Khloe Kardashian apologized after using the r-word twice on Instagram Live

🔼 Tell me something good 🔼

A post shared by Khloé (@khloekardashian) on

Khloe Kardashian is back in LA and back to posting incessantly on social media. In the weeks since she’s been back, she’s posted dozens of tweets and a lot of Instagrams. Last Thursday, she was apparently doing an Instagram Live session when this happened:

KhloĂ©, 34, became frustrated while trying to connect her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s smartphone with her own before a morning workout. “Yes, you can, you f–king r–ard,” Kourtney, 39, was heard saying off-camera. As they continued to configure their devices, KhloĂ© responded, “Are you f–king r–rded?”

[From Us Weekly]

People are still saying this sh-t in 2018. Khloe is an ADULT. Not a dumb kid who doesn’t know any better. I mean, 20 years ago, people would throw out the r-word all the time and there was little criticism or pushback. But now we know just how f–king awful it is to use that word. So when Khloe was rightfully criticized about it on Twitter, she apologized:

Why did she even say it
twice, in the space of a minute? God knows. I used to think Khloe was the smart one – compared to her sisters – but I’ve stopped believing that completely. They’re all kind of garbage.

Speaking of lies and how the Kardashians inject bullsh-t straight into their faces and bodies, Khloe also wrote some dumb lies about her nose:

Khloe, 34, responded to several followers who left comments inquiring about her nose on a photo she posted on Friday, July 20, that showed her in profile.

“Did she really get her nose done or just really fleeky contouring,” one wrote. “One day I think I’ll get one because I think about it every day,” the Revenge Body host confessed in response. “But I’m scared so for now it’s all about contour.”

Kardashian also revealed that her nose has changed shape since having 3-month-old baby True. In response to another comment about whether she had gone under the knife or just had good contouring, she wrote, “Great contouring! We do go overboard but my nose spread during pregnancy so I’m just waiting for it to go back lol.”

[From Us Weekly]

LOL, yes, pregnancy is famous for making women’s noses SMALLER and more pert and upturned. Pregnancy is famous for making women’s noses look notably smaller for years BEFORE women even get pregnant. GMAFB. Why even lie about this sh-t? Khloe’s everything is fake at this point, from her Pinocchio Butt to her implants to her lips to her nose to whatever is happening with her chin right now.

Only slightly OT, but it weirds me out how much she reminds me of those deluxe realistic sex dolls out there. She has turned herself into something a little too artificial looking.

    • Amelie says:

Same. It really disturbed me when I saw the pics of when she went to Iceland (where she got a lot of criticism for traveling when 8 months pregnant). I wasn’t sure if it was pregnancy or if it was lip fillers but her lips were even worse than Kylie’s. She looked horrifying.

    • whatWHAT? says:

to a certain extent, but let’s not forget that that top pic is NOT what she actually looks like.

her body is not that petite, nor is her face that thin/long. she’s more like the blow up doll that’s on sale because it’s “irregular”.

    • Stubbylove says:

Used to like Khloe the most, now she’s the biggest phony of them all. Complete blowup doll with that f’ing look on her face. Along with using the r-word that the constant stupid look – just want to bitch-slap her at this point.

      • minx says:

She’s an empty shell. There’s nothing there.

      • TandemBikeEscapee says:

When they came on television was during my sedentary breast feeding years, I’d channel surf or whatever…the Kardshians had loooong stretches of tv. I can’t unhear those horrific voices. Media right now is an iron maiden.

      • Char says:

@Stubbylove Same here. Khloe was funny, always ready to help her sisters and she was the most beautiful. When she started losing weight, she turned into a vulgar bully, always screaming, cursing and saying “shocking” things to look rad and cool.

    • petee says:

Char from day one she was a bully. Her and Kourtney use to gang up on Kim.As much as I dislike her they should be kissing her feet because she made them famous or infamous.I never thought Khloe would follow in her footsteps but she has had a ton of work done.I think even more. Her mouth look’s like it’s melting.I watched the show the first year but that was it.I can’t believe how it is a part of pop culture now.I use to love the E! Channel. They might as well be called the K Channel. If I am at someone’s house and they put it on I get up and leave.I can’t believe anyone watches this garbage.

