Duchess Kate & William did Zoom calls with servicemen & women overseas

The Duke Of Sussex Carries Out Green Beret Presentation

There are still some questions, in my mind, about who leaked the initial story about the palace snubbing Prince Harry’s request to have a wreath laid at the Cenotaph in his name. The original story appeared in the Sunday Times, and it was carefully worded. Was the original sourcing from courtiers at Buckingham Palace? Perhaps, especially given the pains those sources took to say that the Queen had not been informed (which I don’t believe). But the cruelty of the story – denying Harry’s request, then leaking it – definitely had a Cambridge flavor to it, right? Did Willileaks strike again, and did he simply do a better job of covering his trail?

I’m also asking if William and Kate are responsible for the Harry-wreath debacle because they’re sort of acting like they are? They did separate Zoom calls with servicemen and servicewomen overseas, and there was a lot of talk about the support they get from the Royal British Legion. You know, the same British Royal Legion which made a $1400 wreath for Prince Harry and the royals refused to place it at the Cenotaph? It certainly feels like William and Kate are trying to crash every one of “Harry’s things” and claim them as their own.

Anyway, you can see Will and Kate’s videos below. I didn’t even watch William’s honestly. I did watch Kate’s, just to hear her fake posh accent. Kate’s tragic ‘80s-style silk-satin blouse with a Peter Pan collar is from Ghost. The shoulders are notably awful too.

So for all the DM comments/Piers Morgan complaining about Harry and Meghan showing their respects because they brought a camera man, well, what does Kate go and do? Her photographer was standing so close to take these photos, yet she’s not even wearing a mask. Why is it ok for some to bring a personal photographer and not for others? And, someone did point out that it looks suspiciously like Meghan’s room with the couch in front, like Kate is copying her yet again.

    • Ginger says:

Kate also has a photographer take photos of her having a Zoom call. No complaints from the press sayings this is total PR.

    • Elizabeth Regina says:

On a serious note this is getting so creepy. This woman needs help. Cosplaying/copying aside, she does not look right. Even Diana at her most unhappy, did not look this awful. The signs are so glaring but the press would rather take pot shots at other members of the family. These zoom calls achieve nothing and make no tangible impact. It must eat at them everyday knowing that they are seriously losing the credibility battle. Beyond the UK, they are not highly regarded. Such a shame when all they have to do is stop the petty stunts.

    • yinyang says:

It seems William’s wife can get away with anything at this point.

    • yinyang says:

Harry had cameras to show UK that he was there in spirit. I don’t know why they take everything and turn it to something evil, really tells a lot about them.

    • Tessa says:

Also publicly with cameras talking about a child’s deceased father. Meghan would have been trashed for this but Kate is practically given a Nobel Prize by the stans.

  2. Belli says:

It’s only a blouse, but it’s so much more. It’s shiny, it’s got puffy sleeves, it’s got a contrast scalloped collar, it’s got gathering, it’s got buttons…

    • Jo73c says:

      …it has everything!
Why do this grown woman’s clothes all look like costumes from the dress-up box?

      • Osty says:

Exactly everything including kate in it . Besides the woman loves everything from shoulder pads to millions of buttons

      • Sarah says:

Yes. My exact first thought on the header pic, I can almost smell that musty dressing up box smell I expect it to have. The clothes you find in the box and assume no-one ever wore seriously!

      • Babz says:

The thought just crossed my mind – was she going for some kind of 1940s WWII theme? That blouse, from the style to the fabric, screams 1940 Britain during the Blitz. If she’d done her hair ala Veronica Lake, or in the pompadour updo popular in that era, she’d have been right at home in a remake of Mrs. Miniver! I tend to not get into discussions about her fashion choices, because I’m a 67 year old retiree who pretty much lives in pjs or yoga pants since retiring in 2014. But sometimes, the comments just write themselves. I got such Evita Peron on the balcony/Cruella DeVille vibes from her on Sunday, and now this choice…there is something seriously going on with this woman, and her face broadcasts it to the world. All is not well with the chatelaine of House Cambridge.

