Is anyone else getting some VIBES from these photos? These pics are from Wednesday, in London. An actress named Zawe Ashton was launching her first book, Character Breakdown. To celebrate, Tom Hiddleston came out to support her. Tom and Zawe are currently working together on stage, in Betrayal. Night after night of intimacy and talking and sharing. Treading the boards with one another, perhaps going out for a drink after the show. It’s clear that they’ve developed a certain closeness.
But what is this vibe? I tend to believe that Tom Hiddleston would NOT be so outwardly friendly with a woman he was truly involved with romantically. He would pose with her, for sure, and they would take all sorts of friendly photos. But look at the way they’re holding on to each other, even knowing that they’re being photographed? I say… they’re probably not banging. But maybe they both want to. Sigh… it’s been so long since we’ve seen Tom interact with a lady, I forgot how giddy it makes me feel.

They have been going to various places, art galleries, restaurants, together but they usually have Charlie with them so who knows.
Zawe makes interesting fashion choices. She seems to like very oversized clothing.

I remember her from an episode of “Misfits.” She’s beautiful. Tom comes off as asexual to me, but I’d be down for them two dating.

I was about to say the same thing. Her character and performance make that show memorable. If I were in London I’d love to see them onstage together.
I loved Her character on Fresh Meat ! The biggest problem with that show was not enough Vod for me! Also loved her on Netflix Velvet Buzz. As for her & Tom.. eah she could do better.
Sometimes friends just click, but they certainly look happy together, so all the power to then if that’s something they both want. I love seeing being natually love each other. Love is not definitively romantic. Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams had the most beautiful moment last night, holding each other and looking so genuinely in love. Because they are. We don’t have to want to marry people or have sex with them to want a profound love with them.
I would LOVE if Zawe aka Jaye Davidson’s FRIGGIN TWIN from “The Crying Game” to get with Tom….

I saw the play. The guy is pretty sick. Was coughing on stage and sniffling. Still acted the hell out of the hour and a half though. Bless Zawe and Charlie for swapping Tom’s cold spit back and forth on stage lol.

Zawe is definitely the type of person I would love to see Tom with. Actress, pretty, smart(by show bizz standards), talented, interesting and she got a good career going. But I dont think they are banging. It is probably true, that if they were, Tom would be trying to distance himself from her…

You all need to check out the brit comedy series Fresh Meat. It is Hilarious and quite touching at times. It’s about a house of college kids. Zawe is superb in it.

Sorry to break it to those of you who are certain about Tom and Zawe being an item. It’s common practice for PR/Management to encourage actors to be seen together, especially when they’re working on a romantic project. Very often the PR also arrange for photo ops as the couple go out and about. Remember when Tom was linked to actresses who were already in relationships i.e Elizabeth, Jessica and Lara? We work in PR, so know how this works. It’s cunning but doesn’t always work. Ahem, Tom and Taylor!? We live in the same area as Tom and jog and hang out in the same vicinities. And we saw him back in 2017 with a significant woman for a long while. We believe they broke up last year, as not seen him with anyone since. FYI, Tom has a KEEN eye for Black and Latin women. Hahaha, we can hear you gasping. We noticed the same with Prince Harry back when he used to frequent Boujis nightclub, and no-one believed us. Then look what happened! Anyway, Tom likes Brown Sugar, for REAL!! No use to you if like us are caucasian, one of us is blond, the other is brunette! That said, although Zawe is mixed race and handsome, she is NOT his type, believe us. They are work mates, that’s it. You wonder why the paps haven’t taken photos of him to reveal all of his romantic situations? They like him, because he’s always very polite to them. Perhaps they also realise what a bad PR move the Taylor Swift was, and feel sorry for him, because some of them fuelled the situation. After that, they left him alone to go to seed. Hopefully, he has realised the enormity of his ambition and found that it’s not worth doing ANYTHING for.

Oh you’re thinking of Joanna Kaze. She lives in Hampstead too. She’s from South Africa originally, like his ex-girlfriend that he dated at university. They have mutual links from the past and from living in the same area, so it was inevitable that they would eventually meet. But no, she’s more of an acquaintance with Tom. The woman he was in a relationship with isn’t an actress or in the music industry. Which is good for him, because he didn’t receive any interest from the media at all. They went about quite freely, and were very happy. It’s funny that people on here think we’re making things up. Yet we’re giving you all the opportunity to gain some simple facts about him that you wouldn’t ever find out via the media or via fan girls who are obsessed with him. A lot of people living in the area noticed that he seemed very pensive and serious last year. It’s hard to know really. Tom is very good at keeping up appearances. The clues to what he feels are not what he says. He is a master at using language to divert other peoples attention. Language is his weapon and his shield. The clues to understanding what he feels are in his subtle gestures. Look at his hands. Have you seen his knuckles?
I did notice his knuckles seem to be protruding more, but I thought it was just like that as people age. Actually, I did know someone long ago that would continuously pop their knuckles or keep rubbing on them when he was nervous.

