Now that we have that other wedding out of the way, we can focus on the real Wedding of the Year, Paris Hilton’s. Oh right, I mean Paris Hilton and *checks notes* Chris Zylka’s wedding. Paris has not released a wedding date yet but she’s meting out details. Today’s morsel is about her gown. She told People at the Beautycon Festival that she felt Meghan Markle looked incredible at her wedding. In fact, Paris said she thought Meghan looked “like a princess”, which I think was kind of the point, Paris, so well noted. Apparently, Paris loved how natural Meghan looked, including her makeup. That surprised me coming from Paris who, shall we say, does not usually favor the natural look. Her favorite part of Meghan’s ensemble was her 16-foot veil. Paris’ sister Nicky also had a long veil, which almost proved tragic when it got caught under the tire of her Bentley. So I think we can expect Paris’ veil to cover three city blocks. Even though we don’t know when this wedding is going down, we do know that the wedding dress construction has already begun. She won’t say whom she choose to design it. Why? Because too many designers want in on this wedding.
Paris Hilton has been in full-on planning mode since her engagement to Chris Zylka in January.
At the Beautycon Festival in N.Y.C. April, Hilton told PEOPLE the gown she’s having custom-made is “so iconic”
“We looked at a lot of different options because I am friends with so many incredible designers who are so talented,” she said of finding the right person to make it for her. “So it was a really hard choice!”
Hilton will also have a second dress like Meghan (we’ll never forget that slinky, sexy Stella McCartney moment), which is being designed for her by Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott.
“Jeremy Scott and I were talking about the after party look because he has just been my friend since I was a teenager and he would make the perfect after party dress,” Hilton said. “So that is one little hint I’ll give! I’m friends with too many designers. Everyone wants to be a part of [my wedding].”
I think Jeremy Scott, as much as his website drives me batty, is a good choice for the after-party dress. As you know, I am very excited for Paris’ wedding. I’m banking on this thing being so over-the-top it’ll take a 15-age photospread to cover everything. Even so, Paris does not get to foretell that her own dress will be “epic,” that designation still must be assigned. Personally, I’m not a fan of Paris’ fashion so I’m not hopeful that I will actually like the dress. But I do expect it to be full-on pageantry so I’m getting myself a front row seat.
As for all these designers fighting to dress her, maybe. Paris is a good salesperson and whoever does get their finger in this pie will certainly get a lot of press. But loyalty is not why Paris isn’t naming names. I looked back though our archives to see if Nicky was this cagey about her wedding details. No, she merely didn’t release any. I think that is what Paris is trying to do, keep everything under wraps to keep us interested but it’s not working so well because she ends up talking about it all the time. One thing I can guarantee is that however this thing turns out, it will be exactly what Paris wants. And yes, I intentionally omitted the groom from that sentence – he’ll be lucky if he makes it in the photos.

I heard Emilia Wickstead is available.
good one!
Ohhh you bad !
ROFL!!
What the hell kind of shoe is he wearing?
is that a …..belt? on his shoes? in both pictures? WTH am I looking at?!
Also, he has a total doucheface, but is it weird that I find the pic of him adjusting Paris’ dress kind of sweet?
She has the money to pay for it, so I’m sure plenty are interested because of the financial benefit. I’m just curious which of the high end designers consider her on-brand for them.

No one wants a part of this mess and everyone forgets who I am.
Is audigier talking to her from his grave?
Can we all just agree to not make her relevant?
