Duchess Kate published new photos to celebrate Princess Charlotte’s 4th b-day

charlotte2

Princess Charlotte turns four years old today. I forgot that there’s a three-year age difference between Charlotte and Louis, honestly, and that their birthdays are within days of each other. Kate had Charlotte in 2015, just a few months shy of Prince George’s second birthday. It was said that William was pleased that Charlotte was a girl, and that they had “one of each” and he wanted to stop there, and Kate had to convince him to have a third. I wonder if she’ll need to convince him to have a fourth?

Anyway, happy birthday to Charlotte. Her mom took some photos of her on the grounds of Anmer Hall, possibly even the same day as the Prince Lou photos. Like the Lou photos, Charlotte had some costume changes. Charlotte wore a cute little Easter-dress paired with cute knock-around slip-on sneakers (without laces, weirdly). In the other photos, she wears a sweet plaid skirt (something which looks like something from Kate’s closet) and a little heathered cardigan. I know there’s always debate – like, sometimes really passionate debate – about which side of the family the Cambridges kids take after. To me, I still say that George takes after both sides – I see a lot of William in him, but I also see a lot of Michael Middleton. Charlotte though… I just see very strong Middleton-woman genes. Charlotte’s basically a hodge-podge of Kate, Pippa and Carole. I don’t see much Windsor or Spencer in her.

Also: at her event yesterday, Kate revealed that Charlotte loves slime, which is really a huge thing with Kids Today. Kate told a slime-loving child: “Charlotte, my daughter, she dropped hers on the floor and it was pink and ended up brown and covered in so much mud. It ends up all gooey, doesn’t it?” How old do kids have to be before they can start making their own slime?

Are you kidding? She is all William. But adorable.

    • LaraK says:

      Yes she is!

      • (TheOG)@Jan90067 says:

Char is ALL William, with Kate’s coloring. She has his checks, his smile, even the head-duck is all William. George, on the other hand, is a mini Michael Middleton. Louis is pure Kate though. I saw a pic of their baby’s pics side-by-side, and it was striking.

If nothing else, W&K make beautiful babies. She looks like she’s fun and high-spirited. Happy Birthday, Char!

    • Digital Unicorn says:

Yeah, she is the spit of William at that age.

      • Still_Sarah says:

I don’t know – maybe if she was balding, I would be able to see the resemblance. LOL. I always thought she looked like Queen Elizabeth II. Whatever. She looks like a real live wire though! Tons of energy and spark.

    • Eliza says:

I see mostly William too with a little Kate.

    • Dot says:

Yes! I see so much William in her face, especially around the eyes and nose.

    • Nic919 says:

I don’t see anything but William either. Especially when he was that age.

    • Ali says:

She looks exactly like him especially in the first photo!

    • BayTampaBay says:

I always thought Charlotte was the spitting image of QEII.

      • Tilly says:

Exactly, she’s a mini QEII, she looks almost identical to the Queen at the same age.
        Those Windsor genes are STRONG

      • whatWHAT? says:

YES THIS THIS THIS. she look SO MUCH like QE, such a sassy little girl.

      • FluffyPrincess says:

I’m on the QEII team. I think she looks so much like HM, a little mini-Maj! You can tell she rules the roost too–her strong personality comes through in these photos.

I think Louis looks like the Middletons–especially Kate’s father. Lou and Grandpa Michael have the same eyebrows!

George is a good compilation of both families!

      • Erica says:

        THIS!

      • Justanothersarah says:

Yep. I can see maybe some coloring from Kate, but on the whole, a total clone of QEII, complete with the feisty look in her eyes!

      • notasugarhere says:

Lady Louise is the spit of the Queen.

    • Lightpurple says:

She’s a miniature clone of the Queen.

    • Becks1 says:

Like Kaiser said, really passionate debates, lol.

    • Erinn says:

I find there’s times where she’s had more of a Kate vibe, but at this age she is absolutely looking much more like William.