Just as nobody believes that Tom entered an arrangement with Taylor Swift for publicity. Many couldn’t imagine that sweet, docile, kind Tom could possibly be so cunning and deliberate. Yet we all knew he had just finished filming ‘I Saw The Light’ in Tenessee, which is Taylor’s adopted home. Taylor’s habit of taking up with guys for brief periods, which always gives them an extra flush of publicity, was just what Tom needed to help boost interest for the movie. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing. Tom was up until that point relationship phobic. Even his 3 year relationship with Susannah was on and off due to work demands. If you REALLY want to gain insight into the workings of Tom’s mind, then research Boarding School Syndrome. Check out Youtube and watch ‘Nick Duffel, Trauma, Abandonment and Privilege.’ Why? Because Tom attended prep-school and boarding school from the age of 5 years. My cousin was in the year above him at Eaton, and he has exactly the same patterns of behaviour; he’s a perfect gentleman; very successful, loyal to friends; a supportive hero and messiah to all and sundry’; and completely emotionally unavailable in romantic situations beyond 6 months. The classic British boarding school system does a lot of emotional, psychological and sexual damage, which affects people’s ability to have long term, sustained relationships. Which answers why Tom doesn’t do relationships much. Ok, ok I’ve rambled on enough. But like I said, this is your opportunities to know some truths, instead of speculating and day dreaming about a man whose behaviour (kind, perfect, polite, delicate, charming etc) belies some very deep pain and a lot of rage. He’s not a star. He’s a complexed human being. Give some room. Allow him to breathe. Because he hasn’t the strength to say “Fuck U all! Leave me alone! I need to turn away from all of this celebrity crap, and find meaning in my life and commit to it!”

You do really need to work on your facts, dear. I Saw the Light was filmed in 2014 in Louisiana, not Tennessee, He did spend time in Tennessee in September 2014 preparing for it but it was pretty well documented by Rodney Crowell and Rodney Crowell’s daughters and even Crowell’s ex-wife Roseanne Cash that he spent pretty much all of his time at Crowell’s place while Swift was very publicly in New York City. The film was released in April 2016 and pretty much out of theaters by the time he met her in May.

I saw all three of them in Betrayal last week and they were AMAZING and me and my friend hung out by the stage door afterwards and saw Tom and Charlie do autographs (and they were both so friendly – even though they must have been exhausted) But Tom’s hair … oops. She was in this amazing documentary called “Dreams of a Life” about a woman who died in central London and wasn’t found in her flat for three years. She was the re-enacter. I saw this movie at SXSW years ago and at the end they asked if anyone had any questions and it was the only time I ever saw a Q&A where everyone’s hand went up. No one could believe this could happen. For the record the woman who died, had a job was well known and liked and was found with christmas presents she was wrapping when she died… CREEPY AF!

He looks sickly, prematurely aged and nearly anorexic (and depressed most of the time). The China ad shows, he also didn’t learn to make sensible decisions. PR with his co-stars to keep us guessing if they are banging and keep us guessing about brown sugar and so on, shouldn’t be on his mind. He‘s still so concerned about his public image. Why just not concentrate on acting, quality work and himself? Would do him good, I think.
Gabriel Says – A lot of people agree with you. Tom very often is conflicted between helping others, and being savvy about his brand. It’s almost as though he doesn’t really understand that he has a brand. And that to nurture it, he sometimes has to be very calculated about who gives his time and energy to. He was told by the director to not spend so much time signing autographs out in the cold and rain, because he could potentially catch a cold, and then ruin his performances. But he was compelled to go out there as usual, to give the fans what they want. Because he is really scared of loosing their support. He has created a monster that he now can’t control. And the price is his health and well being. He also is not inclined to have long term relationships. Which makes his personal life a very isolated place to return home to. This is a man at a very challenging crossroads in his mid-life, and he is going to have to make a decision one way or another and soon, about what he is going to prioritise. You are right, he has aged terribly within just 2 years. My friend did his make-up last year, and she was stunned! She said his skin is worse than Samuel L Jackson’s and Mark Ruffalo and they are 50 something and 70 something years old. I believe poor Tom has experienced a mental break down of some kind at some point in the last 2 years. God help him.

@ Hampstead Eye: What you´re writing is painful to read. It´s like written paparazzi-pics. If you really knew him as well as you claim to, it would be the biggest lack of respect to post it online. If you don´t (which I hope) it´s bad fanfiction. I really had to say it, although @Charlotte already put it in a funnier way.
If they are dating, that would be lovely. Zawe is gorgeous and seems like an intelligent, talented woman. That said, I’d be happy to see him settle down with pretty much anyone at this point. He doesn’t give off eternal bachelor/playboy vibes like DiCaprio or (for a long time) Clooney. He has always seemed quite close to his family and I imagine wants one of his own eventually. Purely speculative on my part, obviously. I think any woman he’s serious about will be kept relatively out of the spotlight.
Zawe seems really sweet. She might be good for him, but I think they’re just good friends. I don’t see him wanting to date another celebrity anytime soon after the Taylor fiasco. I think the main problem with his skin looking worse is that he’s lost weight so it sort of hangs on him and looks looser around the face. Plus with really pale people (I know this from experience) unfortunately you can see pretty much every line on their faces. I think if he gained some weight and filled out again, did something different with his hair and shaved, he’d probably look more less like he did before. He’s only 38. I’m thinking he changed his appearance so people wouldn’t recognize him as much, although it seems that they do. And some of the stories I’m hearing about what some fans are pulling at stage door are just plain scary.
