Beauty Influencer and entrepreneur Jeffree Star seems to be in the news of late for either being embroiled in internet drama, saying racist sh*t or having questionable business dealings. In August when many influencers boycotted his brand, Jeffree decided to prove he wasn’t as racist as everyone says by showing off his new very Black boyfriend, Andre Marhold, on Instagram.
In a now-deleted Instagram story video, Jeffree accused Andre of stealing some very expensive designer goods from him in the midst of their very messy and “public” breakup. They were together about a whole month. Le boyfriend has denied the accusation in his own Instagram story post

The YouTube star claimed in since-deleted videos on his Instagram Story that over a week ago he learned Marhold had “presented a whole different person than who this man really was.” As he put it, Marhold “played” him and had “no job, no money, not even a bank account.” Marhold has denied the allegations.
“All these things that I was told were all false,” Star claimed, adding, “I was lied to and I was like, ‘OK, bye sweetie. It was really good knowing you. Thanks!'”
He conceded, “Now, I know. Jeffree, you can just rebuy it. I’m not complaining about no value, no money—it’s just a principle. I don’t care if someone steals a nickel off your counter, it’s wrong.”
Following the accusations, Marhold took to his Instagram Story to write, “Jeffrey blocked me [laughing emojis] y’all this man lies thru his teeth! Sad bruh (crying emoji).” He also added, “Jeffree unblock so we can talk about this on LIVE so the people can see how you lie!”
Come again Jeffree? You’re not a racist but the first thing you do when you break up with your Black boyfriend is to accuse him of stealing from you and being a lying deadbeat? Something’s not qwhite right about that. If it is true, I do hope he gets his property back. But Jeffree’s track record and dealings tells me he is creating yet more drama about something that most likely didn’t happen.
Like I said before, if Jeffree would do the work and stop being a sh*tty person, people would give him the benefit of the doubt. But I don’t think that self-reflection will come any time soon. I wish luck to both Andre and Jeffree, but I hope in the future, people will see this situation and others as it concerns Jefrree as cautionary tales.
This whole situation was sooo messy. Andre had a girlfriend and child who found about his affair and sexual preferences via the internet. This is honestly just desserts for Jeffree bc he was laughing about the girlfriend’s pain lol

Consensus FWIW at the beautyguruchatter subreddit when he announced an upcoming video to reveal his new bf was that he went looking in a hurry for a black bf to try to counter the backlash he was getting for racist comments.
Someone on reddit commented that with the frosty blue hair he looks like James from Pokemon. I laughed and laughed because he totally does.

Uh here is the whole scoop-
-Jeffree accuses his new boyfriend of stealing and posts stories to IG/Snap about it
-the other day, Insider published an article of Jeffree Star threatening a homeless boy with a taser in 2009 then forcing him to have oral with him after giving him Ambien. There are three other victims as well. He allegedly paid everyone hush money.
-Jeffree Star’s new boyfriend posts to his backup IG that Jeffree Star is on HIV drugs (the photo of which was pulled from Google and made to look like a real photo,) claims Jeffree cheated on his ex-boyfriend and that’s why the ex-boyfriend left, then claimed he paid his ex to be gay. Then he asked his followers report the account as fake (even though he had screenshots showing Jeffree Star was watching the IG stories.)
-Meanwhile Jeffree Star took down his IG.
It’s weird that the messy boyfriend story came right before the Insider story broke. Especially since the guy is lying about the HIV drugs-the picture anyway. It could be a ploy for Jeffree Star to distract and gain sympathy. Or both stories could be really happening and the new boyfriend is a liar and thought nobody would be slick enough to realize the photo of the HIV medication is from
Google.

Those people followed him when Youtube and Instagram succeeded Myspace. He leveraged that following into a makeup brand and had the luck to do it at a point when makeup sales were hot. He watched who else was hot in the space and did collabs with them sometimes.The ecommerce and social media are interwoven at all times. Sort of a trashier version of the Kardashian business model.
Yeah I did a photo shoot with him when he was touring his music in small clubs in England. it was a fun shoot, we did it in a sex shop. I think he agreed, because he liked the idea. He was very professional – more pro than me, I was only a hobby photog.
