Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went away on a short vacation, just the two of them, for Valentine’s Day. Then they traveled to Chicago for the NBA All-Stars game (Team LeBron won) and sat courtside. Kim wore this bonkers outfit – orange-brown leather pants and a coordinated puffy jacket, which she kept on throughout the length of the game. How cold was it at the venue? And Kanye kept his sunglasses on the whole time, because he’s cool, okay? Anyway, while they were there, Kim and Kanye were put on the Kiss Cam and look what happened:

It just reminds me that I’ve never really thought that Kim and Ye have any physical chemistry together. They don’t seem hot for each other, he doesn’t seem particularly engaged with her physically, and he doesn’t want to LOOK like he’s into her at all. That being said, the way he looked at her when she kissed his cheek was a little bit cute. They’re so awkward together! It would be cute if Kanye hadn’t tried to talk about Kim like she’s the sexiest woman ever. She’s not! At all.

They’re such a weird couple. I think maybe because they were friends first, they still have that kind of dynamic rather than a sexual one. I feel like she has to act as his babysitter/crisis management person a lot. And he looks at her like a Barbie he can style rather than his partner.
All that said, there is something about Kim than I like. I think IRL she’s much more awkward and shy than people realize.
I caught his early guest appearances on Keeping Up, and when he was pursuing her, they definitely had chemistry. I don’t doubt it’s fizzled somewhat (/mostly) since then, because yes she is constantly having to babysit him, but it did exist at one point.
But, if he loves her, awkwardness, etc aside–she IS the sexiest woman alive to him.
Lol! Yeah, I have always believed their marriage was more of a empire building baby factory than a romance for the ages. I don’t think they like each other “that way”.

That’s because chemistry is possible only between humans who are alive. Kim is plastic and Kanye is basically dead inside replaced by some version of chaotic AI pilot programming that won’t be installed in other humans due to the multiple defects.

Kiss-Cam Protocol (if you are paying any bit of attention): Camera pans to you and you KISS your partner. Kanye just looked kind of dazed and confused …until he smiled.
My brother and I got shown on it at a baseball game once, and that was SUPER awkward. The stadium will boo if you don’t kiss, lol! I think he finally kissed me on the cheek and they went away. Just because a man and woman are sitting beside each other, it doesn’t mean they “like-like” each other, people!! And yes, I realize that my anonymous tale of brother-sister peer pressure is very, very different than that of famous married people being caught on the kiss-cam! 😉

It’s actually cuter than I expected- it looks like he was trying to “pose” by keeping his face serious, and her little kiss caught him off guard so he had a genuine reaction with the smile.
I think of Kim like Mariah Carey- the packaging is marked SEXY, but the person wearing it doesn’t have any of the earthiness or naturalness to be sexy, so the whole thing comes off as weirdly…sterile? In part because the way she dresses and styles herself really inhibits her range of motion and freedom- she could barely reach his cheek because that stupid coat was in the way, and then could barely kiss him because of mussing all the makeup.
That said, I do think there’s genuine feelings between them- I think he loves her and needs her for support and stability, and for whatever reason she seems to be committed to him too. He’s done enough crap over the last few years that she could have left him and the public would have been largely behind her, but she didn’t. Maybe it was all calculated, but I think she feels something for him- love or responsibility, I don’t know.
Wow this just summed up my thoughts completely but in a way I was unable to verbalize. +10000. It is such a weird sterile kind of sexiness
