Samantha Markle’s dumb book about her sister is coming out this month

Samantha Markle & guests Ray Darcy

Shortly after Friends became a huge hit in the 1990s, Jennifer Aniston’s mom Nancy Dow decided to write a weird book about Jennifer’s life and childhood called From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir. It was a tacky, emotionally abusive move, and one that damaged Jennifer’s relationship with Dow for the rest of Dow’s life. Jennifer didn’t sue Dow, but Jennifer discussed the estrangement far and wide, and let it be known that Dow was persona non grata and entertainment shows should not book her mom.

I bring this up because I wonder if something similar will happen between Samantha Markle (her last name isn’t even Markle, but whatever) and the Duchess of Sussex. Samantha popped out like a giant cold sore during Meghan and Harry’s courtship, engagement and marriage. Meghan was clearly advised by palace courtiers to simply ignore Samantha publicly (never complain, never explain) and possibly try to get Samantha to STFU in private. As we’ve seen now, various royals are able to complain and explain, just not Meghan. So, it was interesting to see Samantha go relatively dark for the past year, almost as if she was afraid of what Meghan might say now that Meghan isn’t being silenced by the palace. Until now… Samantha’s dumbf–k book is coming out on January 17th. Available exclusively (??) at Barnes & Noble.

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha is set to finally release a tell-all memoir after years of touting her dysfunctional relationship with the Duchess of Sussex. Samantha, 56, is set to release the bombshell book titled ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1′ in the US next Friday, after announcing she was writing the memoir in 2016.

According to Barnes & Noble, the Duchess’ sister promises the 330-page tome will expose ‘hidden truths about her family, as a royal fairy tale plummets from the tea towels’.

The book has been published by Barnes & Noble, with the description stating: ‘Things are not always as they seem, in a world where social labels define who we are, how we live, and how we view each other. ‘Samantha Markle finds herself caught in between the cross hairs of media mayhem, when she reveals hidden truths about her family.’

It also hints that ‘things are not always as they seem’ and sometimes the ‘truth is stranger than fiction’.

[From The Daily Mail]

I mean, I think Samantha is a deranged a–hole and I can’t imagine why Barnes & Noble would even bother with this sh-t, but I’m also really curious about what happens next. What happens when Meghan is free to make her own statements about her estranged, tacky and abusive family members? What happens when Meghan’s American lawyers contact Barnes & Noble? What happens when Samantha tries to promote her book in America only to see American outlets want to maintain their relationship with the Sussexes? I imagine Samantha will mostly do interviews to UK media outlets, but still. How does Meghan handle this situation from here on out? Will Meghan go for radio silence, or will she say or do something?

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, attend a roundtable discussion on gender equality!

  1. Amy Bee says:

Barnes and Noble has a service which allows people the chance to self-publish their work as e-books. It means Scammy couldn’t get anybody to publish her book and it won’t get promoted by anyone except the British press. I’m sure she’ll end up on Piers Morgan’s show by the end of the week. Scammy wants nothing more than to get Meghan’s attention and I don’t think she will get it. Given that Meghan doesn’t know her, I’m guessing she will ignore this book like all the other books that have been written about her

    • Jessica says:

Bingo. The title and cover are dead giveaways that this is self-published (unprofessional and amateurish). Amazon has a similar type of self-publishing service.

Read Sean Smith’s Meghan Misunderstood instead (or Finding Freedom)!

      • Lemons says:

Hahaha, everything about this says that traditional publishers and reputable publishing pros stayed FAR FAR away from this book. She couldn’t get a college student to do the cover at least???

      • HoofRat says:

        “Memoire”? WTF?

      • Yvette says:

@Jessica … I don’t know about Barnes & Noble, but Amazon’s self-publishing feature is free. with professional editors and cover artists available for a fee. Perhaps Karen Markle couldn’t afford the copy editor fee and artist fees at Barnes & Noble.

    • Rapunzel says:

AmyBee- while the publisher is listed as B&N Press, which means it’s definitely self published, it’s a paperback, not ebook.

Can B&N get in trouble for what they allow to be self published? Anyone know?