    • Sam Louise says:

Absolutely! I was blown away by how much she now looks like William! All her expressions and her eyes are just like daddy. I always thought she looked like the queen, but clearly her other Windsor genes – William – are showing now. What a cutie! I think she’ll grow up to be a beautiful young woman. Happy Birthday, Charlotte!

    • L84Tea says:

      Absolutely 100% William.

    • Jegede says:

      Exactly.👌👌

I’ve always said she looked like William. From the get-go.

If Charlotte had blonde hair, there’d be zero debate and it’s getting clearer as she grows.

That first pic, it’s honestly like they photoshopped Will’s face onto a child’s body.

    • cas says:

100% William, that is all I see!

    • Himmiefan says:

I see some William, but all three are mostly Middleton, fortunately for them.

    • perplexed says:

Yeah, all I see is William.

    • 90sgirl says:

She is practically a photo of Lady Sarah Chatto. She looks so much like her, as a child and even as an adult. The Queen’s neice, Princess Maragets daughter.

      I don’t see William or Spencers. .
I see Kates eye color or maybe a tad darker eye, but similar color and Kates hair though.

    • Jen says:

These pictures especially seem to emphasize the William-aspects of her looks. I’ve thought she was more of a blend before.

    • snappyfish says:

She looks like the Queen was she was a little

    • GreenQueen says:

Couldn’t agree more. I literally saw the header pic and thought “that child is all Windsor”. She is a doll now of course, just ya know, William’s face as it aged has done him no favors.

    • BeanieBean says:

More and more, every day, that’s William’s face. She’s still a cutie.

    • april says:

She looks so much like William.

  2. Cidy says:

Such a happy little smile. These kids are a delight in every photo they have so much character. I also love the dress/sneakers combo. I dress my niece like that all the time, it’s such a cute aesthetic.

  3. Skyblue says:

I think she looks just like her dad. Especially in the sweater pictures.

    • minx says:

Yes. I think girls often look like the father and boys like the mother. Happened in my family.

      • Jegede says:

        @minx

        Yes.

Famous examples, see the Reagan and Kennedy children.

And Chelsea Clinton. Even the Bush twins

      • Esmom says:

Jegede, with the Bush twins, I’ve always thought Barbara is a dead ringer for Laura and Jenna for W.

As for Charlotte, I’ve only seen QEII in her but now I see William, which is a little odd because I always thought he had so much Diana in his face.

      • Ash says:

@Minx I find that sooooo true unless someone has genes that are excessively dominant.
I look just like my dad and my baby boy looks so astoundingly like me that I get told that he looks as if I had a child by myself. (As a single mother in all legal and technical terms, that notion sits very well with me 😜)

    • AnnaKist says:

I’m hopeless at seeing who looks like whom. To me, she just looks like herself. 🤷‍♂️ She’s utterly adorable.

  4. Becks1 says:

She looks like such a pistol. It’s fun watching her grow up.

The plaid skirt looks like a school uniform to me, but she doesn’t wear one, right? Maybe that’s just my catholic school background coming out, ha.

I cant decide who she looks like either. I think people have always said “the queen” because of how we typically see her, in the dresses and with the barrettes etc. but when I look back at pictures of the queen from 20s, she and Charlotte actually don’t look that much alike.

  5. Scal says:

The picture where she’s running I can see William in the smile and the nose.

    Cute kid. Cute pictures.

  6. Neners says:

I can tell just by looking at these pictures that Charlotte runs that house hahaha She is adorable and spunky!

  7. Megan says:

What a cutie. She definitely takes after the Midd women.

  8. CindyP says:

I think she resembles Princess Margaret’s daughter Sarah Chatto when she was a child. especially in the first pic. See no Middleton in her at all

    • minx says:

Yes, exactly! And she’s all Windsor imo.

    • sushi says:

That is what I thought as well. She resembles Sarah Chatto.

      • BayTampaBay says:

I sorta see a resemblance to Princess Anne when Anne was in late teens early twenties.

