Prince Harry & Meghan are ‘skipping’ Prince Andrew’s 60th birthday party, oh no

Britain's Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex (C) and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (L) stand with Canada's High Commissioner for Canada in the United Kingdom, Janice Charette, as they leave after their visit to Canada House in thanks for the warm Canadian hospitalit

I continue to be amused by how desperate the British media is to drag the Duke and Duchess of Sussex into everything. I mean, it’s horrible and disgusting and a good example of why Harry and Meghan left. But it’s also funny to see certain publications make asses out of themselves out of desperation. It’s really obvious. Did you know that Harry and Meghan won’t fly back to England to celebrate Prince Andrew’s big-boy birthday? OMG, can you believe it?!?!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not return to the UK to celebrate Prince Andrew’s 60th birthday – but will send a gift and a video message to be played at his party, a source has claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been residing in Canada since they quit as senior members of the Royal Family last month.

British media correspondent Neil Sean told Fox News it is an ‘open secret’ that the couple declined the invite to celebrate Harry’s uncle’s birthday.

‘It’s not very nice for the Queen as, whatever people say and think, [Andrew] is [still] her son and she wanted her close family around her,’ he said. ‘The reason given is that they already have commitments on the day but also plan to send a gift/card and a video message to be played at the party.’

[From The Daily Mail]

Andrew’s birthday is February 19th. Just FYI. And I seriously doubt that Harry and Meghan will send a video message, or a gift, or a card. They won’t even call. Because the situation with Andrew is also a prime example of why they left: the Queen doing the most to protect her rapist predator son, all while the royal family and courtiers threw H&M under the bus repeatedly. But! Did you know that Harry’s old friends are throwing him under the bus too? LOL.

Most people would fall over themselves to name a prince as godfather to their precious first-born. But ahead of the imminent birth of his child, Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip has rejected the opportunity of asking his childhood pal Harry to do the honours – and insiders are speculating it is because he and wife Lara are still smarting over the ‘hijacking’ of their 2017 wedding. The two men used to be inseparable, with Skippy known as Harry’s wingman thanks to their wild holidays together.

Harry was an usher at Skippy’s wedding to literary agent Lara in Jamaica but the couple now believe that Meghan’s presence – one of her first appearances with the Prince – unfairly took the spotlight off them. A source says: ‘Although they said they didn’t mind at the time, Lara and Skippy are now telling friends they are furious with Meghan and Harry because, on reflection, they believe their wedding was hijacked by their presence and their demands, including asking for guests not to use their mobile phones. It would have been fine were it not for the fact that they were then left off the list for the Royal Wedding evening reception a year later.

‘Some friends hoped that the birth of his first child would have been an opportunity for Skippy to extend an olive branch to Harry. But instead of asking him to be a godfather, he has decided to keep the door closed.’

To make matters worse, Meghan and Harry are love-bombing another of their old circle – Charlie van Straubenzee and wife Daisy – ahead of the birth of their first child. Another source adds: ‘Meghan has reportedly been sending Daisy some of Archie’s old baby clothes and has made it clear she or Harry would love to be called up for godparent duties. Lara and Tom can’t work out why another couple are feeling the love and they aren’t. Skippy bent over backwards for Harry.’

[From The Daily Mail]

I remember Skippy’s wedding, it was one of the first times we got photos of Harry and Meghan together, and it was one of the first “events” they attended as a couple. There were even (invasive) paparazzi photos of Harry and Meghan on a balcony (I’m going from memory). Anyway, it goes back to something we’ve heard (on and off) for the past few years: Harry culled his circle of friends. William did this too, only the conversation was about how “wise Kate” was helping William be more kingly and phase out his party-boy friends. Now this is being framed as “Harry forgot his closest friends when that bish Meghan came around.” Anyway, aristo dramz. I doubt Harry cares. And Meghan’s probably like “what’s a Skippy?”

good for them, why would anyone with any sense of decency want to be anywhere near Pedo Andy

    • Esme says:

I hope they send an inflatable doll as a gift, or something.
*Even thinking of Andrew is gross, I would keep an ocean between him and my family too*

    • bettyrose says:

I mean, Meghan calls herself a feminist but won’t party with a sex trafficking pedophile? At what point does the RF consider themselves lucky that Meghan wasn’t actually a spy for Interpol working to entrap Andrew? (Tho, OMG, how badass would that have been?)

      • Babz says:

I love that idea so much! I can just see her quietly and calmly arresting him, and he didn’t even see it coming!

    • Lucy De Blois says:

Andy’s birthday is a closed matter. Just someone being paid for or having some other interests would attend it; except the queen, of course, it’s her darling. That’s her problem.

