America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum was spotted twice this week wearing a massive ring on THAT finger. The 45-year-old model has been dating Tokio Hotel guitarist (and fellow German) Tom Kaulitz, 28, since February and has already referred to him as the love of her life. Heidi was grilled by Ellen DeGeneres last week on her show about her relationship status. When Ellen asked if she and Tom were “secretly married” or engaged, Heidi said they weren’t “secretly anything.”
Flash forward to Monday night, when Heidi was spotted sporting a huge diamond ring on her left hand at the Emmy Awards. The same ring was on display when Heidi appeared on the Tuesday finals of AGT. According to Heidi, the ring had nothing to do with love but everything to do with FASHION!
When asked by People Magazine if the ring was of the engagement variety, she replied, “I don’t know why everyone keeps saying that. Everyone is asking me.” She went on to explain, “When you do what I do, you wear a lot of fashion. A lot of jewelry. I always look for something that goes with the outfit. So, I wear big rings.” Like many actresses’ red carpet jewelry, the ring was a loaner and Heidi said, “Tomorrow I have to give it back. Sad.”
The ring may have been temporary, but her love for Tom, isn’t. She told People:
“He is the kindest, sweetest, most caring, loving person. I feel so lucky. I don’t know the last time I was this happy in my life. He is absolutely wonderful. Maybe it is because he is German and we understand each other in a different way. But so far so good.”
So, I guess now we wait to see if the ring really was a rental, or if another soon takes its place on that finger, hmm? I kind of believe Heidi that they aren’t “secretly anything” yet. It’s only been a few months and they don’t seem to be in a rush. They do make a cute couple though and I hope it works out for them. #TeamKlumlitz

I’m not often a fan of the way Heidi dresses but she looked gorgeous at the Emmys. The dress, the jewelry, the sideswept hair…wowza.
Yes, I agree it’s the best she’s looked in a very long time. Thank goodness she toned down the orange tan she had going for a while.
I’ll always have a bit of a soft spot for Heidi because of Project Runway but I’m not sure I’m keen on her romantic choices. I hope she’s happy but I often feel like she’s desperate not to be alone.
I swear I still can’t believe Tom ended up dating her!! I was a huge TH fan back in my teens, and I mean HUGE. He was my favorite twin, and had built a ladies man rep for himself (but mostly he just joked about it all the time). He seems to have done some growing up now, so good for him. I don’t know if they’ll last, but Heidi seems happy, and so does he.

I watched a (German) interview with Tom and his twin brother recently and I was surprised how likable he is ( both twins are, actually). I like him and Heidi together.
An engagement ring is not a german thing anyway. And I don’t think she is one to keep something like that secret.