    • ana says:

I googled photos of Sarah Chatto as a child and yep Charlotte looks so much like her.

      • 90sgirl says:

That’s who I see too, lady Sarah Chatto. Some people on twitter posted photos of Lady Sarah Chatto at various Royal events as she was growing up and there is great resemblance.

  9. Emby says:

George looks like Michael Middleton superimposed on the face of William.
Charlotte looks like the queen as a girl.
    Louis looks like Kate Middleton.

  10. OSTONE says:

I think out of the three, she is the most Windsor-looking. To me she resembles TQ and William, but I can see the Middleton side as well.

  11. DC Cliche says:

I see the Queen in features (minus cheeks) and William in the looks. (esp that one on the fence!)

  12. Tris says:

That child is pure Elizabeth! HRH is all I see when I look at these pics, esp the one on the fence. Adorable!

  13. Mar says:

I think she looks exactly like the Queen

  14. Jennifer says:

She looks shockingly like William and Diana.

    • Kari says:

She sure does. The spencer genes are strong expecially the eyes. Beautiful little girl.

    • Becks1 says:

I’m as bad at this as I am at royal baby name predictions, lol, but I do think I see William the most in these pictures, over any other member of her family.

  15. Ellie says:

I only see William, those eyes and smile is the spitting image of his especially when he was this age. IMO she has the least of Kate out of all 3.

    • Kittycat says:

      I agree

    • Jegede says:

👍I’ve never seen any Middleton in her.

Charlotte is the one who looks like Will, (with a dark colouring).

But girls tend to look like their dads.

      • Lady D says:

I hope she has her mother’s hair. Only the men in that family bald, right? Both HM and Ann seem to have great hair with lots of wave and curl.

  16. Seraphina says:

I really see TQ in her. PG looks like Michael A LOT. louis not sure. I remember Wills and how much he resembled Diana. And he was so adorable and handsome, and the BAM! Brick wall and it all went down hill. I’m sure his personality doesn’t help either. Because let’s be honest, people’s personalities always shine through.

  17. Margareth says:

Charlotte is cute but the pics aren’t very good.

    • Kittycat says:

None of the photos Kate takes are really good but I guess the relaxed vibe makes up for it?

      • Nic919 says:

She does that blurry background effect in all the photos and it’s very annoying.

    • olive says:

Kate’s photos are definitely average. she’s no great photographer, they’re not terrible either though. Standard “mom with DSLR” photos.

    • Becks1 says:

Yeah, Kate is an okay photographer, probably has a very nice camera, and her kids are super cute and seem to be fairly comfortable in front of a camera (which makes sense, they’re sheltered but still have been in the public eye with photographers etc), so the pictures are super cute.

  18. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

Slime is just one of those concoctions standing the test of time. If you’re young, you love it, and you love making it. Industrious little entrepreneurs sell it lol.

Those aren’t pics of Charlotte. They’re colorized black and whites of the Queen. I’m surprised nobody caught that.

  19. KellyRyan says:

She is a spunky, (determined), little girl. I can imagine how busy the household is trying to keep up with her.

  20. L84Tea says:

    George = Michael Middleton

    Charlotte = William

    Louis = Kate

  21. Sassy says:

She’s a good mix of William and the Middletons.

  22. Enn says:

She’s such a little spitfire. I’m starting to see Diana around the eyes.

  23. Gem says:

She’s a mini QE2! I see lots of little kids with the sneakers sans laces look, but of course you have to get a dig in. This picture absolutely radiates personality! I wish she had been the first born.

    • Enn says:

My niece and nephew have shoes like these and they’re great because they can put them on without needing help! Just slip and go.

    • Tourmaline says:

I have some laceless sneakers–chillax by keds! love em

  24. Pamela says:

She’s 100% William, especially in the toothy smile pic. It’s George who is all Middleton – flat round face.

    • 90sgirl says:

AllI see is Lady Sarah Chatto, when I see her. The spit of Lady Sarah Chatto.