And the party-friends, good ridance. I wouldn’t want my husband hanging around with that crew either. If he wanted to continue, he should have stayed single.

  2. I'm that person says:

    And so should everyone else.

    • TeamMeg says:

Amen~! And how about we start reframing “Since they QUIT as senior members of the Royal Family” to “Since they CHOSE to SAVE British taxpayers thousands of pounds each year!” —right?! (Wanting to escape/protect their family from the relentless, racist media attacks is enough reason for me. Hardly a case of “quitting” in the usual sense.)

    • And yet not a word in this article that the Cambridge’s are also “on vacation” this week and probably won’t attend. And do they really think the video message/gift is something that would be leaked from the Sussexes? I think the Sussexes are running a pretty tight ship these days. I think this is Fergie dragging the Sussexes into the mess for her own reasons. This sounds like something she is stupid enough to make up and push out there.

      • GuestWho says:

I can’t image what the video message would be unless it was just Harry flipping his uncle off with that patented “Harry stare” for a few minutes.

The stories coming out are so confusing – first it was a party, then it was downgraded to a small family dinner…which is it? I can’t imagine that W&K would be coerced into going, and I can’t see Charles wanting to attend either. Philip clearly isn’t going to be there. Who in the family, besides the queen, Andrew’s delusional ex-wife and his long-suffering daughters are going to be there? To be a fly on the wall…

      • YaGotMe says:

I thought we read a week or so ago that the whole damn thing was (rightfully) cancelled?

      • Lucy De Blois says:

GuestWho: Fergie can be many things, but delusional isn’t among them. Now it’s clear as water why Andrew kept her in luxury, living “separeted” but supporting her as a husband would do. Love??!! Hardly. Her pictures, no matter if they were divorced or not, would be a humiliation to any (ex) husband; it was splashed all over the world, for crying out loud. If she was having an affair or not is another story, the point is what the pictures represented.
I doubt very much Andrew (or anyone of the RF) is sooo forgiving.

Probably she has good material about him. Better than her pictures.

  3. TheHufflepuffLizLemon says:

    Good for them!

Someone had a good point on here a while back-that Harry realized how low-key racist many of his aristo friends were after getting with Meghan, and I wonder if that influenced the changing circle.

    • Harla says:

Oh I’m certain it did. Harry did talk about, gosh what did he call it, “unconscious racism” where your attitude/belief is ingrained from birth and mirrors those around you, close friends and family and it appears that Harry has been dealing with this discovery over the last 3+ years. I have a feeling that Harry did try to point these wrong attitudes/beliefs out to certain people in the hopes that it would open their eyes but it seems that many would prefer to move through the world with their eyes firmly shut so Harry did the best thing and just backed away from them.

      • February Pisces says:

Yep, harrys friends have accomplished nothing except for being born rich, white and aristocratic. Their privilege is be accident of birth. His friends are so far up their own asses they think even rich white (new money) is beneath them. As if they are going to treat a biracial woman who has actually worked and earned her own money with respect. I don’t think Harry realised how bad his friends are and probably brushed off their racism in the past. But knowing that they could be making comments about his own wife and son, he’s not gonna stand for it. The aristocracy is pretty much done, celebrity and new money has taken over. Progression is the end of the aristocracys relevence, hence why they cling on to their outdated views so bad.

    • Harry’s ‘friend’ Skippy has been running to the press since before the Sussex marriage about: his non-invite to the evening reception, to Harry being led around by the nose, and to various comments about how Meghan has ruined Harry. One of those early stories, printed right after the Sussex wedding was about Meghan forcing Harry to drop all his friends and the comments the reporter used were all anonymous except for Skippy. Skippy’s name was used and he was quoted and his quotes were pretty nasty. I remember reading this and thinking, good for you Harry — sometimes you just grow up and know it’s time to leave the hard partying ARISTO FRAT RACIST boys behind if they won’t respect you life and your wife. Whatever happened between Skippy and Harry, Skippy is very bitter and very disloyal about it and doesn’t mind anyone knowing it; thus his name being used instead of simply being ‘a source.’

      • ravynrobyn says:

        EXTREMELY astute point!

ETA-meant to post under your next (previous??) comment, sorry!!

      • Mary says:

Yes, @JA, and Skippy still does not understand why Harry was put off by his telling Harry not to marry Meghan, go figure!

  4. Guest with Cat says:

Does the Daily Mail expect anyone to be outraged if they skip Pedo Andrew’s birthday? Or that anyone cares that some aristos would be fine, then think a bit, then not be fine that two people more famous than them got more notice at their wedding than they did? That’s such an odd story anyway. DM really doesn’t know what to do now that Harry and Meghan have slipped their royal leashes. I see someone trotted out Tom Markle jr again. Even people claiming to hate Meghan were annoyed on her behalf about that.

