I’m low-key obsessed with how ALL of the York princesses’ boyfriends sort of look alike. They ALL have the same general look, and now Beatrice is dating a guy who looks a lot like her ex, and he looks like her sister’s husband too. Beatrice has been dating Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi since late last summer. It definitely felt like the only unmarried royal from her generation wanted to have a boyfriend for her sister’s wedding. Beatrice is so the Bridget Jones of the Windsors!! Anyway, I think being the last single girl standing is starting to affect Bea. She seems to be moving at warp speed with Edoardo – there were engagement rumors after just a few months, and she’s reportedly hellbent on getting pregnant soon too??
Princess Beatrice will have her day by any means necessary, according to a source close to the Royal. It has been suggested that she is willing to eschew royal protocol as a means to fulfil her yearning aspiration. A source close to the princess revealed: “Beatrice is desperate to get married as soon as possible and is already trying to fall pregnant. She wants a family and doesn’t care if she’s pregnant when they walk down the aisle.
“Even though this would be heavily frowned upon by the senior royals.
“However the truth is, we could have a royal shotgun wedding on our hands.”

This is obviously total bullsh-t. Beatrice might be fast-tracking the thing with Edoardo – I think she is – but she’s not going to have a shotgun wedding. The Windsors are not the Anything-Goes Grimaldis. The Windsors know what’s expected of them. My guess is that the timeline for the next few months is this: Meghan will have the baby, then Princess Eugenie will announce that she’s pregnant (probably) and then they’ll announce Bea’s engagement a month or two after Eugenie’s announcement. Then I think Duchess Kate will be pregnant by the fall too.
There weren’t a ton of photos of Princess Beatrice at the Easter service at St. George’s Chapel, but here’s one pic where she’s walking behind the Cambridges.

They look so…chaste together. I’m not saying he’s gay, but they look like friends and that’s it. So the idea of them having sex and then a shotgun wedding just doesn’t compute.

Yup. I know the poor girl can’t help it but that’s the first thing I see when I see a photo of her.
I get total sketch vibes from this guy. Had a Small child and suddenly he was no longer with the child’s mother but with Bea. He’s a “Property developer” blah blah blah. I don’t have a good feeling about this.
Bea has a bad picker, her BF’s have always been sketchy in some way.
The press have always painted the York Princesses as inferior — it’s a continuation of their obsession with Fergie since she first appeared with Andy post Koo Stark.
I’ve always felt a bit sorry for the girl, as whatever they do is fodder for public ridicule in the news.
And yes, their parents do use them to ignite their own spotlight, so there’s that…

She’s been wearing them a lot lately. Looks great but always a swing coat. But she just christened her baby so probably post partum comfort.
Hmm. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi was engaged to his ex., Dara Huang, for three years and they have a son together. According to various gossip sites, he left his partner and son “suddenly” for Beatrice. I hope that Huang and Mozzi co-parent amicably.

Someone in the family has to have the flaming ball of fire relationship and everyone else seems to be in it for the long haul (genuine happiness not being a factor). So… *shrug*
Seriously, though. She can do so much better and I hope she does. Don’t marry this guy, Bea. Just don’t.

I don’t see any resemblance between Edoardo and Beatrice’s ex David Clark and I would never confuse them. I do get “douche bag frat Wall Street vibes” from Edoardo though, something about him just seems off but it could just be those Elizabeth Holmes-esque piercing blue eyes that suggest he is up to no good.
And Jack Brooksbank doesn’t look like either of them. Out of the three, I think I could have a drink and a fun conversation with him. Maybe not the brightest guy but he seems to worship the ground his wife walks on and seems so smitten with her. I will always remember how he put his glasses on to watch Eugenie walk down the aisle and took them off as soon as she reached him at the altar. I thought it was one of the most simple but sweetest gestures I had seen in a long time.
