Did her voice sound different to anyone else? I couldn’t tell if she was just hoarse from using her voice so much during the week, or if something else was off.
I think it’s just transitioning from speaking to singing voice, plus, it’s really hard to adjust the audio production simultaneously for both actions.
That was a cute sketch. The show overall really wasn’t very funny, but Adele did a good job.

She had issues with her vocal cords and had surgery I believe. Plus her change in her size would change her voice, gives her less “space” in her mouth and chest to sing
I’m a speech pathologist and that’s not true. If anything losing weight makes it easier to sing (even decreases snoring at night).
She looked good but the Africa sketch? Damn. Could not believe someone: A. Thought it was funny. B. Put it on the air.