    • The weird thing about Skippy’s wedding was Harry and Meghan were still pretty below the radar. I have seen a story that Skippy — and some of the other guys in Harry’s posse — didn’t like what they were seeing going on between Harry and Meghan at that wedding. The article stated that many of them were drunk (as they often are) and that some things were said to Harry and Meghan at that time to try and get Harry to see “he was going down the wrong path.” I think Harry started seeing his own behavior more clearly and becoming aware of just the sort of people he was associating himself with even if they were long standing school mates.

      • Guest with Cat says:

Wow that’s some seriously delicious tea! Harry can have the last laugh that in finding a true quality partner he was finally able to easily separate the wheat from the chaff in his life. And apparently not all the toffs are a lost cause. He still has that van Straubenzee fellow. That’s nice. I would imagine he’d want to hang onto some friends who understand his background firsthand and share some old stories.

But I’m going to give dear Skippy the benefit of a doubt because I do believe he and his wife attended Archie’s christening. OOPS, no I read a caption wrong. Still, maybe the tabloids are pulling stories out of their butts again. Their desperation is palpable.

  5. sunny says:

Hahahaha. Of course they aren’t. Things with the family are hella messy and I doubt Harry and Meghan want to rack up frequent flier miles to celebrate a pedo… also let’s not forget that he is also a racist. I can attest it is pretty exhausting to spend time with your white partners’ family when you know they hate you and people like you bc of the colour of your skin.

More power to them for skipping this and frankly the British press continues to look petty, desperate, racist, and ridiculous to anyone with eyes and a brain.

    • kerwood says:

@Sunny, sorry to hear about your in laws. I commend you for showing more grace and dignity than they seem to be capable of. I hope your partner appreciates what you have to endure and supports you.

      • sunny says:

Not my in-laws(thank god), never married that partner, but I have been there in the past.
        Thanks for the supportive comment

  6. (TheOG)jan90067 says:

Sure, he’s been Harry’s friend, but let’s blame the WOMAN for Harry’s decisions. Perhaps HARRY outgrew his friend? Perhaps HARRY didn’t like Skippy (*snort*) and his wife taking sly digs at him and Meg (we all know those kinds of “backhanded *compliments*” where you’re really being insulted, not complimented)… we don’t know. But what we all DO know is no one needs “petty” in their lives, esp. when the “petty” is decided to be felt and delivered OVER TWO YEARS after the fact. H&M are better off without “friends” like that. Prime “leaker” material.

    • anon says:

      Exhibit A:

“I love your hair! Who’s your stylist?”

    • Olenna says:

The tabloids (including Tatler) reported that PH kicked Skippy out of his close friends circle because Skippy advised him not to marry Meghan. Supposedly, that was the reason for him not being invited to the reception, but who knows.

      • paranormalgirl says:

and why should that person be invited to a wedding they are clearly “against”? Sour grapes are so unappealing.

  7. Aims says:

Nobody should ever blame them for not wanting to hang out with his pervert uncle. That to me is a no brainer. I can only talk about myself here. When I had met my husband my priorities changed. The friends that I hung out with, no longer shared the same interests as I. I wasn’t the good time girl anymore and so friendships changed for me. Maybe that’s what happened here. It isn’t anyone’s fault. People grow and change.

    • Harla says:

I think Harry grew and changed but many around him did not, including members of his family, hence the distance between him and William.

    • BeanieBean says:

Exactly. I see no expectation for anyone to attend an uncle’s 60th birthday party, particularly if that would entail a plane flight to another continent. Those tabloids are really reaching.

  8. Ronaldinhio says:

I’m amazed HMQ hasn’t banished Andrew to Mustique for a year or two. Dreadful judgement on her behalf.
It will only get worse and The Duchess of York has shady deals a gogo at the moment which look suspiciously fragrant

    • I'm that person says:

      What’s Mustique done to you?

Any deserted island will do (for A and his ex-wife), the worse the weather, the better.

      • BarbN says:

Well, there’s an island off the coast of China called Shedo Island, aka Island of the Snakes. It’s infested with some 20,000 pit vipers.
But that might be a bit too cruel…

    • Amy Too says:

I think the queen just wants her favorite child around her in her declining years and DGAF about how it looks. She’s the queen, she’s 1,000 years old, and she wants what she wants. And what she wants is her favorite baby boy around so they can mutually coddle each other and gossip about everyone else in the family. That doesn’t make it right and I don’t agree with her decision, but I think she’s just being super entitled right now.

