The idiot who is organizing this lives around the corner from me, near a very dangerous traffic intersection. At a public hearing 2 years ago, the state was proposing bike paths to slow traffic down, a reconfiguration of the intersection, and a traffic light. He was arguing against all of it, especially the bike paths. Instead, he wanted the speed limit increased. I now give his house the finger whenever I ride by on the new bike path.
Wow that is insane. I’d be afraid to live anywhere near him ! I really hope no one shows up to his stupid parade.

Not really, lol. I do what everyone does, which is stock up on bottled water, canned foods. try to fill up the gas tank before it’s too late. If you wait too long, gas stations sometimes run out of gas. I’m in northern FL, so it’s not as bad as south Florida, where they get hit frequently. Although after the last one, a lot of areas were devastated around here. But the way this one is projected to go, I think we’ll just get some heavy winds. Looks like its gonna hit south Florida and east coast the hardest. Hope you’re not in those areas. Good luck ladies! Stay safe.

Idk, I’m torn on that one. I admit it looks bad for him but part of that could look that way cause hes big and black and she’s a white woman. Just being real…I used to be crazy when I got hammered. I would want to get naked and do crazy things. He could have been taking her back into the room because she was running around naked. If I drank hard liquor, I would want to fight. It doesn’t necessarily mean he raped her. If you Google it, there’s a video with the judge explaining why she ruled the way she did. Like I said, I’m torn on it. 50/50
There was a witness who encountered them while they were naked whe the testified that the victim begged for help. That was the clincher for me
I didn’t know anything about that case, so I searched. oh my God. That poor woman! She runs away from him multiple times. She begs strangers for help. He literally picks her up and carries her back to the room! Horrifying. I don’t buy the “for her own protection” line. She was coherent enough to beg for help from a stranger.

Yeah, you know what? I want to take back my first comment. I didn’t want to jump to conclusions but that tape is pretty clear cut. And then everything else points to him being guilty. I was in a similar situation when I was 16. I was invited to a party at a hotel, got drunk and was assaulted. So I guess I didn’t want to bring my bias to it and make assumptions based on my own experience. But it seems very clear cut here. I listened to the judge’s reasoning and part of it was the girl left the bar with him. But that doesn’t mean she couldn’t have changed her mind about having sex or didn’t intend to have sex and she is clearly trying to get away from him in the video. I don’t understand how he got off. Doesn’t matter if she originally went w him, doesn’t mean she has to carry it through to the end. She still has the right to say no at any point.

She seems like a nice young woman and very cute but I always think she picks the wrong makeup and hair choices. She may like bright red lick stick as the very blond hair washes her pale skin out but she would be better off going slighter darker blond and mixing up her makeup choices.