      • Amy Bee says:

I stand corrected. Barnes and Noble does prints books under their self-publishing service.

      • HeatherC says:

She won’t do an ebook. She’s convinced that “trolls” will download it and spread it for free.

      • Nanny to the Rescue says:

@HeatherC, well, that would certainly happen, so she’s at least right about something.

    • Sofia says:

As @Rapunzel says it is a physical book but most likely still self-published. Not surprised to hear that because 1) the Sussexes have shown they’re not afraid to sue so I’m guessing publishing houses want to avoid a lawsuit especially over someone like Samantha and 2) the Sussexes will eventually write a memoir or do some sort of book deal so I’m guessing publishing houses don’t want to find themselves on H&M’s no talk list and miss out on potential $$$$ profit all because of, again, someone like Samantha

      • Rapunzel says:

Sofia- it is DEFINITELY self published. The publisher is listed as B&N press. B&N Press is “a free, fast, and easy-to-use self-publishing service that enables you to publish and sell print or ebooks directly to our millions of readers.” That’s directly from its website.

There’s no doubt. It’s a self published book because nobody would give her a contract.

    • Godwina says:

Yeah the moment I scrolled down and saw that cover photo: that’s a self-pub or crappy vanity press, zero question.

And it wasn’t edited by a pro: “as a royal fairy tale plummets from the tea towels.” I have a doctorate in English lit and language and even I can’t make sense of this image. Do towels absorb fairy tales? Is it a clumsy ref to spilling the tea? Why the towel? Why was a fairy tale clinging to the bottom hem of a towel help me

      • OzJennifer says:

I took that to mean the tea towels and all the other Harry and Meghan souvenirs that came out at the time of the wedding.

      • (The OG) Jan90067 says:

“Tea towel” reference is a DIRECT tie to Diana (ie: Her sisters telling her: “Can’t run out of the marriage now, Duch, your face is on the tea towels!”)

      • Sofia says:

@Jan I don’t think Samantha is smart enough to think of that Diana reference tbh

      • M.A.F. says:

@Sofia – if she watched the Crown she might be. I do believe the line is in the Crown.

      • Sofia says:

@M.A.F – Really? I don’t remember that line. They may have said something similar but I don’t remember the tea towels line. It was said in Diana: In her Own Words so maybe Samantha got it from there

      • GuestwithCat says:

Well Godwina, that’s because you’re not a real doctor. You and that kiddo, Jill Biden, are fake doctors. /sarcasm in heaping helpings.

Actually you had me laughing out loud. I could never make sense out of Samantha’s rants. It’s sad, but according to her own mother and her own children, she’s been this dysfunctional her entire life.

      • Wiglet Watcher says:

        Sofia
I can also confirm the line was in the crown.

    • Mignionette says:

I also think Scammy is spoiling for an action in defamation as that in itself will garner her more attention.

Someone did not love this sociopath enough when she was little and it shows. It must burn her to know her sister is making so much money and does not have to stoop to her levels to do so.

      • kelleybelle says:

Sr.’s abandonment of Jr. and Sam damaged them severely. In interviews you can still see the anger and frustration in them, decades later. They blame Meghan but it’s Sr.’s doing. He tossed them aside on his parents and went off to chase Hollywood. Enter Doria … and Meghan. They are still bitter and will remain so. What Meghan “got” was court-ordered child support, which Sr. tied to weasel out of. Sam and Jr. never got anything like that. So yes, it’s always been “You owe us, dad gave you everything.” Doria saw to Meg’s education in the divorce and they behave like that greasy abusive bastard is some sort of saint for it. Not the case. I am waiting for a spectacular crash and burn fail on this “book.” Although I must admit I’m curious about what she’s filled more than 300 pages with as she doesn’t even know Meghan OR Harry. Sam has seen Meghan probably twice in more than 30 years. Given that Sam is a life-long liar, well … I hoping for legal action but Meghan will never acknowledge this slag’s existence.

      • Olenna says:

This, and she’s got nothing to lose if she’s sued. But, the attention she’ll garner from this is priceless to her and the vicious fools who colluded with her.