      • Who ARE These People? says:

She is, but then, she’s always been super-entitled, hasn’t she? As there’s no mass protest or PM with a level head, she can’t be forced to face reality as she was with the death of Diana. The current government is probably delighted to have some royal drama to distract from what it’s doing.

      • (TheOG)jan90067 says:

Age shouldn’t equal entitlement OR a pass, like a get out of jail free card. She is supposed to be the Supreme Head if State, upholding all its rules, morals, and values. Excuse me, but I didn’t see protecting a Pedo listed amongst those said rules, morals or values.

She has pretty much trashed HER reputation as far as I’m concerned.

      • The Queen is also head of the Church of England.

    • minx says:

He’s TQ’s favorite. It’s not that she’s unaware of the optics, she just doesn’t care because she’s, you know, TQ. She wants what she wants.

  9. Cidy says:

They would never go because they are decent people who are more than likely disgusted by him.

  10. carmen says:

Looks like the rest of the fam is standing by Andy no matter what. I wonder if his daughters truly believe he’s innocent of all this, if it’s wilful blindness or they know the truth and simply don’t care…

  11. Coz' says:

1 – Oh no you don’t say, Harry and Meghan are not crossing a continent and an ocean for the birthday party of their rapist/arseh!le uncle???? How shocking!
2 – What kind of self respecting grown man still goes by the name Skippy.

    • paranormalgirl says:

My husband had a friend named Skip (real name was Edward). And Skip’s wife was called Bunny (real name was Amy). No kidding. Skip was an overgrown frat boy and Bunny was…. Bunny. We no longer associate with them. I backed off first because, SKIP AND BUNNY? Then Skip said some terribly classist things and my husband backed off.

      • Coz' says:

I am shocked, SHOCKED!!, to know that a Skip could ever say anything classist. Especially Bunny’ Skip 😏

  12. girl_ninja says:

It’s smart for Harry and Megs to keep that circle TIGHT. I’m guessing that some of his and her old buddies have shared information about the Duke and Duchess is it’s press. They’re making a new life and need to cut some frayed ties from the past. And by frayed ties I mean raggedy ass “friends” who talk too much.

  13. Lala11_7 says:

I’m waiting on what H&M’s response will be regarding attending…THE WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That’s when I will TRULY know…what is what….

    • VS says:

I think they will attend. I wish Meghan would never set a foot in Britain ever again but she is a professional. In my opinion, she should minimize the amount of time she spends in that country; once they achieved financial independence, they should only visit their patronages. I don’t think Meghan will ever not visit the Grenfell ladies; she seems really attached to them BUT…………..a country where mediocrity is preferred to excellence is not worth her time or the time of anyone except those force to live in it

    • S808 says:

They’ll go. They’d make the news either way but it’ll be a even bigger debacle if they don’t. The Sussexes have also proven to be a good distraction from Andrew.

    • GuestWho says:

In my heart of hearts I want them to avoid that wedding like the plague. However – should they go, I really hope M is obviously pregnant and Andrew’s head explodes because of it.

    • Capepopsie says:

I think they will go too! I really think pappa should be held responsible for what he did, and his daughters shouldn’t be punished on his behalf. It is HER day, let her enjoy it. Besides Harry is said to be close to the sisters. I do so hope we can ignore that disgusting man, and let his daughter at least enjoy her wedding day!

    • Dee says:

They have to go so the rags can publish what they think Meghan’s dress and shoes cost.

    • Calibration says:

The only problem with them attending is the BM will make it about them, spin it that Bad Meghan is stealing the spotlight etc and it will take attention from the bride and groom. They can’t win either way.

  14. ShazBot says:

Tom and Lara should be MORTIFIED by this article. How embarrassing, they sound absolutely ridiculous.

  15. Seraphina says:

Everyone should boycott and put PA in a social timeout.

  16. Tourmailne says:

Skippy and His Wife obviously have very loudly and for quite some time been voicing their displeasure over feeling shafted at Harry and Meghans wedding. They probably have been prime sources for the storyline of Meghan Changed Fun Harry and Froze His Buddies Out. For them to still act affronted that they are banished is rather rich.

  17. Golly Gee says:

Yeah, they’re sending Andrew a DIY chemical castration kit to celebrate his birthday. Oops! I spoiled the surprise.

    • adastraperaspera says:

Absolutely! That the hero Alan Turing was actually subjected to the punishment of chemical castration by English courts is unforgivable. And a lowlife like Andrew, taking money and favors from people undoubtedly trying to weaken his country, is never even made to show up in court to answer charges. Truly sickening.

      • Some chick says:

        So. Much. This.

They eventually apologized to Turing. Do you think they’ll apologize to Virginia G and the others he victimized?

So much for the Land of Hope and Glory. I guess they’ve still got Glory.

