Emily Vancamp and Josh Bowman from Revenge got married after 7 years together

I only watched the first couple episodes of Revenge, which aired on ABC for four seasons, from 2011 to 2015. It didn’t pull me in for some reason but it was wildly popular. Emily Vancamp and Josh Bowman have been together since the show started, they played a couple on Revenge and even got married on the show, and now they’re married for real. They got married Saturday in the Bahamas. I want to go to a tropical wedding now. We just saw Malin Akerman’s wedding in Mexico which looked like so much fun! Maybe I’ll just go to the tanning booth for 10 minutes and imagine. Anyway unfortunately there aren’t any photos of the actual wedding, but we have some details along with pictures of their pretend on screen wedding.

Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman, who played couple Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson on the ABC primetime soap a few years ago, got married for real this Saturday in the Bahamas, in front of family and friends, according to People and Us Weekly.

The 32-year-old Canadian actress and 30-year-old British actor have been together for more than seven years and got engaged in May 2017…

In 2014, VanCamp spoke with Elle Canada about her relationship with Bowman, which has been largely private.

“I barely talk about him in interviews, to be honest. It’s just really funny in the moments when we’re playing these absolutely absurd things. I call him ‘wife-beater Daniel,'” she joked. “It’s hard for my family to watch—it’s also hard for them to see me in that light. But we’re actors. None of that lives in any of us. Thank God!”

She also talked about her desire to start a family.

“How excited I am to have children!” she said. “I find myself dreaming about it all the time.”

[From E! Online]

Judging from what Emily has said about keeping her private life to herself, and the fact that her Instagram is kind of vague, I guess she’s just not the demonstrative type. That’s her prerogative, and I find it sweet that these two got married married after seven years together and over a year and a half engagement. I know some people want to make it official right away and feel like they know, but I like hearing about these longer engagements that end up in happy marriages. Anyway congratulations to Emily and Josh! I want to see their real wedding photos now.

Update: Here are photos from their wedding!

I have always loved her since Everwood and watch anything she’s in regardless of how bad it is. Revenge was really bad. Currently she’s in The Resident with Rory Gilmore’s ex, Logan.

    • Kath says:

I so love when I find fellow Everwood fans! Loved that show, it was so underrated…

    • Amelie says:

Another honk for Everwood! Back when nobody had even heard of Chris Pratt haha (he played Emily’s brother on the show!).

    • Harryg says:

Someone here recommended (thanks!) a movie The Girl in the Book (Netflix) – it’s a very good movie.

    • terra says:

My best friend asked for and received several Everwood box sets back in high school. He will still throw down for the show even now that we’re in our thirties.

I watched episodes sometimes, but I never stanned it like he did. Every Everwood fan I’ve ever met is incredibly loyal. Maybe I should try again.

So happy for these two. They seem very much in love in a very sweet, low-key kind of way. There’s some photos from their real wedding up now on Instagram, for anyone who is interested.

    • Celebitchy says:

OK I’ll update with that thanks!

    • sunny says:

I really love them together. They are very low key but the rare times they are photographed together they often seem very happy together.

I wish them all the best! Also, they are an insanely beautiful couple- that picture of them leaving the church is gorgeous!

      • xdanix says:

Totally agree with you! I loved the first season of Revenge, but it kind of lost me after that. I was always so happy to know they were still together though, and from the rare times she posts about their activities on Instagram they seem really great together. They look so in love, which is always lovely, but they also just look like they really have fun and ENJOY each other. So nice to see. And yes- they are both incredibly pretty people haha! Lucky future kids with those genes!

  3. Peanutbuttr says:

Revenge was good when it was still following the Count of Monte Cristo roadmap but got ridiculous after season 1.

Emily is also in the Marvel movies.

    • Esmom says:

Yeah, I liked season 1 and only made it a little bit into season 2 before I lost interest.

They are a lovely couple, wishing them happiness.

    • tealily says:

Yeah, I watched the first couple of seasons, but it just wore me out. Season 1 was excellent though!

I really love her. I had no idea they were a couple in real life. Good for them!

  4. Smalltowngirl says:

I love Emily and am so happy for her. I really liked the early seasons of Revenge and actually rooted for Daniel and Emily, at least they were a couple in real life.

  5. Esmom says:

Tropical weddings are indeed something to daydream about. I’ve been to one, in Mexico, which was five days of fun and relaxation. Too bad the marriage didn’t last very long.

I’d take any kind of tropical getaway, wedding or not, at this time of year. It’s been more than a decade since I went somewhere warm during the winter and I miss that feeling! Stepping into steamy tropical air a few hours after leaving somewhere cold is amazing.

  6. Case says:

I was so happy to see this — didn’t realize they were still together! They’re a really cute couple.

  7. Penguin says:

So happy for her! I love her. Watch her show Brothers & Sisters probably like once a year and just have always loved her character Rebecca (and well I love everyone in that show)

    • Teresa says:

I love love love Brothers & Sisters! It was so well cast – the dynamics between actors was amazing!

      • xdanix says:

Couldn’t agree more with you guys! That show was FANTASTIC, still is. Maybe the best depiction of a family on tv that I can think of. Some great storylines, and all of them fabulous actors. And they really did FEEL like a family. I kind of think it was the “This is Us” of its time (without the skipping from generation to generation, obviously), but better.

  8. DesertReal says:

I loved the trashy ridiculousness that was seasons 1 and 2 of Revenge, so I’m all for these two crazy kids tying the knot in real life.
    Mazel tov!
