Kanye West ‘suffers on social media’ because his wife & other women are too sexy

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West head to a fashion event at Cipriani Wall Street

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out last night for the Annual Night of Stars Gala at Cipriani’s. Kim’s silver dress is not my favorite thing ever – the skirt is too long and her breasts look jacked to hell. Did she get them redone or something? Meanwhile, Kanye West looks completely bored AND pained. Maybe because his wife is “too sexy”? As we recently discussed, Kanye flat-out told Kim that her sexiness hurts his soul and he told her to, basically, tone it down and stop trying to be sexy and to stop posting sexy photos on social media. He truly spent years bragging about his porn-star wife and her body and how much money she made from being a bombshell though. This whole thing about Kanye negging Kim is about his newfound religion. And as he promotes Jesus Is King (his new album and movie), he’s been talking more about how he wants Kim to cover up:

Kanye West is addressing the comments he made over Kim Kardashian West‘s “too sexy” appearance. Ahead of the release of his new album, Jesus Is King, Kanye, 42, sat down for a lengthy interview with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe on Apple Music and opened up about everything from his spirituality and music to his troubling past. The rapper also discussed the comments he made on a recent Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, in which he bickered with Kim, 39, the night before the Met Gala after expressing his disapproval of his wife’s corset and Thiery Mugler dress.

“I suffer and I appreciate the suffering because we can feel a little bit of what Jesus experienced, but I suffer on social media,” Kanye explained to Lowe during the interview. “There are other married men that I know are happy to hear me say that. Social media prompts women, in particular, to put out content that they wouldn’t in the past. When I was younger and I wanted to see something like that I had to pay someone who was older … Now I have friends who have kids in high school and it’s readily available.”

[From People]

I mean… Kanye is talking about a lot of different sh-t all at once. Yes, girls and women spend too much time thirst-trapping on social media and the effects are overwhelmingly awful. But… this whole idea that men are suffering because their wives are sexy on social media? GTFO. Find a f–king balance between “my body, my choice” in all things and being genuinely concerned that social media is actually harming people, specifically young women and girls. Also: Kanye continues to make women’s choices about “how this affects the men who view women as property,” are you catching that?

Kim also said this week that Kanye got his way about North not wearing makeup – Kim was all for North wearing makeup and experimenting with her look, but Kanye told her that their daughters should not be allowed to wear makeup until they’re teenagers. Kim caved and now Kanye has a foothold in this whole “women need to dress and behave conservatively because of Jesus” conversation.

No one needs to suffer because he’s on social media. Delete all your accounts Kanye, then we won’t have to listen to your annoying, sexist bitching.

    • Wilady says:

I interpreted it as he suffers, as in he endures it, because he knows it’s her choice and that’s just how the world is now. Like he knows he can tell her it bothers him because they’re married but in the end it’s her decision and he will endure it. That was my interpretation, at least. He tends to use terrible wording.

They’re married. He’s allowed to change his mind about how something that once attracted him how makes him uncomfortable, he’s allowed to talk to her about it, and she’s allowed to change or not, and that’s what they did.

      • Ronaldinhio says:

That’s true but my experience, working with those who have survived domestic abuse, is that this is just the start. She will change subtly to begin with ….

      • Still_Sarah says:

@ Rinaldinhio : I second that. The negging and the criticism are the way a relationship begins to turn abusive. Their partners just get beaten down by it and give in to “keep the peace”. And when he sees her changes because of his emotional harassment, then he aims at a new target in her sense of self – her friends are toxic or her family is hurting their relationship by putting him down, etc. She starts shedding people in her life until he is the only thing left. When she is isolated, she is easier to control. So sad.

But I’m not sure if that is what we are seeing here. The K klan are infamous for generating controversy to promote themselves. And Kanye is not the most stable person, so strict religion may appeal to him as a way to establish a sense of control in his life.

      • Godwina says:

Yep. I never figured KK was in danger from him before, but this attitude is chilling. I worry about any woman’s physical safety when the men who “own” them (husbands, boyfriends, fathers) look at them this way.

    • Kath says:

Why the hell is anyone paying ANY attention to this slavery-apologist Trump supporter?

  2. teehee says:

Typical, men being a victim to their own foolery and blaming women.
Reminds me of those guys who made a video, explaining that all women on youtube are going to hell cos men masturbate to them.

So a guy offered to masturbate to their video, so that they all go to hell too.

