’t mean we don’t love our children.

WTF are you blathering about? He had all six kids with him the whole time Angie was shooting Salt. That’s the way they worked out parenting responsibilities: when one’s shooting a movie, the other one is home with the kids. If I was home with six kids for three months, I’d need a break too.

Because having more formal education does not necessarily make you either an art buff or give you the ability to judge it well, any more than money does.

Fortunately we live in the US of A and people have a right to bash or compliment, whatever they want. As long as your not threatening the kids of course, like those crazies on US Weekly. What’s the problem with having some time off from the kids? Also, remember an interview with one of them (not sure which) where they admitted that they weren’t super “green” celebrities because of all the travelling they do. When they’re with the kids they fly by private jet (more than likely for security purposes). Most of the time when they’re alone they fly commercial. If they were having problems (which I do believe) I’m glad they’re trying to reconcile for the sake of their family. It’s much harder to walk away from a relationship with children then a childless marriage.
Her face and head are so big. Shame there isn’t surgery for that.

Seriously, if this couple is WITH their kids, people gripe that they just use the kids for publicity. If they AREN’T with the kids, then they obviously are horrible parents and don’t love them.
There’s no sense in any of that. This is the most boring non-story I have ever seen. He went to DC to see his partner and they were photographed out together. Obviously someone was taking care of their kids. Then Brad went to look at some art. Wow. Titillating, dramatic soap opera call CPS NOW kinda stuff there.

Ursula, the visit wasn’t “leaked” to Us Weekly, the paps got pictures of Brad on set and that’s how they knew he was there.
And the quote about “how ‘in love’ they looked” is from the Cannes Festival afterparty, not the visit to the set.
I have to laugh at these “who’s raising the kids” comments. It’s amusing how every other couple can travel and work but the bashers think only Brad and Angelina are neglectful. Nobody has a problem with Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rosdale, Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman working at the same time in different cities. Off of the top of my head Brad has gone on four trips that never lasted more than three days since Angelina started filming. How does 2-3 weeks in a course of 3-1/2 months prove that Brad doesn’t take care of and never sees the kids?