    • ArtHistorian says:

It is too busy – Kate needs to learn that often “less is more”. The blouse is ghastly.

    • My3cents says:

That blouse is like a really bad photo from the 80’s family album. One that everyone has and is too mortifying to let see light.

    • Mustlovedogs says:

Sailor cosplay veers dangerously into the piratical. All she needs is a stuffed parrot on her shoulder.

    • Nic919 says:

Someone compared it to a “Gordon Gartrell” shirt worn by Theo on the Cosby show and it kind of fits.

    • Tessa says:

I can’t help thinking of Jerry Seinfeld’s pirate shirt with all the ruffles.

  3. Becks1 says:

Kate’s new “zoom room” is such an obvious copy of Meghan’s that I almost feel sorry for her, she’s so pathetic at this point. Strategically placed pillows, plants, the framed pictures are visible, etc. considering the Cambridge’s have tried to show as little of their home as possible over the past 8 months – yeah this is obvious. And Kate’s outfit is tragic.

As for the calls – that’s fine, it’s a good thing to do, but it certainly feels off in light of the Harry/wreath debacle.

    • S808 says:

The fact that the photos are only ones that have been officially released screams staged to me but it could be a coincidence.

      • BayTampaBay says:

99% off all BRF photographs are staged.

      • CC says:

The Cambridge stans were attacking Meghan for her book collection because they were so woke, now Kate was a whole bunch of family photos in place of the books. Coincidence? Nah. They probably knew comparisons will be drawn, and the average clueless person will see Regal Decor with Family Photos.

    • VS says:

The RF should let this woman develop her own personality…..who was she copying before Meg?

This is so blatant; W&K copying H&M so…………….well, H&M are setting standards I guess

      • Florence says:

@VS – Diana. RoyalDish posters nicknamed her “IAMDiana,” lol.

      • JT says:

H&M have been setting the standard since their engagement, that’s why W&K are mad. They cannot skate like they used too in their one sided competition. And for what? The RR don’t even care. They’re praised for everything so they don’t even have to show these things. They’ve taking so many many pains to zoom in front of the wall and now we get to see a pillow. Lol. They are so transparent. And guess what? Nobody cares about their decor. People were searching for H&M’s photos, their crystals, people even zoomed in on their coffee table books and found them. Harry and Meg’s decor was a story for over a week. This is w&k trying to creep in on H&Ms market but fail because only hardcore royalists love them and only because they’re white. Pathetic.

      • anotherlily says:

She has probably reached the limits of personality development. There wasn’t much to start with. Her Middleton upbringing taught her to value social status and money and to restrict her social life to the well-connected and wealthy. The Middletons are a deeply enmeshed family and this will have stunted her personality too.

Cambridge PR has over-reached itself. 2020 began with announcements about the Cambridges’ exciting new projects which would establish them as leaders. This turned out to be the Earthshot Prize for William and the 5 Big Questions survey for Kate. Kate’s survey failed to gather enough interest and has been mothballed. The Earthshot Prize has been launched. Its impact remains to be seen.

As the Covid crisis developed Cambridge PR announced that William and Kate would be leading the nation in responding to the crisis. In view of The Queen’s great age and Prince Charles being over 70 William would step up and emerge on the world stage. This has been followed by speculation about Charles stepping aside for William to take the throne after The Queen.

As the end of the year approaches it is clear that Charles is effectively Prince Regent and the Cambridges have been kept in their place. It was Charles who travelled to Kuwait to offer condolences following the death of the Emir. It was Camilla who opened the Field of Remembrance, Charles and Camilla who apeared, and spoke, at the Festival of Remembrance, Charles and Camilla who attended the Armistice Day Service at Westminster Abbey. It is Charles and Camilla who will travel to Berlin for Germany’s National Day of Mourning.

The Cambridges might have expected to be included in the Festival of Remembrance and the Armitice Day Service. There is usually a full turnout of senior royals for these occasions. It is a clear message that Charles and Camilla are leading the nation and representing the UK on the world stage and that the Cambridges are understudies with a lot to learn.