    • otaku fairy.... says:

Yep. Women should not be expected or told to make sure men don’t experience desire. Kanye either doesn’t realize or doesn’t care how his message about a lack of female modesty causing ‘suffering’ (a patriarchal myth that’s still alive and well) is made even more harmful by his support of a man like Trump.

      • teehee says:

The funny thing is no matter what we do, how we do or don’t dress, men feel desire, and it often is dissonant from the object thereof, too.
We can wear head to toe coverage, but does the rate of assault go down?
        Nope.
So it never lies in our behaviors or appearances anyway.
Men have a constant state of “on” that they can’t control and are subject to. Thats not the same as being subject to the women around them, or women provoking them, but thy cant think that far, cos the blood is always elsewhere, so they are blaming us, in their oxygen-deprived states of mind.
Men are then also raised with lower standards to top it off, so they arent taught how to better understand themselves or deal with their feelings– so they carry on with this kind of kindergarten thinking…

  3. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I hope Kim goes naked crazy online quick, fast and in a hurry. A flurry of skin pics. A complete collection. Enough for a coffee table book.

  4. Kiki says:

    KANYE NEED PSYCHIATRIC HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Carol says:

Just a matter of time before she can’t stand it anymore.

  6. babsjohnson says:

I’ll believe an album is coming out when I’ll see it. What about Yandhi?

    • babsjohnson says:

Well, I stand corrected, it’s out and it’s fire as usual.
Kanye peaked but he will never be cancelled.

  7. MariaS says:

Kanye has always been a misogynist. His lyrics, congratulating Tyga on getting with Kylie while she was young, his slut shaming of Amber Rose, his comments about his own sisters-in-law… The only difference is that he’s now using the language of Christian Patriarchy. I’m no fan of culture vulture Kim but I hope she gets the hell away from him.

    • Anna says:

Yup. The usual shit. I heard this from brothers on the south side one of the times when R.Kelly was being brought to some kind of justice and it was all, poor RK, and then one brother went in on a sister in the room about her outfit and she was like, no fucking way, you will not be sitting here saying a damn thing about me, not today. Not saying Ye is RK but damn. That misogyny runs deep.

      • MariaS says:

Anna, that’s horrifying. I’m glad that woman stood up for herself, but it’s sickening that she had to! The victim blaming in the RK situation is depressing. I finally sat down to watch the documentary a few weeks ago and I had to stop it a few times and go for a walk. So many people knew and either turned a blind eye to it or actively facilitated it. Every time they interviewed his brother in prison I wanted to break something (he characterized RKs illegal acts as a valid preference). Accountability only happens when women fight for it.

    • SilentStar says:

All this from a man who called Kim his “Perfect Bitch”. Ugh!

  8. Char says:

Kris is already planning how to get rid of Kanye kause there’s no one to keep her kids from taking their klothes off and making kash.

  9. Slowsnow says:

Does he… know the family he married into?! Talk about cognitive dissonance.

  10. S808 says:

He was all about kim’s sexiness before and after they got married but know it’s an issue? Didn’t he re-do her entire wardrobe? Bye. This is who she was when he married her and he took part in cultivating her image. Her image that became her main source of income. He can’t expect her to change just because he did.

  11. Tiffany27 says:

His entire relationship with her is built off of her “sexy social media presence”. It’s crazy to me how certain men want the woman all the men look at, but then want her to become the Virgin Mary once they have her. That’s not even what attracted you to her bro!!!

  12. Valiantly Varnished says:

I give it another two years AT THE MOST before Kim leaves his ass. That’s all.

    • Slowsnow says:

But this gives her lots of media attention. And even Brad Pitt is now into Kanye’s church. And she doesn’t really have to behave like a wife with him, leading a perfectly independent life… I think she loves this. I’m not going as far as saying that she provokes this (that would be awful) but it definitely suits her. I’d bet on it.

      • Valiantly Varnished says:

Nah. I used to watch their reality show. Kim hates being controlled. She will be cool with it for awhile and then she will want out. And she will turn their split into a storyline and commodity. She won’t let him come between her and her image and money and what’s made her famous. Period.

  13. ariel says:

Well, we need Kanye at his best- everybody in hijabs!! I bet he’ll sell them at his jesus shows (anyone else thinking Kanye is into god b/c god made Kanye and that’s why Kanye thinks god is so great? God made ME- and I am AMAZING, see how great god is?!?!) Narcissistic asshat.

