Alec Baldwin is currently a father to about a million babies. No, he and Hilaria Thomas-Baldwin have four children under the age of six: Carmen Gabriela, 5½, Romeo Alejandro David, 10 months, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 2½, and Rafael Thomas, 3½. Alec Baldwin is 60 years old. Hilaria is 35 years old. I’ve always thought it was somewhat irresponsible to have so many babies at Alec’s age. Like, I understood why Hilaria would want to cement her position as the new Mrs. Baldwin with a baby or two. But four babies in quick succession still seems like a giant mess. And of course Hilaria wants to have more! Their youngest isn’t even one year old, and you know she’s probably trying to get pregnant again. But I guess Alec is finally through, or at least that’s what he told People:
On his kids & who they prefer: “My wife is the star. My kids, they love me, they think I’m great, and as soon as my wife walks in, they’re like, ‘Okay, bye’ and they’re gone… I feel terrible, I feel sad. It’s lonely as soon as my wife walks in….My wife is the casualty there because no matter how much help we have — and we both have to go to work, so we have some help — they only want their mother. What I always say is I’m doing really well with the kids until my wife comes home and then I’m invisible.”
Whether they’ll have another child: “Oh yeah, she’s up for the challenge. I’m the one who’s not up for the challenge.” So what is the actor’s hesitation? “When my kids graduate school, I’ll be 85. As my friends say, when your kids are climbing out the window and they’re going to do really, really bad things when they get older, when they’re in their late teen years, you’ll be deaf anyway so you won’t have to hear it. Let’s see what happens.”
“…Because no matter how much help we have — and we both have to go to work, so we have some help — they only want their mother…” Alec has gotten “in trouble” for talking about the help they have, and that trouble came from Hilaria. Hilaria seems to want to have the Instagram-perfect family and the Instagram-perfect (thirsty) yoga moves and I guess the four nannies don’t fit with that image. Anyway, as for what Alec says about “being 85” when the kids graduate… I mean, when Carmen graduates from high school, he’ll be about 73 years old. When Leonardo graduates from high school, Alec will be 78. And yeah, it’s not the best.

Meh. I’m a bit reticent to talk about how someone is too old to have kids. Because the truth of the matter is none of us know when we’re going to go. Someone could have a kid at 30 and die at 35. Yes statistically speaking you are more likely to go when you’re older- but it’s still a massive assumption. His kids will be a decent age to have experienced their father by the time they are teens or in college so I don’t find that to be a major issue.
But – I can definitely see him FEELING too old to have more. And I can DEFINITELY see Hilaria getting pregnant again lol. So yeah I think Alec is done. But he’s not the one is charge in that area lol.
Men over 45 are warned about having kids. Having them at or close to 60 is just irresponsible.
She works outside of the home? Doing what?
That’s a LOT of young kids in a short span of time, and it has to be exhausting, even with help.
She is a yoga instructor with her own studio. She was decent pre Alec and has now blown up. She teaches classes from studio to department stores.
I have done a few of the basic moves she post on her IG. They really helped with some issues I was having.
I would have had more kids if I had the money and started five years earlier.
I had decently easy pregnancies and I love being a mom and being with my kids way more than I imagined I would when I spent my 20s not wanting any kids at all lol.
This is a conversation he needs to have with his wife.

I think Hilaria want to wear Alec out with children and when he kicks the bucket some Spanish stude, will slide into the family.
I agree with Alec. Four is enough and if Hilaria wants more it’s greedy and not practical due to his age.
He should get a vasectomy. It’s his body and his right as far as I’m concerned.