    • olive says:

yeah, I don’t see any resemblance to the Queen – i think people are comparing Charlotte to the Queen now as an old woman, but if you look at the Queen around Charlotte’s age there isn’t a resemblance. Charlotte looks a LOT like William at that age, she appears to have the same eyes as him, which look just like Diana’s!

      • notasugarhere says:

Look at pictures of the young Princess Elizabeth and then look at Lady Louise. Those two are the lookalikes.

  25. Ponytail says:

The plimsoles are by Bensimon, if I’m not mistaken. I have the Elly too, but in a slightly larger size…

  26. Case says:

She’s an adorable little girl. I think she’s a good mix of her parents, actually, and does also look quite like the Queen.

Question: Why did her slime get MUDDY when she dropped it on the floor? Surely the Cambridges don’t have muddy floors in their home, lol. Maybe she was playing outside and Kate meant to say “ground.”

  27. Ruth Montgomerie says:

I’m sorry, I think she looks just like Queen Elizabeth!!!

  28. MeghanNotMarkle says:

Those Windsor genes are strong. She is a beautiful little girl and has always looked like a cheeky firecracker. She runs that household, you can tell. Good on you, Charlotte. Show those boys who’s boss.

    I want her shoes.

  29. 90sgirl says:

She looks like Lady Sarah Chatto, who celebrated her 55th birthday May 1.
and maybe a bit of Pippa.
    (With Kates eye color)
    IMO

  30. Casey02 says:

Middleton genes are strong….she’s all Kate and Pippa. Williams eyes yes, but facial structure and nose is all Middleton! She’s a beautiful little girl. To bad she’s like a lamb that will be eventually slaughtered by the British media and British people in about 20 years… she’s not a future Queen, she and her family aren’t relevant, she’s 6 inline and a minor royal…you know all the stuff they say about Prince Harry.

    • Kittycat says:

Charlotte has one advantage over Harry and that she will be the Princess Royal and the only daughter of King William.

Hopefully she follows in her aunt’s footsteps and is a hard worker.

      • Casey02 says:

Princess Anne wasn’t the spare as is Charlotte. Eventually She will be thrown to the wolves to protect George…The spares have a hard row to hoe in the Royal Family. One can only hope that Kate/William can protect their beautiful daughter for what is surely to come…

      • Lorelei says:

        That’s IF W&K don’t have another girl…

      • BeanieBean says:

I just googled it, Princess Anne wasn’t made the princess royal until 1987, when she was in her late 30s. So, if Charlotte becomes the princess royal, that title won’t protect her from the press when she’s in her teens/twenties.

      • Lady D says:

Or William will throw her under a bus to protect his rep just as Charles did to William and Harry. William puts himself first before everyone. I don’t see that changing in him.

      • Memurs says:

The Princess Royal title has been bestowed on some princesses as infants. It really depends on how long Princess Anne (and also Prince Charles) live. It can’t be given to Charlotte as long as Anne is living or until William is king. Anne isn’t young, but with those genes, it could be another 30+ years.

      • notasugarhere says:

Anne was made Princess Royal c1987 because she was pitching fits about Diana and Fergie. Also why HM changed the order of precedence so Diana and Fergie would curtsy to Anne and Alexandra if Charles and Andrew were not present.

    • 90sgirl says:

Yup in 20 years the British press will make her the wild child, the party girl, the free spirit minor Royal.

    • Ellie says:

I think that will be more likely Louis. Charlotte has much more advantage in how she’s portrayed since she’ll be a woman and the only daughter… plus the Princess Royal – so more ‘importance.’ She’ll also likely have more of a role in the RF whereas Louis may get the chance to do more of his own thing.

      • 90sgirl says:

She and Louis will go further and further down the line just as all royals who are not the heir do once the heir produces offspring.