    • Valiantly Varnished says:

Do you realize how bigoted towards hijabi Muslim women your comment is??

    • dreamchild says:

Sounds more like he thinks he is God. This shit is sounding so cultish to me. Next he’ll be declaring everyone does and thinks just like him or they’re not woke or some shit. Outside looking in, this is scary stuff and thank goodness for Kris cause like her or not she is a boss and she’s not gonna let no one fuck with her babies.

  14. Ye says:

He really isnt mentally well. And he knows it but isnt following a treatment program, from what I gather? Its a shame really.

  15. Reef says:

Just last year, Kanye released, co-wrote, and produced a song called, “I Love It” with lyrics “You’re such a f_king wh0re, I love it!” and debuted the video on Pornhub. I would ignore him if I was Kim. He’s full of it.

  16. Elena says:

Just when you think Kanye couldn’t be MORE obnoxious. And all this while, all I’m thinking is… “this is just the beginning of crazy, because dude’s got a whole foockin album to promote.” Poor us.

  17. T.Fanty says:

Oh boy, did he marry into the wrong family, then.

On a less flippant note, it is worth observing that as Kanye has lost control – of his mental health, of his professional reputation, of whatever it was – he’s digging into a vision of Christianity that assured him of his right to control women. How very 2019 of him.

  18. Sarah says:

I mean, I think we’d all prefer to see a little less of KK’s boobs and crotch!

  19. Dorothy says:

Oh good he’s adding religion to his nutty snack mix of life this should be fun

  20. kacy says:

    Like sexier than him?

  21. Mel says:

Can they all just go to some deep, dark, pit somewhere and fall in ?

  22. Chaine says:

In other words, “back in my day, we couldn’t just see Kim Kardashian naked all over the internet for free. We had to set up an account and pay for her sex tape with a credit card just like everyone else.”

    • Lightpurple says:

That’s what I got. He’s jealous that he had to pay to watch pron and now kids can easily find it for free

  23. Angela82 says:

Not a fan of Kim but how does she deal with his insanity???

    • petee says:

Like all her men.She doesn’t live with them.I still think Reggie Bush was the one she really loved. He saw how her life was going and got the hell out of their relationship.

  24. Allergy says:

So, stay in your little room with no windows and computers and phones if life hurts you so. So sorry women existing hurts you and makes your tiny mind go wild.
And you know what, there are countries where women walk around covered from head to toe! In this hot black cape with only peepholes! Because the way they look naturally hurts men’s soul so bad! So perhaps relocate. Trump has friends who will find you a nice place.

  25. otaku fairy.... says:

    Run, Kim. Run!

  26. Kate says:

Kanye LITERALLY made Kim K what she is. Teaching her to only work with a select few, to show off “artistically”. That whole selfie book was for him and he said she should market it. He always encouraged her body and her look.. like look at how sexy my wife is. He’s said that. Over and over. And now that he found Jesus… full stop. Sit down. You can’t knock the brand you encouraged her to build. Also, if you think Kris Jenner isn’t about to lose her mind over this and ‘save the brand’ you haven’t been paying attention lol

    • Ennie says:

Sometime she’ll have to “retire” and let others like her younger sisters take her place, that is why they groom their daughters into their lifestyle. It makes them money, a lot. They’d like them to become a brand in the way Beyonce and Jay-Z are grooming their children to be.
Kanye is straying, tho. I thought he’d keep his /their children out of the spotlight when they wanted to include them in the show, I don’t really follow them, so I am not certain.

  27. Emily says:

Can men stop using their “religious beliefs” as the reason why they want to control women.

  28. Ennie says:

These comments of Kanye lately, remind me of those of Keith Raniere that told some his victims that if they liked or were with some other man, hurt him physically and spiritually, that he even bled from the hurt. 🤔🤔🤔
    It is so manipulative.
Even though I loathe Kim and her whole money hungry- body dismorphed family. This is weird karma. He is taking his extreme views to others around him, not only himself.

  29. Lala11_7 says:

I’m looking at some SERIOUS psychological issues play themselves out for ALL the world to see…and it looks…bad…so VERY bad

  30. ItReallyIsYouNotMe says:

I am an Evangelical Christian, but I am SO tired of people focusing on sex between anyone other than a man and wife / how women dress in the context of faith like it’s the only sin the Bible talks about. Our church made this point in a recent sermon, that American culture is obsessed with sex, but sex is only ONE of the sins. The fact that kanye is focusing on sex and leaving out any discussion about greed, gluttony, etc. shows that Kanye is immature in his faith and has NO BUSINESS trying to preach to others.