  18. Aa says:

IIRC Skippy was one of the chief friends who Harry used to get in to trouble with. Royal commentators for years said Harry should drop him as a bad influence. Now that Harry finally did drop him suddenly they’ve changed their mind about poor Skippy.

    • Yes, this is what I’ve read too. I’m not excusing Harry’s past behavior or his own bad choices, but Skippy was definitely an enabler. He has always had a reputation — that he seemed quite proud of — as a hard partying, risk taking, crazy pranking, heavy drinking leader in that group of super tight old school chums of BOTH William and Harry.

    • Unchatenfrance says:

They did not apologize to Turing. Turing committed suicide in 1954, a year after undergoing his “treatment.” The government apologized… In 2009.

  19. S808 says:

It’s been THREE (3) years why would they just NOW be upset??? They made their choice and the Sussexes made theirs. And if they wanted to make up whining to the press isn’t the way to go.

  20. lisa says:

    wow he’s only 60?

  21. GuestOne says:

I thought the Queen had cancelled his birthday party? Guess that was fake news- Epstein was apparently entertained at the palaces even after he had been arrested so they won’t stop a little scandal from entertaining the Queen’s favourite. I wonder if taxpayers will be upset about expense of party (whether they pay for it or not) etc in time of austerity? Silly me that’s for mixed race royals only.

It’s interesting as when they got engaged Tom Bradby said Harry’s friends had been urging him to marry Meghan quickly. But then there came the ‘Harry’s friends have been banned’ stories etc (remember when press claimed she had banned him from everything including tea? The days when the press was just silly not outright nasty). Wondering how if Skippy was a source for those stories.

Emily Andrews said him& Chelsy were upset not to be at the evening wedding reception. Funny how him and Guy Pelly were previously reported to be bad influences who his family wanted him to drop.

    • GuestWho says:

I remember when there were tons of stories about Chelsy not being invited to the evening reception – and people were saying how sad it was because she’s always the life of the party!! I mean, what bride WOULDN’T want an ex-girlfriend at her reception being the life of the party.

      • There were also Daily Mail stories out there that Chelsey’s phone call to Harry right before the wedding was anything but two old friends wishing each other well. The story stated that Chelsey was drunk and over-the-top hysterical begging Harry to back out of the wedding. Then a follow-up call where Harry personally explained to her why she was not being invited to the evening reception where she again got extremely emotional. (I remember thinking it was a good call on Harry’s part because an emotional Chelsey drinking too much at evening reception might lead to unpleasantness and who wants that at their wedding. Perhaps Harry made the same decision about excluding Skippy.). Anyhow, I noticed then that the DM storyline was quickly changed to Chelsey just calling Harry to wish him the best and how awful Meghan and Harry were to shut her out of the reception. Then, right after the wedding, the DM reporter with photographer just happened to run into Chelsey sitting outside some local cafe having a very ‘loving and happy’ meal with her very dear boyfriend and that she was very very so over Harry. Also, the article went on to provide very specific details and website about her new career as a jewelry maker. Someone was sure spinning something with that photo op and I think it was Chelsey. I remembered being amused with it at the time, because Chelsey has always liked to use the press intrusion as the reason she just couldn’t stick it with Harry. And yet it seemed she had gotten the DM to back off story where she came off looking bad for her giving them access to her for a story or two in order to change the direction of the narrative to wonderful Chelsey blissfully going on with her lovely life and poor deluded Harry ending up with bad Meghan.

      • Marie says:

@Ja Lowcountrylady I have always heard how horrible Harry and Chelsy were as a couple. His friends and family were waiting for him to wake up and finally dump her for good. They were always fighting and she liked to play games with him. I’m glad he finally woke up. I never bought that she didn’t want the royal life. Harry has shown he WILL leave the royal family for you….

      • GuestWho says:

@marie I recently read an article that was published around the time Harry broke up with Cressida (2014-ish). It laid out how the courtiers used the press to tear down Chelsey’s reputation because she was “unsuitable” as a wife – meaning she was actually smart and wouldn’t be a doormat like another young Windsor wife, and that they wanted Cressida because she wasn’t (supposedly) as bright or as independent-minded. It was sick because it was a roadmap of exactly what they did to Meghan’s reputation. So I don’t honestly know what to think of Chelsy…
It was a startling read knowing what we know now.

