Here are photos of some of the other royal family members not named Meghan or Kate. The QUEEN attended her granddaughter’s wedding, because of course she did. According to Prince Andrew, the Queen basically just told Eugenie that her wedding would be in Windsor, full-stop. The surprise was not the Queen’s attendance, it was that Prince Philip came along too. We didn’t get confirmation of Philip’s attendance until this morning, basically, that’s how unsure everyone was about it. Philip absolutely loathes Sarah Ferguson, and in what was one of the weirdest seating charts in recent memory, Philip ended up seated very close to Fergie. It was… not great. But I think he just flat-out ignored her. I don’t even think he looked at her.
The Queen wore Angela Kelly, a pale grey-blue coat and matching dress, plus she accessorized with a gorgeous brooch. The Countess of Wessex wore Azzedine Alaia. I don’t know who designed Princess Anne’s emerald green ensemble, but she stood out – especially because she arrived before Sarah Ferguson, who wore a similar color. Prince Charles was there, but the Duchess of Cornwall was not, and the ITV commentators were stirring the conspiracy pot about it, which… I believe. I believe that there’s a gossip reason for why Camilla skipped out.

SamC….totally agree. P Anne doesn’t give a flying f*ck about fashion, never has. And good for her. One thing i’ll say for her is she always looks very fit and not the kind of fit from exercise classes etc. but from living an active life.
With that green beanie hat, she looks like some fairy tale woodland fairy, but alas, not in a good way. Or Jack in the Beanstalk hat.

I love the Queen’s hat SO MUCH, and she always looks impeccable, but someone really needs to talk her into a slightly lighter foundation color.
Anastasia…agree about QEII’s foundation. She is very fair and it can be tough to find a truly fair, neutral foundation that doesn’t oxidize & turn pinky/orange. You’d think she’d have the resources to find one though. I think though, like P. Anne, looks aren’t her #1 priority. She probably has an old fashioned powder compact. My mom has very fair skin and it’s tough getting her a light enough foundation that doesn’t look too pink or orange.

Re: Camilla, Sarah Fergusson made it very clear that she was going to go out of her way to honor Diana at this wedding. After my reading that, I understood why Duchess of Cornwall was skipping this event, it was her way to flipping the Yorks the bird. So the gossip about Prince Phillip was right, he just woke up and felt like going so he went to Euge’s wedding, damn!! The Windors have the best drama in the entire world.

She was their aunt. Perhaps they were very close to Diana before she died? Dunno….just a guess.
You’d think Fergie, who salivates at the idea of getting back I to The Family would go out of her way to NOT step on toes. But then, that’s our Fergie! (Cue studio audience canned laugh track here).
I was having a hard time doubting Philip would show up to the wedding. I know he hates Fergie, and I do believe the stories that Fergie could possibly come back into the RF after he’s dead, but I never believed he was going to skip his granddaughter’s wedding because of her.
All reports say Phillip was a stern and hard father to his children while they grew. I wonder if he was the same with his grandchildren, or was he a kinder, gentler grandfather? Neither him nor the queen appear particularly affectionate to most of the people that cross their path. I do remember the picture of the queen sitting on a couch next to Ann. It was an informal picture and you could see the closeness between the two of them, but I think that’s about the only time.
Am surprised she would as I know they were friends but I don’t think they were on speaking terms when Diana died considering that Diana threw Fergie under the bus during her media war with Charles.
I’ve read on other sites that Cams and Andrew don’t really get along and that’s why she didn’t want to go.
I read that, too. And that Cam “harbors a grudge” that Andy, who had Mummy’s ear, didn’t “speak up” in her and Charles’ favor in the beginning, when she wasn’t accepted yet.
That’s the charm of Fergie and why I’ve always liked her. Despite how Diana ended up treating her, Fergie never stopped caring about and loving Diana. And she was absolutely a big part of Diana and Charles’ split as Fergie and Di were confidants of each other until Fergie was forced to split from Andrew.
Camilla is a cow and It was nice to not have to see her at a royal family event for once. More Fergie! And Phillip!

I’m glad he came, even if he ignored her. Shows at least a little maturity to say, you know what, today isn’t about us. Camilla? That’s a different story, although I believe some drama is involved. Princess Anne looks amazing.
Is it just me or did the Queen look a little more bent over and frail today? I know she’s rather old but I just adore her! Anything that shows her age more makes me sad.
As soon as Philip took his seat behind Fergie, I thought that he was in the perfect range to throw spit balls at her lol. I was hoping for an all out knuckles out fist fight between the two, right in the aisle, and I’m sad that didn’t happen. D:

I kinda don’t get the hate for Fergie. What she did was embarrassing and overall sketchy. However, Andrew is a pedoohile and “friends” with some super sketchy men. He even invited his arms dealer friend to the wedding. In my mind this is a million times worse than anything Fergie has done