      • Tessa says:

If the Cambridges have been put in place by Charles which I doubt. Why did Charles let the wreath fiasco happen? And why isn’t he arranging to let Harry and Meghan do part time duties.

      • anotherlily says:

        In reply to Tessa.
l’m not sure what the wreath fiasco has to do with it.
Harry and Meghan are in the US. There is currently a pandemic which means they cannot travel to the UK.

The point being made is about the Cambridges and the claims made at the start of the year. They were going to ‘step up’ and ‘lead the nation’. They had dynamic new projects and would be at the forefront of the royal family. This was just their PR. It hasn’t worked out that way. It’s clear enough from looking at the Court Circular that Charles is fulfilling the role of a monarch. William and Kate should be supporting Charles and Camilla, not trying to compete with them.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

I agree and as others down thread have pointed out, the hair and makeup are also Meghan cosplay but this is what Kate does – she cosplays any woman she sees is a threat to her position. I won’t get into the Diana cosplay as that is some screwed up sh!t.

Her foundation game is up there with Trump – maybe not as orange.

  4. S808 says:

The new setting 🤣 they need to cut Meghan a check at this point.

    • JT says:

They really do. But it also shows how good Meghan is at advertising in a sense. She knew the zooming in front of the wall was becoming stale, so she gave them something to talk about. She showed a little bit of personality in their decor because she knows people want to see just a smidge behind the curtain. It was the same with the Sussex royal instagram; she saw what could be done better, did it, and all of the royals follow suit. And now Willnot and Cannot look like stalkers.

      • L84Tea says:

H&M should start zooming in all different spots–the kitchen, the backyard, etc–just to watch W&K try to keep up!

      • Becks1 says:

Remember when they were on a bench and then the Cambridge’s were immediately on a bench and people told us it was NBD and Kate wasn’t copying the Sussexes 🤣

  5. ABritGuest says:

Nice of the Cambridges to do this call in time for Remembrance Day (and Veterans Day in the US). Kate seems to have dyed her hair darker- it looks glossy.

I think wreathleak came from a courtier. As much as the family suck I do think there’s been a power vacuum since Philip retired, Geidt was dismissed & with the Queen being older and think the courtiers are running mad & enacting personal revenge. Eg when Harry was prevented from speaking to the Queen about stepping back plans seems that was a courtier running interference.

    • RoyalBlue says:

absolutely. the men in grey are steering the ship.

      • kelleybelle says:

        And very badly, at that.

      • Lemons says:

@kelleybelle, The competent ones are already working for the gov’t or in a cushy private sector job. Working for royalty doesn’t have quite the same aura to it now that the empire is dead, the Queen seems senile and won’t let Charles reign, and the FFKQ are dullards with no passion for work or knowledge.

Only the fools are left. And they are running the ship.

      • kelleybelle says:

@ Lemons, I’m afraid you’re right. I can’t disagree. Bill ‘n Buttons have all the personality of a ping-pong ball besides. Kate only did this because it was expected. I don’t classify Zoom or Skype calls as work, sorry. Seriously, after all the cruelty and nonsense that the RF has displayed over the last four years towards Harry and Meghan, and protecting Andrew, I would love nothing more than to see everyone boo them at their next balcony appearance. I really would. It might finally drive something home to them.

    • Lady D says:

Like Arkham, the inmates are running the asylum.

  6. Cerys says:

A nice idea but should have been backed up with some real appearances today. Charles, Camilla, Edward and Sophie were all out at actual events. No sign of the Dolittles.

    • Nic919 says:

It’s pretty disgraceful to not step out on the 11th. That’s the actual day of remembrance around the world and it’s not like either is so busy they can’t attend.

    • BayTampaBay says:

Has anyone seen Princess Anne working about?

As much as there are times I do not like her, I find Sophie growing on me due to her work during the pandemic.

I think Charles & Camilla may be in Germany for German National Remembrance day. The D&D of Cornwall do not seem to take long breaks like the Cambridges do, they just keep on ticking.