For the British press George wills always be the golden one with the press.
When the second and third child reach their 20’s The British press usually will slowly turn into a scenario that will portray them as lesser.
I hope Charlotte and Louis enjoy their young lives, because as soon as they hit about 20 the British press is not to be trusted to be kind, to them.

Charlotte won’t be a Princess Royal unless she is made Princess Royal.

    • A says:

I feel like this is really ridiculous to say at this point. She’s 4, for one thing. For another, why be so quick to bring her down already? There’s a huge gulf of time between now and when she becomes a grown up, and for all we know, the British media landscape might change in that time. Why be so negative about a little kid’s life so quickly?

  31. Anne says:

Charlotte looks like Queen E II. And she is so adorable bay.

  32. Mumbles says:

She’s my favorite of the bunch. Last year during the trooping of the color she was following along with a little book they must have given the kids. She seemed really engaged. She may be the intellectual of the lot!

  33. Linda says:

She is such a beautiful girl.

  34. Anastasia says:

She’s got strong strong Windsor genes showing up in her appearance. Personality and temperament wise we’ll have to wait and see.

  35. Citresse says:

I think Kate removed the laces because of the choking hazard around Louis or it’s a new fashion fad in Europe???? I don’t know but anyway the photos are nice….Charlotte will be a great beauty like Princess Margaret.

    • Ellie says:

Laces are not practical use for children this young anyway. They always come undone in play and always have to be retied. Much more easier to leave it bare or go with straps, and introduce laces when they’re at an age to know how to tie it.

    • olive says:

there were probably no laces to remove, they sell kids’ shoes that look like they’re supposed to have laces but are actually just regular slip-ons so kids still run in them.

      • Brandy Alexander says:

Hell, I have those same shoes as an adult that look they are supposed to have laces but just slip on.

    • Ponytail says:

This style doesn’t have laces – look up Bensimon Elly. They’re elasticated, not tie-ups.

  36. Oceanbreeze says:

    Beautiful just like her mother!

  37. holly hobby says:

She looks a lot like her grandma, QE II. It’s the eyes.

  38. TyrantDestroyed says:

She seems like a lovely and happy little girl. I think the resembling depends on the photo. The smile in the first one reminds me of grandma Carole and her aunt and in the rest she looks just like William. It happens the same with George, he takes after grandpa Michael and his dad depending on the photo.
Louis is the one that seems to be taking a lot after mom and Kate’s brother.
The photos are nice but it seems that Kate used the newest Hwawei phone that makes all backgrounds super blurry.

    • olive says:

Kate often photographs her children with a shallow depth of field that isn’t entirely uncommon in portrait work.
that new phone is just finally catching up with photography techniques that have been around about as long as photography?? that was an odd comment…

      • TyrantDestroyed says:

I find it annoying and overdone by Instagramers. It seems more common now with last generation cellphones. If you like the technique that’s fine as well as it is fine for me not to love it.

  39. Lilly (with the double_L) says:

Aww… Happy birthday. Four is such a cute age.

  40. Casey02 says:

Hmmmm… bending over backwards to link to Windsor’s…I predict the one to come that the bending over backwards crowd will bend into fractures to paint the one to come to look like maternal family….

    • noway says:

She doesn’t need to bend over backwards to be linked to the Windsors. She is one, whether she looks like it or not. She’s cute, and that is one of the best smiles on a kid. It does remind me a bit of her Dad and Princess Di, but that’s just my opinion. Which we all should be entitled to. Also, who knows what she will look like when she gets older. For years I thought William never looked like his Dad at all, he was all Princess Di, but as he aged he did look a lot more like his Dad.

  41. Jessica says:

It’s not weird for a newly 4 year old child to be wearing laceless shoes at all. Quite common until they learn to tie their own shoes.

  42. kristen says:

A 4 year-old would have a hard time tying laces, and they’d be a choking hazard with Louis.
She’s ALL William! She even has the little tucked-under-her-chin head tilt thing (which, truly, is Diana).