  2. Neelyo says:

Of course a Kardashian would use that word. No shock there.

    • Heather says:

But it was said from a place of love, so it’s gotta be okay.

    • TandemBikeEscapee says:

I worked in an r word Retail for many years w many millennial and they revived the r word Kloe used in her live feed. It became an unconscious habit to use the word, I’m ashamed to say. Also the “gay” this and gay that was used as derogatory. Ugh.

  3. Astrid says:

I can’t un see the eyebrows!

  4. Veronica S. says:

Honestly…I’ll give her credit that she actually acknowledged it as problematic and stated that she needed to do better. Very minor credit. Like, a C- is all I think any of these people deserve.

I don’t get the tiptoeing around plastic surgery, either. Like, your family is famous for it now. Why not just own it? Especially because this one radically changed her face.

  5. Gabby says:

This isn’t defending Khloe but the original article said Kourtney first said the word offscreen and then Khloe said it. Their names all blur together for me too though.

    • Amy Too says:

I was going to say the same thing. And I wonder if Khloe said it bc Kourtney said it first? Maybe it’s really not something she normally says, but she was just parroting Kourtney. That seems unlikely, but she does claim that she doesn’t normally use the word.

  6. Esmom says:

Someone who uses the word so reflexively clearly uses it a lot, was likely brought up hearing it and saying it all the time. So I’d venture to say she doesn’t hate it, she just hates being called out on it. Maybe she will do better next time.

    • HelloSunshine says:

Agreed. She’s only apologizing because she was caught saying it. She used that word very freely, it’s obvious she uses it in everyday conversation.

I’ve worked in middle school and kids don’t use that word and will call people out If they use it. Obviously that might not be the case everywhere but where I’m at, using the r word isn’t a thing. Even obnoxious middle schoolers are woke enough to not use it

  7. Lightpurple says:

Picture on steps looks like someone went to a surgeon and said: “Give me the Ivanka face.”

We have “go to” words when upset or frustrated with the quirks of technology. My go to word is “F**K!” Hers is the R word. She should be ashamed.

  8. boredblond says:

She has been on camera since she was ..what..in her teens? She does realize that her many faces/bodies can be easily viewed, right?..the pregnancy->smaller nose theory really made me laugh though..

  9. Gabby says:

I’ve made a practice of immediately telling people they shouldn’t say that word when they say it IRL and the response has been positive each time. A lot of people are used to saying it and don’t think anything of it / mean anything malicious by it much of the time, so I just approach it as an educational, non-blaming moment and let them know that the word is hurtful to people like me who have a loved one who’s mentally handicapped, and their response has been consistently receptive, so I think/hope it helps them work towards banning that word from their lexicon.

  10. Amelie says:

I used to use that word a lot I want to say in middle-high school. Everyone was saying it then (this was approximately 2000-2006), my classmates, my friends, and I can’t be 100% sure but maybe even my family. Doesn’t make it okay obviously but it was a more ignorant time. This was back when “That’s so gay” was still acceptable to say (something I never said and was always very offended by). I can’t remember when I stopped saying it or when I became aware it was not okay to say but it was phased out of my vocabulary without me even realizing it. It’s been years since I’ve said it and I’ve seen plenty of articles explaining why it isn’t okay. I didn’t even realize people still used it.

    • Veronica S. says:

Yeah, it definitely had a “moment” as an insult in the late 90s/early 2000s, unfortunately. I grew up hearing the word constantly in middle and high school, and I was guilty of it myself. The 2000s were when you started to see more of a movement toward social awareness regarding semantics, and it became increasingly frowned upon to use it. I know I dropped it a few times by accident in my twenties when I was really angry, but I’ve managed to mostly excise it from my vocabulary outside of proper verb usage in writing.