  7. Sofia says:

I have nothing to say about the call itself. This is pretty much a typical engagement so *shrugs*

The blouse is fugly however. I’d be happy if she never wore this again

  8. Amy Bee says:

If it were the Cambridges who leaked the story it would have been the Daily Mail with the exclusive not the Times. This story comes straight from the courtiers at BP as they made sure to say the Queen didn’t know about the snub. I think the Queen and Charles knew. I can’t blame the Cambridges for doing additional engagements involving Remembrance Day. They have to pull their weight now because they got rid of the Sussexes. I was surprised that William wasn’t at the Field of Remembrance event but maybe next year.

    • Als Em says:

Didn’t the story about PWT no longer throwing his hands over his brother came with the Times’ reporter that he met in a pub?

So this leak can come from Kensington.

      • Amy Bee says:

That Prince William Times story came out the day before the meeting at Sandringham in January. The actual comments were made in October at William’s mental health event to an editor at the Times. Athe time, William was probably talking off the record because it took so long to come out and when it did come it was described as comments made to a friend not the editor of the Times. Exclusives that come from KP are usually given to the Daily Mail and the Sun. When Kate wanted to refute Omid’s version of the Meghan made her cry story she went to the Mail on Sunday. If BP wants a story to come out they always go to the Times first and then further clarification of the story is given to the Telegraph which is exactly was happened in this issue with Harry.

      • Rebecca says:

The “friend” and “the editor” are the same person.

William gave that quote directly to that person, which is why The Times threw it on their front page, with William in uniform and Harry in civilian clothes, despite Harry being the actual veteran.

The editor later admitted it, but the reporter who wrote the article never explained that, despite knowing the editor was the “anonymous source”.

  9. Lilwah says:

    Bye bye summer highlights apparently.

  10. Harper says:

Kate has a sconce growing out of her head. The blouse and the mall department store decor is astonishingly bad.

    • Yup, Me says:

I noticed that. Zoom Set rule #1 – it shouldn’t look like anything is growing out of (or perched atop) the head or shoulders of the presenter.

  11. Digital Unicorn says:

The call itself is a good idea and something that should be done regularly but you know this will be a one off because they are trolling a certain couple in sunny California.

Kate’s makeup game is tragic – they eyeshadow under the bottom eyelash makes it look like her mascara ran from crying and you can see where she hasn’t blended properly around the forehead and cheeks. Plus that shirt – someone is going all out to cosplay the 80s with a shirt and collar like that. The shirt would be been good on it own with out that awful collar.

  12. Osty says:

Kate should stop shopping in the queen’s wardrobe cos her blouse is ugly . For sme who has a dresser, tons of money n so much time on her hands its always painful to see the kind of clothes she wears . No wonder most places she shops always fold up , cos no woman in this century will wear the clothes they produce except kate
Also kate really should drop that accent cos it makes her sound so ridiculous , she smts sounds like sme who isn’t English or English isn’t her first language
Also she should stop with the botox cos it looks like she is going over board with it and very soon her kids wouldn’t recognise her

    • mytwocents says:

and not just the accent but she couldn’t put together one sentence! There was a, uh and almost a mistake and just horrible over all. Why does she not get proper training? It’s embarrassing to listen to.

    • Nic919 says:

To be fair to the Queen I don’t think she has worn Peter Pan collars since they were in style in the 60s.

    • notasugarhere says:

The Peter Pan collars are Diana from the early-to-mid 80s.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Even Diana evolved out of that Peter Pan pouffy look and developed a real style. She worked with the editor of Vogue, she worked with designers, and she found HER look. Kate is permanently stalled in a look that stops being appropriate in your early teens, or is appropriate after the age of 60. Not much in-between.

Oh, she hit a *couple* of home runs (that gorgeous teal backless on the wedding trip to LA, the black pants, blazer and white T getting off the plane, I liked that yellow dress (with the white underlay) she wore in Australia, when said PWT called her a banana (SO charming! 😜), when she wore she wore that gorgeous one shouldered white gown to BAFTA), I mean, as they say, even a broken clock gets it right twice a day.