      • Babsorig says:

Of course we will never know exactly what happen(ed)s behind their closed doors. But what has been widely reported is that there were several break ups and make ups between Harry and Chelsy and Harry and Cressida. And at none of those times did Harry ever renounce his position in the royal family, not at any one time did the media stop hounding him and all that. So to claim that media scrutiny was the reason these girls (now women of course) never wanted to marry Harry is, to me at least, beyond ridiculous. I mean, they took him back (and him them) every single time they all messed up and never did any media coverage ever relent. I’m not disputing the stories that the courtiers played a role in trashing Chelsy, but what I’m saying is that Chelsy herself was not a saint. And I believe they broke up because they all realised they weren’t in love with the other. I’m sure they loved each other but they were never truly in love. It could also be that Chelsy family (her father in particular) themselves were not so keen on her being with Harry for fear of all their crap being exposed, so there’s that too. Of course we will never know what would have been had Harry proposed to either of Chelsy or Cressida but IMVHO, Harry never proposed to any of them because he just was not trully in love with any of them and was not ready to settle down and I believe none of them (the girls or Harry) wanted to get married at the time.

      • pottymouth pup says:

was it Chelsy’s best friend or Cressida’s that posted “I wish Harry married [whichever one it was] instead” on twitter right after Sussexit was announced? Sure, I believe these folks aren’t butthurt they’re no longer in the inner circle

      • Marie says:

@Pootymouth Pup. No, she isn’t a close friend. She worked in a play with Cressida but that is it. She also HATES Meghan so that is why she said it. I highly doubt Harry ever proposed to Chelsy or Cressida. I heard it wasn’t even serious with Cressida.

I mean this is a pr disaster.

  23. KellyRyan says:

Heh Heh Heh What’s a Skippy? Video, card and gift? H&M learned early, self-protect from both crazymaking and crazymakers.

  24. Amy Too says:

“Love bombing”!? Seriously? They’re using a term that is used to describe what abusers do to get their victims to love and trust them to describe Meghan doing normal friend things with her friends. She’s sharing baby clothes. Maybe. We don’t really know, I don’t know who would actually leak that. But to call it love bombing and frame it like Harry and Meghan are evil abusers trying to manipulate people into being the victim of a domestic violence relationship is insane. Can you imagine what words would be used if we found out Kate was sending old baby clothes to one of her friends? It would be all about how generous and kind she was and how excited the friends were to receive some of the super stylish baby clothes that real live princes and princesses have worn! “How exciting! Kate has the best taste in baby clothes and everyone thinks George, Charlotte, and Louis are some of the best dressed children in the realm, with their impeccably made, timeless and classic outfits reminiscent of a bygone era before fast fashion. Now, the daily mail has learned, that Bunny and Schooner Bradenbury III’s new baby will be dressed like a Prince as he sports some of Prince George’s baby hand me downs.“

    • Oh Amy Too. 😂😂😂

    • Calibration says:

Amy too, daily mail readers decided that Meghan was a narcissistic abuser who captured frail, mentally scarred Harry by love bombing him. This narrative started before the wedding and there were all these comments on articles about it. Even so called experts calling Meghan abusive and narcissistic. The Fail is deliberately using this language again to further enrage the dullards that read it that now Meghan is weaving her ‘dark’ magic on his friends.

  25. anon says:

Meanwhile, the Federal Bureau of Investigations is pressing on with its international investigation into claims against HRH Prince Andrew the Pedo. That the British royal family is not only *having* a party, but crypto advertising it as a “family gathering” is truly tone deaf and disgusting.

    Yeah, no. Hard pass.

  26. Anonymous says:

Attending Beatrice’s wedding is not the same as skipping Andrew’s birthday party. The York girls didn’t chose their parents.

Skippy and Chelsy sound like characters from “White Mischief”. Best to avoid them when wanting your interracial marriage to work.

    • You’re right Anonymous — That whole ARISTO crowd sounds like the portrayal of the aristos in White Mischief. That film sure had those Happy Valley aristos dead to rights. I got interested in that story and have read 4 – 5 books about that group. That upper level strata of British class system are really raised in a very insular bubble of a belief in their white privilege. They all go to the same schools, intermarry into the same class, and seem to have no interest in anyone outside their little world. That is one group that knows how to circle the wagons.

    • KellyRyan says:

Slight disagreement. Beatrice and Eugenie are women not girls. If a Prince can leave with dignity and grace they have no excuse for remaining.

  27. Sofia says:

Skippy and Lara should have known that the press goes crazy for Harry and now Meghan. Doesn’t matter when it happened, people would focus on them. They’ve both been in the royal circle long enough to know that.

And I think Skippy still think Harry is the same guy from Vegas and is pissed that he’s growing up while Skippy and the other royal aristo friends desperately hold onto their 20s

  28. Awkward symphony says:

Yuck! I googled the guy to see who it is and my I’m not suprised!! Just looking at him I can see how smug & self entitled he is! I mean does he think bashing harry’s wife would get him a pat on the back or something?!! These aristocrats are so out of touch with reality and cant see how bad it makes them🙄
I’m glad harry has Nacho. He is the BEST brother & friend anyone can ask for.