    • VirgiliaCoriolanus says:

Oh trust. Obnoxious little 12 year old assholes use it still. They think they are hilarious.

  11. Patricia says:

I was born in 1983. Growing up I used the R word just about every day until I was about 17 years old. It was THE kids insult of the 90s.
I am a very aware person. I am very careful in my speech and always listen to others about what is not acceptable. But there have been times when my mind just goes there… it was so overused a few decades ago that it’s deeply ingrained in some of our 80s babies’ brains.
That does NOT make it alright. But younger people might not realize how prevelant it was for people our age.

I was among the first to tell others to stop using it, as I have a cousin who is intellectually disabled and as she grew up I started to realize how hurtful that word was at a young age. And STILL I have found myself on the verge of using it with my sisters or husband when they are being annoying.

But if I did use it I would hope to be called out, as KhloĂ© was. Just because everyone used it so much doesn’t make it OK.

  12. me says:

Kourtney who is almost 40 f*cking years old said the “r” word first, and then Khloe said it. They both are gross and probably use the word a lot. How else would it so easily slip out of their mouths? I never use that word, ever…and it would never “accidentally” slip out of my mouth.

  13. BaBaDook says:

Wait. Can your nose widen during pregnancy?! Are there other things like that I should know about??

    • Veronica S. says:

Estrogen can increase blood flow in certain areas and cause swelling in the region around the nose, “plumping” it up. (Edema in the feet can also increase shoe size.) In some cases, the change can be permanent, but a lot of women see a return to normal in the year or so following. Although honestly, in most cases the change is relatively minor and mainly negligible to most onlookers.

    • Nicegirl says:

LOL, Babadook, basically EVERYTHING widens during pregnancy.

      For most of us. đŸ€ŠđŸœâ€â™€ïž

  14. Jordan says:

She’s always used the word retard to insult her sisters since season one.

She’s definitely had at least one. But the unfiltered picture with Kim and KhloĂ© (holding the babies) it’s not shopped or heavily contoured like the pictures here. Her nose is very different in that one. I think she shops it to make it smaller and does use a lot of makeup to hide it but I don’t think she’s gotten the amount of nose surgeries the way Kim has.

  15. K says:

“Speaking of lies and how the Kardashians inject bullsh-t straight into their faces and bodies, Khloe also wrote some dumb lies about her nose:”

Yes ok but same double standard applies using the word “dumb” which understand is commonly used in the USA to mean “stupid” but is originally a disability meaning speech impaired…

  16. Reese says:

Ugly people on the inside say things like this. Horrible person using the same tactics as Trump does to recover from bad behaviour. Words that come these easily to somebody is a person who uses these words all time. It’s a part of her vocabulary.
When is their time up? I’m so done with her.

  17. Tashiro says:

She looks so fake but then the whole family looks fake.

  18. Annie says:

If you have ever seen Khloe in person not only does she have surgeries but you can tell she facetunes the hell out of her face for the gram. She does not look like her Instagram pictures. It’s not just contouring. She’s also still pretty big. The weight loss is not what she wants her fans to believe it is. She’s still pretty thick. That tiny waist on the gram pre baby is not real. Her face hasn’t really changed that much. It’s all photoshopped. Surgeries have not left her satisfied.

Out of all of them she’s the most dishonest about her appearance. You can see it on the show. She looks nothing like her Instagram pics. But in person the difference is huge. Which I find so stupid. Just accept yourself.

  19. Ash says:

Is anyone else confused on her body? I know I know. They lie lie lie. But for someone who’s in “beast” mode at the gym 2x a day, she has like zero muscle tone! Like none? Am I the only one seeing this? And ugh. Lately all I’ve heard from her is “I wanna cut my hair but need to lose weight”, “I wanna nose job but I’m scared”, “I’ve lost 33 lbs”, “it’s just contouring”. Is that all this woman thinks and talks abt ever? I’m a girly girl most of the time and love my clothes and products but omg but I need so much more to fulfil me! What about how great it is being a mom? How grateful she is to be where she is today? I mean something !