      • Elizabeth Regina says:

Oh my goodness. I think I’ve just made the connection. For the past few days the Diana documentary has been on British TV. In cosplaying her mother in law, she might be trying to send some subliminal messages to the wider world about HER suitability as queen consort.

      • Lady D says:

I thought that the lilac coloured gown she wore to dinner in LA on her honeymoon trip was the prettiest dress I’ve ever seen her in. I really liked the yellow-white one too, plus a white one with a few blue flowers on it was also gorgeous.

      • Dee says:

Her fashion hits happen when she doesn’t have time to alter or do a bespoke design.

      • BayTampaBay says:

I liked the Jenny Packham gown she wore to the EACH Gala at the Rose Garden.

      • notasugarhere says:

That was a separate dinner fundraiser, not the Gala itself. She refused to go to the Gala a few months later, which is why they had to rope in Ed Sheeran.

  13. Florence says:

My mind is blown. The copying of Meghan is now fully freaky. Kate was always at a desk before, wearing her granny dresses. Now she’s on a sofa? Wearing monochrome work wear??

Worse – why is she wearing foundation that is too dark for her?? It’s actually disgusting now. She is trying to BE Meghan.

    • Larry says:

Also – the hair. The side-parting and very smooth blow-dry rather than the usual pouffy, curly style is…different?

    • K.T says:

Lol, it is really freaky. It’s like a zoom decor/styling version competition like how they bought Instagram followers to compete with Sussexgram. The copying always a freaky pastiche because she doesn’t seem to have confidence in design or fashion or something.
Giving her ideas: Kate should do another photo remembrance but this time pics by veterans. That’s her alley & better strategy!

    • goofpuff says:

Oh dang. I can’t unsee it now. She is wearing either a foundation too much darker than her regular skin (I can see the demarcation) or waaaay too much bronzer to look darker. That is pretty creepy when taken with the rest of the Meghan cosplay.

  14. Paperclip says:

    The eyebrows!

    • Eating popcorn says:

I came here to say this, she is a beautiful YOUNG woman with all the money in the world. She needs a new stylist. Between the most recent McQueen coat dress & this blouse, she seems to be cosplaying The Hunger Games.

      • Babz says:

Thank you! I posted upthread that I was getting Evita Peron/ Cruella DeVille vibes, but felt like there was something else, and it’s The Hunger Games! Especially those balcony photos. Holy crap…they were downright malevolent. I expected to see President Snow standing menacingly behind her.

    • Amy Bee says:

One looks higher than the other.

      • notasugarhere says:

Because one of her eyebrows *is* higher than the other. She’s always had one brow that is flatter, one that is more arched. Like many people, Kate has an asymmetrical face. One half of her face looks like Carole, one half like Pippa.

  15. yinyang says:

I wish I could afford those clothes and jewelry. Anyway did she get fresh fillers around her laugh lines, she looks odd when she talks. I love that first picture, haha.

    • kelleybelle says:

You can tell when she talks that there is lots of Botox involved; her lips don’t even meet properly.

      • CC says:

This reminds me of Kylie Minogue doing a posh british accent on Graham norton, she said the trick is to not let your lips touch LOL

  16. Beach Dreams says:

She’s clearly gone overboard with the Botox…again. Maybe it’s just me but it seems like she’s had more frequent top-ups than usual.

    • Kalana says:

Yeah, she’s had another round recently and it hasn’t settled yet.

    • yinyang says:

It’s laughable KP denies botox, look at Brittany’s pic beside hers on the Celebitchy home page (and even I doubt Brittany would lie about ever having used Baby Botox). Kate uses full on Grown Adult Extreme Botox, nothing Baby about it, and denies it lol.

  17. Lauren says:

I’m sorry but I cannot get over what Keen is wearing in those photos. What the f is she wearing?! Why?!