    • Well, I could see where Skippy et al could think they could bash Meghan and still be friends with Harry. After all, this is the same group of friends that bashed Kate for 10 years and William didn’t really jettison any of them or if he did it didnt last as several years after Cambridge marriage he still goes off on ‘boys only’ ski trips and hunts, etc with them. We’ve all seen photos or read about William’s continued timeouts with these same guys.

  29. kerwood says:

Not going to a sex offender’s birthday party is an indication of morality. Sucks that the rest of the royal family fail that test.

What a shame that people who call themselves ‘friends’ of Harry, miss the days when he was photographed in Vegas with his dick in his hands. You’d think they’d be happy that he’s found sobriety and love but toxic enablers will stay toxic.

And what kind of grown man calls himself ‘Skippy’?

  30. Faye G says:

Another day, another new low for the British royal family. If this is true then the queen needs to be stopped before she wrecks her own monarchy. Anyone with half a brain can see that this is just a deranged idea and the royals are parasites upon society. I hope Harry and Meghan have a brief laugh over this while continuing to live their life in peace.

  31. Chica71 says:

There were reports in NY Post yesterday that the AG on the island where Epstein had his house that Andrew was seen openly groping girls. Slow drip is not over

  32. kerwood says:

If I’m reading the article correctly, at the time, Skippy and Mrs. Skippy said it was okay for Harry to bring Meghan to the wedding. But now, three years later, they’re ‘furious’. Then isn’t that on them. They are adults, right? It’s obvious Harry asked and they said yes. They probably welcomed the media attention it would give their wedding, because who the fuck is Skippy?, but I guess they were counting on STAYING in Harry’s inner circle. They must have thought that Harry would follow his brother’s example of being a married man but continuing to act like a single man (Rose who?). Skippy didn’t understand (or care) that Harry’s hard partying was a symptom of his pain and the emptiness he felt. Instead of rejoicing for their friend and growing with him, Skippy has decided to stay in the same place and try and get media attention by badmouthing his former friend. Looks like Harry made the right choice.

    • 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    • Bren says:

The invite gave Harry’s friends an opportunity to check out Meghan up close and personal, but I don’t think any of them thought for a second that Harry would marry her. At that point, Harry and Meghan weren’t year into their relationship and they were extra careful to not get caught on camera, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Skippy or another friend from the inner circle that called in the paparazzi. Maybe between the media intrusion and pointed behavior by the inner circle, they were hoping that would be enough to chase Meghan away.

  33. A Guest says:

Supposedly, ole “Skippy” was one of the folks who spoke “on background” to Tattler for last year’s articles.

  34. Le4Frimaire says:

This article is peak silliness and desperation. Any excuse to throw the Sussexes into the mix. They were never going to Andrews party, even if they were right next door. The only video message would say “ you owe us big time for shielding your pedo ass”. They don’t want to cause environmental damage by flying in and they have better things to do with their carbon footprint.. The British press is running on the fumes of Sussex stories.

  35. Amaria says:

Good. Then again, I’d love to be invisible and watch that trainwreck party, especially the queen raising a toast to her Little Pedo Hero Andy. Robert Altman would make a great movie out of this.

  36. Marie says:

I have always thought Skippy was a shady friend. I associate him with Harry’s party days and seems to be an enabler. Harry has grown up and Skippy seems to miss “Party Harry”. I’m glad he has cut some of his shady friends out

  37. Jaded says:

It’ll be a party of two – the Queen and Prince Pervert. I can picture it now…them in their little party hats, cake and tea. Fun, wow…

In other news, it appears that Peter Nygard (famous Canadian fashion designer) is facing a class action suit for hijacking young girls to HIS Caribbean island getaway to rape them and guess who was a visitor there? None other than Andrew. The noose tightens…

  38. Rianic says:

I think they will be at the wedding, but I’m not sure they will ring Archie to England with them. They can use the excuse of how hard the time change would be on him.

  39. MsIam says:

Skippy sounds like a real wuss. Like that shady so-called “childhood friend” of Meghan that went around bashing her in the press. I wonder if Skippy gets paid for his yakking or if he does it for free? As for Andrew, yeah who did not see H&M skipping anything to do with him? If they go to the commonwealth service, they are probably hoping not to have to sit next to him.

    • Skippy’s is a wealthy Aristo So I doubt its about the money for him. It’s about being iced out of Harry’s life. About thinking he was so important to and needed by Harry that he could say whatever he wanted or behave however he wanted when it came to Meghan. This is one bitter ex-friend. I agree, that childhood ex-friend of Meghan’s sure plays the same broken record as Skippy.