  43. Lucia says:

I can’t knock Kate. She seems like she’s trying very hard to give all 3 of them as much of a normal childhood as possible. I think that’s very good considering I think the effects of not having a normal childhood had a lasting impact on William and Harry. If that is her primary duty, I’m okay with it.

    • notasugarhere says:

All the other royal women, British or otherwise, manage to work and give their kids normal childhoods, but somehow W&K cannot handle it? Guess Maxima, Letizia, Mathilde, Mary, Marie, Victoria are all lousy parents to you. They face just as much public pressure/attention in their home countries as W&K do in the UK, but manage to work and raise happy kids.

      • Oceanbreeze says:

It’s 2019. Comparing women and saying one should be just as good as another is paramount to shaming. In the year 2019, shaming women ? Get a grip on yourself.
Let any women be who they are without comparisons.

      • Wowsers says:

Lol, NotA you are so predictable, not even one nice comment is allowed to pass you by when it comes to Kate is it?
Those other royals have no where near the same level of global attention and scrutiny, come on.

      • Casey20 says:

The bar is sooooo low for Kate…. She has Nannies, cooks, maids, etc and she works 1hour a month (on a good month)…give me a break with this comparing women…Kate’s LAZY and work shy!!!

      • Oceanbreeze says:

So it’s ok to forgo feminist principals when it’s somebody you don’t like?
Kate is a mother. In 2019 it is ok to be a mother first. If the the Queen is ok with how much she works and there doesn’t seem to be this massive revolt with the UK people who pay their way, why are you all up in airs about it? How does her not making public engagements put such a negative impact on your life that you feel the need to call a women lazy? That doesn’t say much about you as a person. Calling somebody names.
It doesn’t matter how much paid help you have. Those three kids only have one mother and she’s obviously chosen that to be her priority. She blessed that she can.

      • Casey20 says:

So you speak for the Queen? The woman is lazy. She’s never worked a single day in her life. She spent years waiting on a man to marry her…she didn’t work…she did nothing but WAIT! There is nothing that speaks feminist about Kate..PERIOD! Prior to Meghan coming on the scene the UK press often wrote about the work shy Duchess and her reluntant husband future King. In all honesty, Kate’s probably best at home, being a mom. She really has nothing else to offer, so she’ll be a good example for those stay at home moms that can manage to put on a good face while husband cheats (not all stay home moms, just those like Kate)….Meghan on the other hand, I can’t wait to see what’s next!!!

      • Oceanbreeze says:

If you had the chance to meet the duchess of Sussex and sit down for a cup of tea and said to her face what you just wrote about her sister in law what do you think she would think about your viewpoints? With everything she has been through with her own family? How fast do you think Meghan would be looking for an exit after listening to your nonsense?
Meghan is a feminist. You sound like a troll. Maybe you should try and elevate your thinking to be on par with your idol. She wouldn’t have the time of day with somebody who is so quick to judge and humiliate others.

      • Nic919 says:

Enough with saying it’s not feminist to criticize a woman. That’s garbage. One can be a mother and also do a few engagements per week without compromising how the children are raised. All the other royal women have managed to work much more than Kate and they have had young kids too. Are we saying Sophie has neglected her kids? We should expect more than just the bare minimum and saying “oh she’s a mother we can never criticize” is ridiculous. Are we also saying that mothers who have to work and don’t have nannies and housekeepers are bad mothers? That’s doesn’t sound very feminist to me.

      • Oceanbreeze says:

That’s not what I wrote at all.
But nice try…you’re obviously too outdated to understand modern feminist principals. Perhaps a class at a local college would be useful for you?
Kate chose to be a mother first. You seem to have a problem with that. The Queen doesn’t and she and the UK public are her boss, or she would be doing more engagements. Saying others did this so Kate can do this is forward feminist thinking?
Would you have the audacity to say this to her face?

Again no defence for your shaming, name calling and defamation. Is that because you can’t address how rude that behaviour is?
        Deflect, deflect, deflect.
I’m proven all my points. You just like to come up new ones to deflect. Not going to work. Keep shaming and dragging women back to the Middle Ages.