  18. Kalana says:

Did Kate pay an interior decorator for that look? If so Ben Pentreath owes Kate a refund. I think it looks like Kate’s work though, decent pieces but terrible arrangement.

I thought their home was supposed to look like a 4 star hotel?

    • Digital Unicorn says:

Rumour has it that it was/is Carole who did/does all the interior decorating in the DoLittle’s homes. Kate really can’t do anything without Mummy.

      • kelleybelle says:

Mummy guided her every step of the way in chasing William, too. Carole has even admitted in an interview to “putting quite a lot of work into this,” meaning snagging William. I almost feel sorry for the poor bastard but he was the one who chose to settle. No one else was interested.

  19. Beach Dreams says:

The shirt itself doesn’t look too bad on the model on Ghost’s site. But once again Kate manages to create an incredibly dowdy/generally awful look.

    • notasugarhere says:

You have to have presence to carry off that kind of style and make it stylish vs. laughable. She doesn’t have presence. Would this look silly on Maxima too? Possibly, but Max could carry it off.

    • February-Pisces says:

The fabric is nice but on her it looks very ‘clowny’ . I never understand her thought pattern when choosing an outfit.

      • ClaireB says:

The fabric is lovely. I’m imagining it as a top with a wider neckline, like a boat-neck, and a single-button back closure without any pleats in the front, and then I’m sad it got used for this terrible design. But like a poster above said, it’s got all the fussy details Kate loves but can’t pull off.

      • Olenna says:

More blush, some red lipstick and a barrel, and she’s ready for the rodeo. Even I’m shocked at how ridiculous this blouse is.

      • Elizabeth Regina says:

        Hahahahahaha!

  20. What’s eating you says:

Why is she dressing like a sister wife again? Is Rose back in the picture?

  21. K.T says:

Woahhhh – I just at watched the video and the whole of the decor…what is happening?! ha! Those dark stormy landscapes, the three weird lamps. Um, it looks a bit like a set from a start 70’s domestic horror film! Stepford vibes

    • tee says:

“70’s domestic horror film“ is the perfect description lol the setting and coloring of the video is just so off and seemingly not from this century.

      • Nyro says:

This could actually be a really cool and unique aesthetic if done right. But it’s Kate and there’s nothing cool or unique about her, so there’s that.

    • Olenna says:

      Dark Shadows.

  22. FancyHat says:

OMG what is wearing? She looks like she stole a blouse from a 70 year old retired librarian from 1987. I can’t.

  23. tee says:

The vibes from Kate’s video are very unpleasant. The room decor is so dark and drab, and the way she speaks is just so unnatural. I don’t hate her blouse. This is her being in front of a growing trend. But it’s so shiny, and the shoulders are so large. She was right to style her hair back and down, but she should have also limited the harsh, dark makeup.

  24. HK9 says:

What is she wearing??!!?? She looks like a satin doily. It’s so bad….

  25. CrystalBall says:

Catherine the copycat – setting up a fake zoom room in guest quarters so she can pretend to be talking from her living room like somone who cares. Trying to cover her mad spending on the +£5000 military dress-up coat from Sunday by slumming it in this £79 eyesore of a blouse. Whatever next from the Cambridge House of Horrors?

  26. Nyro says:

So we’re showing the living room now? 😂😂 Meghan Markle, often imitated, never duplicated.

  27. AmelieB says:

Listen Willy, if you are in the middle of speaking and the cameraman suddenly decides to get a close-up of your pin instead of your face, well, that is a clear sign you lack charisma, and lost even the paying audience member. When your life imitates a movie which previously imitated your great grandfather. You need a king’s speech level acting/speech coach.

Kate, you need a stylist, a public speaking coach, and maybe a bit of whiskey to spunk you up before these engagements.

And I know, H&M made it look so easy but there is no shame in getting some coaching classes and bettering yourselves.

    • Lemons says:

      I’m crying right now 😂

    • Babz says:

@AmeliaB, that’s a review for the ages!!! Yes to every single thing you said! They are both trying so desperately hard to be something they’re not, and it shows. If you have to make that much of an effort for such failed results, then just give it up. That’s what comes from not having one authentic bone in your body, and no idea of who you are. Epic fail, the both of them.