    • My Two Cents says:

My question is, why now? isn’t the timing a bit suspicious? She’s been quiet for a year, just like their father. So did the RF pay them to be quiet ? and now they told her she could release her book? because it’s literally happening a few days after Archewell went live … first the Queen admitting it took her two seconds to reject Harry’s wreath, then this… is this all orchestrated? and what will be next?

      • Mignionette says:

@My Two Cents – pressure to get Meghan to settle quietly out of court.

      • Rapunzel says:

My two cents- to me, the question “why now? Is answered by the fact this is self published. She didn’t publish it earlier cause she was desperately seeking a real publishing house. Also, she’s clearly not too bright, so writing the thing must have taken awhile.

    • Part 1 — 330 pages, is what caught my attention. I see this in the Barnes and Noble remainder bin PDQ. Sammy is such a waste of airspace. But I’m sure the British Press will run it up the flagpole as far as they can.

  2. Noki says:

So she is not even a Markle ,what a shameless loser.

    • (The OG) Jan90067 says:

Technically, she IS a “Markle”, having Tom as her father. She just hasn’t BEEN NAMED Markle for what, 2 DECADES at least, having married and used the name “Grant”.

      • L4frimaire says:

Found out from Finding Freedom book, her name isn’t even Samantha but Yvonne. She changed it to Samantha. I think old girl is spoiling for a lawsuit and then can play victim.

  3. Joanna says:

I don’t know this woman but I feel like I know her lol. She lives in Ocala FL. That’s off interstate 10. I always saw the exit signs for it and imagine it is a teeny tiny town. I picture her in either a double wide trailer or a old junky house. She doesn’t work, wheels around in her wheelchair, which she doesn’t need and gets in everyone’s business. She’s lonely but no one wants to be around her because she always stirs up drama. This is just how I imagine her to be, I don’t know her. Oh and a HUGE Trump supporter. Lol

    • Ohpioneer says:

My brother bought a retirement home in Ocala in an expensive community so it’s not quite how you imagined. It’s very similar to the horse breeding area of Kentucky actually with horse farms etc. Oh and John Travolta lives there. Not sure if he’s in a double wide or not lol.

      • Shoo fly says:

The outskirts of Ocala are like a horse community. In town and right around it are full of lower middle class and poof white people. The “town” is nothing but a square with a confederate monument and a block of old buildings run through by highways with every imaginable fast food and car dealership.

      • Joanna says:

I heard he has a nice house there. My comment was a little snooty sorry!

    • L84Tea says:

      Ocala is off of I-75.

  4. Heather says:

MM will not comment. Dealing with people like SM is where I agree with the ‘never complain, never explain’ policy. Don’t give these kind of people air.

  5. Chill says:

“Samantha popped out like a giant cold sore during Meghan and Harry’s courtship, engagement and marriage.”
Thank you for this line. I laughed my head off. Thank you, Kaiser!!!

  6. Harla says:

I thought I saw a headline last week about Samantha’s partner being arrested for domestic violence. I didn’t read the article but I wonder what’s going on there.

    • Mignionette says:

I’m guessing the grifting trail has gone cold and there is no more money to be made leading to friction and Mark’s abusive behaviour.

    • HeatherC says:

She now refuses to cooperate with authorities and the charges have been dismissed without prejudice (could be brought up again). So either:

      1. She’s caught in an abuse cycle

      or

      2. She lied to the police either in that he hit her or that he didn’t purposefully for some headlines before her book.

      • I’m going with choice number 2. Remember when she came out with that super complicated story of her horrific car crash into a pillar (just like Diana) and the police said no such accident had been reported. She’ll do anything for publicity.

      • tcbc says:

A person can be a pathological liar and a narcissistic grifter and still be a victim of abuse.

  7. AnnaKist says:

    She’s a thing. A vile, loser thing.

  8. aquarius64 says:

This garbage is about Scammy’s life and the Markles. I went on the Barnes and Noble website and that’s how it comes off. B&N Legal must have told her anything negative on the Sussexes better be backed up with evidence that would hold up in a libel suit. B&N could be named. This mess won’t be published in the UK and other countries because of their defamation laws. Everyone knows the Sussexes will take them to court without hesitation.