    • Kristina says:

So true. Sex is the easiest, most low-hanging fruit to go after. Now if he were to examine his family’s greed and gluttony… but that’d be hard and actually require that HE make sacrifices

  31. usedtobe says:

I have nothing more to say except that for the first time in my 41 years, I agree with Kanye not wanting his little girl to be wearing make up yet.

    • Lucy says:

Same. I tell my girls that makeup is something I do because I like it and it’s fun, but there’s no way in hell I’m letting my five year old play with more than lip gloss. (Also, my makeup is mascara and lipstick, the end).
Kids get sexualized so young, and I know North probably doesn’t have a chance of escaping that in that family, but still.

  32. Ceecu33 says:

My husbands a Muslim and we discuss stuff like this all the time. How many Muslim women cover up, but you never have to see it with men. Women can lust too, so why is it women are always the targeted ones? Why can’t men learn to control themselves? Women are taught at a young age to cover up so men don’t look, but no one ever tells men to just respect women. It’s exhausting and it doesn’t make sense to me.

On a side note Kim’s dress reminds me of Jiffy pop.

  33. k2scuba says:

Am I the only one who does not find Kim sexy? I just don’t understand her appeal when she tries so hard to be sexy and most everything about her is fabricated. What am I missing??

  34. everybodyisnuts says:

Now we know why Kim has been wearing those awful sweat pants constantly

  35. SM says:

Did he just compare him self to Jesus, as in crucifixion us equal to seeing your millionaire wife in bikini on social media? He needs to get treatment for delusion rather than go on radio expressing his delusions.

  36. ME says:

The fact that he wanted a son because he needed an “heir” tells me all I need to know about how this dude views women. Is North West not your heir you a$$hole ??? Also, I’m actually surprised Kim is such a doormat. She’s always saying how “Kanye forbids this and that”. I think she’s afraid of another divorce so she does whatever he wants. She wears what he tells her to wear, names her children whatever Kanye wants, decorates their house how Kanye wants it…so stupid.

  37. couiny says:

Have you read the rest of the interview? He also said that he dressed North as a baby hoping to outdo Rihanna as a style icon or something like that. He is basically saying he was comparing a little child to a grown ass woman and already wanted her to be a style icon. That’s why she wore all those lingerie dresses. So gross, dude has a LOT of problems. Between him and the kardashian, I fear for those little girls (and boys too). I hope North and Chicago become lawyers and have a great life and then publish a tell all book, lol. Sorry I’m not fluent in english, hope I didn’t make too many mistakes.

  38. serena says:

He fully went into bigotry and all of that, huh? Jesus has nothing to do with what he says (also he did compare his social media suffering to Jesus LMAO), and I hope Kim and the sisters tells him to stfu.

  39. MangoAngelesque says:

What’s next, him demanding that the women I his life say “Nike!” to him whenever a “provocatively” dressed woman is nearby, so he knows to quickly avert his eyes to his sneakers and avoid sullying his soul with images of all the unholy sluttiness in the world, a la the Duggars?

He has such a messiah complex now that the Madonna/whore hissy fits were inevitable. He’s so frakking exhausting, I cannot even begin to imagine what an energy vampire he is to those around him.

  40. Some chick says:

Oh, FFS. Kim looks just fine in these pics. (I also do not think the skirt is too long. The gowns at award shows puddling on the floor in the front are too long. This one is perfect for her.)

My only gripe is that the two metallics have different tones. I’m sure it’s on purpose, but, I’m not a fan. I also really wish the “wet look” hair would go away already! But, Kim looks FINE. She is on-brand. Kanye needs to shut his pie hole.

  41. Gorgonia says:

My comment is totally OT. Kim looks great in silver. IMO is one of the most difficult color to wear.

  42. Mar says:

Should we be expecting Kim in many more ensembles that look like a trash sack? The more material she wears the more squat she looks. She has no clue how to do “demure”

  43. L4frimaire says:

Kanye is a jackass and has been for a long time, His music was good but since Trump can’t stand him. Don’t like how Kim dresses but that’s her business and she’s a grown, extremely self-aware woman ( at least in terms of looks and image). Agree with him on the daughter with makeup. She’s just a little kid. But he’s still a jackass.