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

I’ve been reading the posts here for the last 6 months or so, and I keep getting the thought that Kate just might be doing all of this deliberately. She went to university because she got As and Bs and then graduated with an Art Degree. I don’t believe that she’s this clueless. I’ve almost decided that she’s going for sympathy with her looks. I know that her makeup could be a lot better–those dark shadows under her eyes could be covered. I think as long as she doesn’t do well, no one will expect her to do too much. Plus, if hubby decides to get rid of her, she has all of these pictures where she looks so bad. I just don’t think she’s as dimwitted as she plays.

I watched her video, and WHY did she never say that the GREATFUL nation knows how proud they are of him? It would have delivered a different message.

I physically muttered, “Oh my god” to myself when I saw this photo. I can’t even, with her entire satin blouse, collar and unwashed hair ensemble. The side camera does her no favors. The outer ends of her eyebrows look so raised. It’s like her injector focused only on front view aesthetics. What in the world.

Looks to me like the military cosplay has evolved into Snow White cosplay. And I do mean Snow WHITE.

Bless their hearts. They are trying so hard to have relevant conversations.
Kate has wardrobe problems because her clothes attempt to hide how painfully thin she is.
The decor is seems to have been thrown together. Those homes are so old its probably hard to give them a contemporary vibe. I don’t usually talk about facial appearance but something is not quite right with the face. Too many fillers and botox leads to disaster later on. You can delay aging for only so long. Her fans don’t do her any favors because because she is trying to maintain their image of what they want her to look like. If PWT wants to leave he will. Their actions caused me to do a little research during Covid and I was shocked. Their con job about public service is on a scale equivalent to Donald Trump being a good businessman.

  31. Guest with Cat says:

Well as bad as Kate’s blouse looks and as scary as the Botox shine is, she’s way out of Bill’s league now in terms of looks. It’s got nothing to do his baldness, which on many men is even actually sexy. He just looks…unfortunate. There’s just no charisma or charm that animates him. Her, either, which may be why her face sags without cosmetic procedures. But she still has good days. Him, not lately.

In terms of personality and character they’re about even, which is why they’re looking so miserable these days.

They might have had passion once but it’s looking like neither married for love and it’s coming back to bite them both. And that is genuinely horrible and sad because love usually allows couples to bring out the best in each other. We’ve not seen the best of these two in…well…ever?

Kate looks genuinely pained in her video. It was disturbing to watch. It goes beyond awkward accents and not knowing how to handle speaking to people. Something isn’t right with her.

It was good of them to speak to veterans and their families. They don’t do it particularly well, but I think people appreciate the recognition. And it saddens me to say this, but I was struck by how “very British” they are and so were the people to whom they were speaking. They all relate in such a British way.

I can’t really put my finger on it, but I can see now how, if they can manage to stay married, they will fit into the mold set by generations of royalty before them. They will also fulfill generations of expectations about them. For the first time, I can see how this couple is what the British public might want at the top, when they bother to want royalty at all, rather than Harry with his American wife.

Harry and Meghan fit a more contemporary and global audience and context. Not that Harry isn’t perfectly suited to honoring veterans. Meghan, too. But their vibe is entirely different. They would have filled a different niche beautifully alongside the Cambridges. The Cambridges could have looked vibrant if they worked with the Sussexes rather than against them. But the Cambridges don’t share attention. They don’t have the wit to understand “stronger together.”

And so the UK is left only with zombie zooms.

That fabric is beautiful. Looks nice on her. I’m also a fan of frou frou girly clothes so to each our own.

  33. Liz version 700 says:

She looks so miserable. Life comes at ya fast when you chase family members out of the country and put yourself in the hands of a vain malignant narcissist.

It is really sad if kate really cosplaying meghan.
I can see it, everyday kate and her minions googling meghan and copying what she wears, her activities and her home.
It must really be a really sad life like that.
But you know what, she deserved it.
