Senator Elizabeth Warren canceled her campaign last week. She hasn’t made the decision to endorse anyone, and I don’t mind that at all. Let her mourn her campaign, give her a moment and she’ll eventually endorse someone and it will be fine. Until then, Sen. Warren decided to go to New York and make an appearance on Saturday Night Live. She did the cold-open segment:
It was great! Also great: Senator Warren decided to do the “flipped the switch” Tik Tok meme with Kate McKinnon. They were dressed the same (and Kate wore her Liz Warren wig) and they danced and it was super-cute.

So all of this is just sweet and bittersweet and let’s all just enjoy Elizabeth Warren as a person, right? Wrong, according to… bros. According to a lot of men on the internet, Elizabeth Warren appearing on SNL is a Bad Thing because something something she needs to endorse Bernie Sanders. When Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted that the Tik Tok was “legendary,” she got mansplained by her fellow Bernie Sanders supporters about why she and Elizabeth Warren are both awful. So, that’s where we are. The Sanders supporters honestly believe they can spend months harassing Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and now even AOC and that all of their harassment will magically turn into endorsements and support for their guy. And don’t even start about the Warren-specific criticism of the Tik Tok. It was super-cute! That’s it.

Yep – got a lot of Bernie Bros on my FB and they all insist they are nice guys – but do stuff like this.
Though I do know hardcore Bernie ppl even here in Canada can I remind everyone that it’s known that Russia is also backing behind Bernie again this election? Everyone seems to be forgetting that half of these “hostile Bernie bros” could actually be Russian trolls, fanning the flames. Russia isn’t expecting Bernie to win, they just want chaos. These ppl are everywhere and could even be on here, even though we like to think our favourite sites are safe, they aren’t.
They sure are. I find myself angry that Bernie is even running again because he must’ve known this would happen.
I’m not against what Bernie stands for at all. I want many of the things he’s striving for. But we were never going to jump from Trump to him. All he’s doing now is creating party division when we need to be unified in our choice to beat Trump.
It’s not just men. “Bernie Bros” include women. They are equally adept at telling you that if you don’t support Bernie that you clearly want everyone to die without healthcare.
And I’m glad Warren did SNL and the TikTok with Kate. She deserves to have some fun. The SNL women were lining up to embrace her at the end of the show.
Yes I was just going to say that. Many women that are “ not like other girls” are all over Twitter mocking anyone who said Bernie fans are rude and too aggressive. Apparently Bernie invented free health care, and so anyone questioning him wants everybody to die. I can’t stand this election and we still have 8 months to go.
Yup, I was just about to comment the same thing. “Bernie Bros” has really turned into a gender-neutral term lately as I saw an equal amount of women attacking Warren yesterday.
But the real Bernie Bros in my life? All men.
That one woman was absolutely obnoxious about it on Twitter yesterday and kept screaming that it was a distraction we couldn’t afford.
This was funny! Of course Bernie’s supporters attacks her. They attack anyone who doesn’t bow down to their hero. They are all over Kamala social media attacking her too ( and no doubt will do the same to booker now that he’s endorsed Biden). It’s weird that they feel entitled to people like Kamalas endorsement after they spent years vilifying her. And did the same to warren the minute she posed a threat to Bernie or disagreed with him in any way. It’s a shame that Bernie surrounds himself with such questionable toxic people ( I am talking surrogates and staff not just supporters ) because I actually like most of his platform. If it came in a less white centric, less sexist less cultish I’d be voting for that platform. But I am not gonna trust someone who hires senior advisors who displays sexist and racist tendencies. I hope warren doesn’t endorse anyone.
Warren was the best candidate and the most progressive. Sanders just takes her ideas and does it one better, she has tax on those making 50 mil, he comes in with tax on those making 39mil and all the idiots jump on board. I was soooo disappointed when AOC and Ilhan and the other one supported him.
Anyone watch Fiona Hill on 60 minutes last night? She was asked why Russia likes Bernie, she said “he’s just like 45, only the opposite side, and it’s easy to get their base riled up”.
When are we going to STOP dividing and UNITE? Why is it necessary to be cruel because one complimented a competitor?

Our primary is 3/10 and I’m tempted to vote for Warren anyway. My brother (who IS a nice guy!) in a far off state is encouraging us to vote for Bernie. I’m still on the fence.
