Produce saver sheets, a serum with super greens and a v-neck sweater

AmazonDogBlankie
We got a really nice email from a reader who bought the dog blankie that Hecate included last week. He wrote “I bought that little pet throw you noted in your product links a few weeks ago. At first I didn’t like it—it feels cheap/synthetic/lightweight—but OMG, my 7-year old terrier laid claim to it immediately. He loves making a little nest with it and then flopping down for a good nap.” That’s so sweet! I love terriers. I haven’t bought anything new from Amazon in like a whole week but I’m sure that will change soon, as I just found all these new awesome things.

I could use those produce saver sheets. I end up throwing out so much produce.

I’m getting those produce saver things. I use those produce container things, and I have been using paper towels too for salads, so it will be interesting if this works better. I will say, bagged salad is hard. I try to “deal with it” as soon as I get home from the store, which is to dump it all in a large tupperware or one of those produce containers that is lined with paper towels, and that works pretty well. But it’s such a pain in the butt! Once the leaves get too wet, they’re done though. Arugula is hard. I just remembered that I got some on friday and it’s probably ruined now. Buying romaine lettuce heads is a better plan, they seem to last a long time if they aren’t cut, and you can be a lot less gentle with the full head. Strawberries are annoying because around here they are always sold buy one get one, or similar, and I end up with a bunch of strawberries and they go bad super fast. The best way to try to keep them fresh is to separate them, but it will be cool if these things work without that. I hate having to transfer so much of my produce into other containers, but doing it has really helped keep them fresher longer.

You can see I feel strongly about this, lol 🙂

Strawberries… AND MUSHROOMS! I eat mushrooms in truckloads. It’s as though they’re my meat. I don’t know what I’d do without fresh cilantro, basil and shrooms lol. And there’s nothing worse than throwing out expensive produce, SO, I’ve been putting my air fryer to task and dehydrating batches of produce and storing in mason jars. It doesn’t take long and who doesn’t love dried fruit lol?

      • manda says:

ooooh I never thought of that!! Anything you have had better/worse luck with?

      • Mabs A'Mabbin says:

I’m so in love with air fryers, there’s nothing they can’t do lol. I’ve ‘boiled eggs.’ Dehydrating is super easy and so far, everything I’ve done is great but fruit doesn’t last long because everyone eats. I haven’t tackled jerky yet but it’s next on the list. I’m excited about building stores of dried mushrooms though.

We have those kitchen tongs and they are amazing. They last and last.

  4. AnnaKist says:

I want all these things. We’ve had tongs like that for years, but they’re looking rather tatty. I don’t know if the magnet thingy would fit in the power sockets in Australia, but I still want to try. Bag everything up for me, please. And thank you.

  5. OuiMelissa says:

    More hair products, please!

My hair is growing but I hate that a little of bit stays in the comb when I’m combing it.

  6. Sankay says:

I love v-neck tops and the sweaters are really nice. I do wish they had the argyle in stock as I adore argyle as well.

  7. waitwhat says:

Oh man, those produce sheets! The tongs!! Got those and the serum. You read old old waithwhat’s mind with these!

  8. Antonym says:

The key magnets are fantastic! We’ve been using them for a few years now and love them. We always know exactly where our keys are.

  9. Alsf says:

On Thursday could you link your trash bags again, and I’ll buy that day?

I’m also looking at two things: teeth whiteners that won’t hurt my gums too much (been looking at pens) and strong, daily sunscreen for a humid climate for use on top of the serums/lotions – maybe just replace my expensive powdered sunscreen, boo. I’ll happily use your affiliate links.