    • Amy Bee says:

I agree. The blurb did sound like the book was about her life and not really about Meghan and she was probably told that anything she says about Meghan had to backed up by solid proof. If she told Barnes and Noble that she only met Meghan twice and the last time was in 2008 then perhaps she was advised that she can’t write extensive about Meghan. Anyway, I’m sure the British press will tell us if she says anything about Meghan because that’s all they’re interested in.

    • Shoo fly says:

I was wondering the same, whether it will be published or sold in the UK. If not, it’s 100% because it wouldn’t pass libel laws there. She’s on thin ice in the US with anyone who isn’t a public figure, too. I would include her own mother and any extended family in that. You’re right, it’ll be about her and the Markles.

    • Shoo fly says:

    • HeatherC says:

In that case I can’t wait to see how her followers react. For weeks she’s been promising the following are in her book (none of which she has any idea of in the first place)
      1. Information on the “surrogate” Meghan used
      2. Insider info on Sussexit and how much the queen hates her (Samantha obviously had a front row seat)
      3. Whether or not she graduated from NW.
      4. How much her despicable father is hurt and blah blah
      5. Whether or not Meghan utilized a “casting couch” approach to her career
      6. If Doria spent Meghan’s childhood in prison

      and things like that

      • equality says:

So is she going to keep stringing the suckers along with “parts” to her book and never deliver because she can’t? Or she is going to lie big time and be open to lawsuits? Is she that vindictive and stupid? Or is she going to have to admit that she has been lying? Only the truly gullible would fall for her schemes.

      • Lizzie says:

Maybe the Kracken can be her lawyer when Meghan sues her a$$.

    • Genessee says:

I assure you B&N Legal doesn’t even know about this (until now). And they won’t get involved unless it contains bannable content such as extreme adult material. LOL

She’s self-publishing. ANYONE can do this. Repeatedly. With the most badly written content. The same with Amazon. There is no quality control or oversight.

  9. Josie Bean says:

Meghan Markle’s family members on her father’s side have got to be the dumbest people on earth. Here Meghan was to marry Prince Harry which no doubt meant that she would be well off and would therefore probably take care (to a certain degree) of her family. For instance, her father’s side of the family could have visited Meghan and stayed in lovely accommodation (ie Santa Barbara or Windsor residences). In fact if her father became very ill she could have arranged to care for him, at the Santa Barbara home, without him being in the way of her mother (who may or may not live with Meghan but no doubt visits – I don’t know what the arrangement is with her mother), since that residence is so large.

Anyway, my point is Meghan’s family could have had some lovely visits to see her, Harry and their son, and perhaps met some interesting people in the process, but because they seem to not be able to keep their mouths shut, they screwed themselves. So very dumb.

    • Amy Bee says:

Well, her father would have taken care of as he was before he sold Meghan out to the British press. She had no relationship with her brother or sister so there would have been no change to that relationship even if they had kept quiet.

    • Myra says:

I’m not one to buy into conspiracy theories, but their behaviours would make sense if someone reached out to them and asked them to humiliate Meghan publicly. Judging from their actions though, in terms of non-Meghan related stuff, it’s also possible that they were just this stupid. To think that they could all have been at the royal wedding. Meghan was right not to invite them.

      • kelleybelle says:

No, they couldn’t have been. Meghan has seen Jr. and Sam probably twice in 30 years. She doesn’t know them and wouldn’t have invited them. The Fail paid for Jr. to hang around outside and smoke a few cigarettes, and then go home. They also paid Sr. to stay home and fake a heart attack.

    • L4frimaire says:

She is 17years older than Meghan and practically out of the house when M was born. I have a half brother 18 years younger, whom I adore, but based on age gap and different mom’s , we didn’t spend a lot of time together growing up and only see each other occasionally. We’re totally different generations. Scammy is full of it. It seems like her dad’s side hasn’t seen much of Meghan since childhood and Samantha’s issues and jealousy have been there since Thomas and Doria got together. She was very racist and disrespectful toward Doria back in the day. She was also jealous and resentful of Meghan’s acting career, so meeting Prince Harry just sent her to bunny boiler status.

