Halle Berry’s passport is certainly getting some use as of late. Earlier this month, the 51-year-old actress spent some time in India on a spiritual retreat. Then last week she decided to spend the Thanksgiving holiday on the exotic island of Bora Bora. Instead of a gaggle of gal pals, Halle’s traveling companion on this island getaway was her new beau, 35-year-old music producer Alex da Kid.
Halle announced her new coupling in an Instagram post back in September, which came on the heels of an August interview where she told PEOPLE that she was on a dating hiatus, wanting a “minute to be with myself.” Well, I guess that was a minute, huh?
Hey, you (well, maybe just me) can’t blame her for wanting to spend the holidays with someone special, especially in such a romantic locale. The couple shared their vacation snaps via social media and it sure looked like an amazing trip. They seemingly checked off every single item on the ideal tropical vacation list, including swimming, jet-skiing, soaking in some local culture and enjoying some adult beverages by the crystal blue waters. (Yes, I am jealous.) Halle posted an introspective photo, looking out at the ocean, with the caption, “What I call distancing myself from the bulls–t!”
Halle insists she’s “Living my best life,” as she wrote on an Instagram Stories image of her resting by the water. She also expressed the sentiment of the season, posting on Turkey Day, “So thankful for all the dreams I don’t have to close my eyes to see anymore. Happy thanksgiving to you and yours!”
She’s gorgeous, she’s well-traveled and she’s happy. What else do you need? It’s way too early to tell if this Alex thing is just a fun diversion or the seed of a lasting relationship, but it’s great to see her happy. Now, just make a movie to get the taste of Kidnap out of our mouths. That was terrible.

Her latest movies are ll not that good
Every time I she pops up on my Instagram feed I think “hot mess”.
Because nothing says distancing myself from the b.s. like selfies.
I was in bora bora last year – it’s really as gorgeous as the pics.
All her recent pics she has aged. And fast.
What? I guess I need glasses, because I think she looks the same as always: absolutely stunning with a body and a face that don’t age.
If anybody thinks Halle has aged fast needs glasses. Call her what you want but this lady makes 30 year olds envious.

So what’s the problem with her aging? Isn’t that what we all do sooner or later. Is every wrinkle she develops going to be a hot topic of conversation?
No one said there was a problem with aging, we just don’t agree that she is aging fast like the OP said.
I don’t think she’s aged, but long hair just doesn’t suit her. It gets in the way of her beautiful face. Also, she make look less than enthused because she’s just over Hollywood. In many pictures I see of her now, she’s giving a mini smile. She’s no longer doing a full smile or the “sexy stare/squint” that many do.
She and J.Lo have so much in common. Both are the type of women who clearly do not know how to be alone. I think they simply don’t know who they are unless a man is in the picture. Which for women in their forties and fifties is sad.
I was just coming here to say this sounds like Casper/JLo 2.0.
I’m happy for her. Happier for her daughter since she is finally able to keep her father in her life.

I definitely do not agree with the post above that said she has aged recently. For all the drama that she has gone through (created), not one bit of it shows on her face!