      • Oceanbreeze says:

Meghan is a feminist. She would not tolerate any troll shaming, disparaging name calling of her sister in law. She would defend her right to be whom ever she wanted to be and would never tolerate shaming somebody by being compared to somebody else.
How do I know such things about Meghan? Simple. It’s a modern feminist principal.
Those who feel they need to drag women down need to take a good look at themselves.
There is being critical, and there is also a point where you cross the line into just being plain nasty. Nothing elevating about that.

It appears CB won’t let me respond to this.

    • A says:

I think that she’s an exceptional mother to her children. She seems really hands on and involved with their lives. I think that criticism of her work is separate from any comment on her being a mother. I don’t think that her focusing on her children is coming at the expense of her other responsibilities. I think she simply doesn’t have much interest in those other responsibilities, period, and that’s a shame because at this point, her position requires her to focus on those things as well.

What you’ve written OceanBreeze really informs the reader your lack of knowledge on numerous issues. First, Kate’s job isn’t to be a stay at home mom. She has duties to the crown that she is expected to fill. Secondly, I doubt seriously that Meghan considers Kate a feminist on any level. Finally, Megan isn’t my “idol.” I like many, am waiting to see what she ultimately does with her role and platform. Instead of your insults you should become informed about the BRF and what a feminist in the 21 century really means!

      • Oceanbreeze says:

        Duties to the crown:
Keep the continuation of linage; check
        Patronages; check
        Engagements; check
Be a princess to the UK; check
I never said Kate was a stay at home mom. I said she chose to be a mom first.
Nobody in the BRF has a problem with her work schedule or she’d be doing more.
I never said Kate was a feminist, I said Megan was and the irony that she would find trolls who disparage her sister in law not somebody she would ever associate herself with.
Name calling? Smearing her sister in law?
Again, you can’t answer because you know you could never say any of the stuff you’ve written about Kate to Meghan’s face.
Don’t like my opinion? Don’t read it.

      • Casey02 says:

Once again OceanBreeze do you speak for the Queen and Meghan. Like the rest of us you have ZERO idea what is happening at BP, KP and Frogmore. We are all making assumptions. Stop presenting your opinions as facts. You don’t know what the Queen nor Meghan thinks of Kate’s work ethic. What is certain is she works very little and spends little time with her charities when she is on an engagement. Those are facts and can be checked. Finally, you responded on my post with your BS. Finally…please STOP speaking for Meghan, YOU DON’T KNOW HER!!

No where on the list of royal duties does it state procreate. Plenty of thrones go sideways, including the BRF one to QEII’s line.

She is just precious and the photos are lovely.

  45. TheMummy says:

Yep, she is definitely all Windsor. She looks like William and The Queen. I see no Middleton in her. She has Kate’s coloring, but that is also the Queen’s coloring when she was younger. She’s adorable!

  46. TheMummy says:

And she has that look Diana had where she sort of looks up from under her eyelashes, kind of doe-like. I have no idea how to describe that look. A combo of shy, demure, and mischief? I’ve seen that look in Charlotte a lot.

    • Ellie says:

It’s that head down, eyes up and shy smile look that Diana had and William has had forever. I’ve seen pictures of George doing it to, but Charlotte does it a lot more.

  47. HeyThere! says:

I see Will and the Queen!

  48. The Recluse says:

    Such a little charmer.

  49. Patty says:

She looks like a female version of young William. She’s a cute kid – it will be interesting to see how she changes as she grows up. Sadly, I think Will peaked in his early twenties.

  50. A says:

The most immediate thought that I had, looking at these pictures, is that she looks rather like Princess Anne. I think it’s just the way she’s looking at the camera. I do think there’s some William, but she doesn’t look like Diana to me. She looks like the Queen.

All that said, she looks like she’s spunky and rambunctious and absolutely delightful. I hope she had a great birthday.