      • Midnight@theOasis says:

        “bunny boiler status” 😂😄🤣😂🤣😂
        Thank you…I needed that laugh

  10. Nev says:

    OH GEEZ.

  11. Likeyoucare says:

I am afraid she will attack doria instead.
She will talk about doria and her father relationship from her point of view. A psychotic, derange, racis story and she will blame doria of it.
I hope meghan sue barnes & noble for spreading lies, misinformation and hate speach.

    • Chris. says:

She won’t touch Doria cause she will be sued. I don’t even believe the Brits are going to give this crazy woman a platform this time. They have too much going on, with the pandemic, lockdown, and Meghan’s trial. The palace is already scared with the actual lawsuit, they will not add the crazy sister. Plus, because the Sussexes are free now, she needs to be careful about what she is going to say, cause she will end up in an American Jail, if she cannot back up a fake stories.

  12. Lillyfromlilooet says:

Interesting about Jen. That is certainly one way to handle it.

In this case, though, I hope the Sussexes say nothing. That feels more like the winning move here. I do believe that this person will scream herself out and no one is going to care much–this is her one card, and she’s playing it, and she’s out.

    • L4frimaire says:

There are so many famous people who are estranged from relatives because of jealousy and can’t handle the spotlight due to that relatives fame. Also, it changes a person so they can’t be as open as before and they do live more in a bubble. Also, you’re suddenly responsible for your parents messy personal life or siblings you barely know, that had nothing to do with you, e.g. Obama and his half siblings on dad’s side. So many stories of either exploitation or estrangement. Look at the current nasty mess with Vanessa Bryant and her mom. I remember when Jen Aniston’s mom’s issue was a thing but don’t remember the press calling her a terrible person for cutting ties with her.

  13. Maliksmama says:

Tom Sr really failed his kids. It was his job to make sure his kids develop a sibling bond. At what point did he drop the ball? Did he ever realize something was off in his household? Or did he just sweep the issues under the rug?

I’m not interested in another Meghan biography to be honest. I’m more interested in the Tom Sr, Tom Jr, Samantha, and their mom biography. Their estrangement from each other is way more interesting than anything Samantha has to say about Meghan.

Hopefully, Samantha will reveal more of her life story. I’m really curious as to how she ended up where she is. She had the same opportunities that Meghan had. Her dad called in favors to give her a leg up in the entertainment business too. As a 100% white woman with connections, why didn’t she get farther in her career? What caused her to fail in Hollywood? How’d she end up alone and bitter and full of rage? Why’s Meghan the sole source of her jealousy and envy?

How’d Samantha become estranged from her mother and brother and kids?

These are the questions I hope she addresses in her book.

    • HeatherC says:

Not in defense at all but there is a significant age gap. Samantha is 17 years older than Meghan. Meghan is closer in age to Samantha’s oldest kid (that she didn’t bother to raise) than Samantha. There is no way they “grew up together” and it’s obvious they don’t have a significant bond. Though I doubt that her book will delve into why she gave (or sold depending on the source) her oldest kids to their paternal grandparents and why her youngest lives with her maternal grandmother and why Thomas, the greatest grandfather of all time has no relationship with any of her kids.

Let’s not forget that this is a self published book. Which means she had to pay to have it published. Then B&N takes a chunk for overhead (printing, shipping, etc). I wonder how many books she’d have to sell to see any profit (at about 4 dollars and change a book).

    • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Didn’t Toxic Tom run out on the older two and their mom when they were quite young? I remember something about him being a deadbeat dad, them being back in PA with their mother, and not reconnecting with him until their early teens…? If so, beyond the “normal” sibling jealousy, there’s also the jealousy of a sister that the absentee father DOTED on, literally worshiped her…and that is what is eating at her most.

While I’m NOT excusing this piece of garbage (both Samantha OR the “book”, and I use that term loosely), I can understand childhood scars last forever. HOWEVER as an adult, she could’ve/should’ve gotten therapy. But this is a piece of excrement who doesn’t have a familial relationship with ANYONE, not even her own kids. Just a damaged piece of work who wants everyone to be as unhappy as she is.