      • GuestOne says:

Skippy has definitely been quoted directly& Piers Morgan also did an article about meeting one of Harry’s old friends& this guy saying he had been dropped because of Meghan. Don’t believe the meeting as it’s Piers& he’s probably going on second hand info but likely Skippy has been speaking to a few reporters. Daily Beast also had a quote about how some of Harry’s ‘friends’ are glad to see the back of him now he’s become all ‘woke’. Could see that coming from Skippy too or someone who probably couldn’t get away with usual micro aggressions anymore.

I thought it was so bad how the cameras zeroed in on Chelsy’s reactions during the wedding- so unnecessary. So can understand her staging that ‘I’m not bothered’ make out session. But sympathy was low after people were posting racist comments about Meghan on her Instagram& saying he should have married her which she was leaving up whilst deleting comments defending Meghan. If he was even aware of that not sure how Harry could remain friendly with people like that.

      • Marie says:

@Guestone I remember the Instagram moment. It was right after Euegenies wedding. It really showed her true feelings and she clearly isn’t over Harry. She gets zero sympathy from me, I saw those comments on her Instagram and her leaving them proves how racist she is. I do wonder if Harry ever knew of it, she eventually either deleted the post or turned the comments off ( after a full day).

      • lili/lirael/whatever says:

I don’t think she was racist. I think she wouldn’t like M. or anyone Harry married. She was a lawyer, probably more intelligent than Kate but Kate got a saint edit and Chelsy was regularly trashed. I feel for her because Harry probably was the one who got away for her.. But can you imagine what the press would to do her if she married Harry. Chelsy knew it.

  40. aquarius64 says:

Harry may have dropped these so called friends because they showed their racist behinds to him and Meghan. And if Skippy is running to the press he was never a true friend to Harry.

Andy’s birthday may have the Cambridges. He showed up to Kate’s birthday. If they don’t show up it shows division in the ranks.

  41. A says:

At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is in fact the Queen shading anyone and everyone who wants to stay away from her stupid pedo son lmao. She must be feeling awfully bitter given that no one wants to spend time with her if she’s going to be spending time with Andrew in tow. Cue the sudden passive aggressive lamentations about how, “Oh, but we’re FAMILY, you can’t even show up for your FAMILY by flying 8 hrs and coming to the 60th birthday party of a person who defended his friendship with a notorious pedophile??? Shows how much YOU care about FAMILY.”

I’ve been thinking, and I’m honestly quite annoyed that The Crown is going to be ending a season early, and won’t be covering any of this sh-tshow. It’s very likely that they’ll probably be treating the Diana stuff with an extremely light hand also. It doesn’t strike me as if they’re going for a very nuanced representation of the monarchy, let alone Liz, by avoiding the possibility of having to show her at her most narrow-minded worst. A good set of writers wouldn’t be afraid of tackling that, Peter Morgan’s understanding of nuance seems to be only about covering the Queen’s projected sense of stoicism and not the reality of her opinions, which she makes quite plain with her actions.

  42. MeghanNotMarkle says:

I think them not going to the party was a given. This is much ado about nothing. Who in their right mind would *want* to be there???

  43. Coco says:

How surreal is it that these aristocrats and their hangers on put so much energy into gossip about who will or will not attend a grown-ass adult’s BIRTHDAY PARTY?

  44. June says:

Well, I won’t be attending Andrew’s party either. Have to wash my hair.

  45. It's a dry heave says:

I guess Harry and Meg don’t want to fake their amusement when a young teenage girl pops out of Prince Pedophile’s birthday cake.

Aside from that, wouldn’t an American subpoena with a big red bow around it make a great birthday gift?

  46. Jezebel's Lacefront says:

It looks like Harry and Meghan continuously illustrate the sickness existing in the aristocracy. I applaud them in their work because the latter are toxic reptiles.

  47. JRenee says:

That there will be a big party for PA with the current situation speaks loudly of indifference.

  48. carmen says:

I wonder how many invited guests will show up to this gong show. Seriously, the company you keep says a lot about you as a person and Andy’s friends – if they value their own reputations – will likely think twice….

  49. Deeanna says:

Oh dear. According to the Daily Mail, so many people have declined the invitation to Andy’s party that invitations have now gone out to a “second tier” of invitees. Wonder if any
    of them will show up?

    • aquarius64 says:

Not surprised some of these people gave a hard pass. It shows Andrew only had “friends” because he has HRH in front of his name. It makes you wonder if anyone will show up to Beatrice’s wedding. The BM definitely will report if people turn down that invitation.

  50. lili/lirael/whatever says:

Am I the only one who feels for Chelsy?

  51. Lili says:

Ok I apparently am the only one, I get it.
