Also Nipsey apologized and I know by action he meant it….who do you see in the public eye that takes the L and better educates himself and continues to invest in his community. No one is perfect….

Anyone really shocked by Mindys lack of diversity? She wrote off almost all of her female characters in her own damn show and as noted in the article, the other writers are all white males. I was a fan of hers till the more I read about her the more I feel it’s a “I got mine situation”.

She has addressed that multiple times, maybe you should actually look into what she’s said.
It’s not she says, it’s what she does… And she’s seems very (white) male-oriented.
The list of writers in that article isn’t from her current show, it was the list from TMP.
Her new movie had a female of Indian heritage as a writer (Mindy) and director (Nisha Ganatra). The crew was gender parity.
As for the writing staff for her new show, it remains to be seen, but I think she has evolved and learned from past mistakes. IMO, it is important to recognize past failures and also recognize when people grow past that.
Issa and Louis is a whole lotta beautiful, let me tell you.