      • CC2 says:

I think this was the case, lol. Thomas despite being nasty now, loved the shit out of Meghan (from Meghan’s own accounts) despite being a problematic person then. He was really involved in raising up Meghan and they probably felt that she and Doria stole him? (narrative sounds familiar?).

      • kelleybelle says:

Exactly. Sr. abandoned them and dumped them on his parents, and it was years before they saw him again. Watch them in interviews and their anger and frustration is still very visible. When they did connect again, Doria was in the picture, and then Meghan. They should blame their dad where the blame belongs, and not Meghan. But we all know how twisted they are. Blaming their dad doesn’t pay.

      • Ann says:

I think their father screwed them and that caused lasting harm and resentment. It is understandable. Also, he won the lottery and used the money to send Meghan to private schools, a privilege I don’t think the older kids had. I’m not excusing her behavior, but honestly, I blame the father more than anyone. He was the parent, and the one who should have acted as such. None of it is Meghan’s fault, and I am sorry Samantha is having….problems. But she is not entirely to blame.

    • I don’t know, Maliksmama —- Given she seems to be a pathological liar, I’m surprised you think what she writes will have an element of truth? I’m thinking this should be housed under fiction or science fiction, but definitely not autobiography.

  14. equality says:

My book title is “why I dumped B&N”. I was a member until yesterday. Even if the book doesn’t say much about Meghan, they still allowed her to use the offensive title for it. They surely have some control over content even if it is self-published. And they are advertising it.

    • Genessee says:

Like Amazon, the only content they censor are obviously plagiarized works, obscene or hate content, or explicit adult material.

Anyone can publish. There is no oversight. And everyone publishing a book pays for their own advertising if they want.

  15. Michael says:

This woman has no real relationship with Meghan and has not for decades. Anything she would write is either a lie or based on childhood. Even then she did not live with her if I am right. It is amazing how vile this family is and so many of them want to make a living attacking their own half sister

    • HeatherC says:

There’s 17 years between them. They didn’t have a shared childhood. Meghan is closer in age to Samantha’s oldest child than to Samantha herself.

    • Chris.

      • Amy Bee says:

It’s the Brits who are reporting that she has written a book. They will give her a platform to bad mouth Meghan. She still gets invited to Dan Wootton’s radio talk show.

    • Ginger says:

I saw a tweet that said Sam was on Inside Edition last week and the interviewer got her to admit she wasn’t invited to Meghan’s first wedding and hasn’t seen or spoke to Meghan since 2008.

The haters will be disappointed in this book like Lady C’s book. It was just a rehash of tabloid stories (according to them) and nothing new. Sam didn’t grow up with Meghan so she will more than likely just rehash tabloid stories as well.

  16. Louise177 says:

I thought this already came out 1 or 2 years ago. Except for the British press, nobody will care.

  17. Shoo fly says:

And in anticipation of the British press arguments, Carole Middleton cut off her entire extended family, including at least one godchild, and promised her elderly aunt and uncle she’d bring George around to see them, and then did nothing of the sort. So spare me. Even Uncle Gary, who bankrolled the whole Kate enterprise, is out.

  18. Esme says:

    Part 1?

    …no words.
But it’ll probably be ignored and irrelevant – not because the S. have no right to complain, but because everybody can see this is a mean spirited cash grab, and it won’t even be witty or well written.

  19. Coco says:

What an empty life she must lead, eaten up by jealousy and half-baked plans for revenge.

  20. Sunshine says:

As with Finding Freedom, Lady Colon’s book, Andrew Morton’s book, etc. Meghan should say nothing. Simply have the lawyers on standby to sue Barnes and Noble (because SM doesn’t have any money). There is zero upside to rolling in the mud with pigs.

  21. Meep Meep says:

Not gonna happen. Barnes and Noble Press is basically a copy shop with distribution. Books aren’t printed until they are ordered. B&N takes no responsibility for content, in fact: “ Barnes & Noble reserves the right to determine, in the exercise of our sole discretion, whether or not your content (including, but not limited to your eBook file, cover image and product data) is compliant with the Content Policy. This includes but is not limited to content we deem illegal, libellous, infringing, offensive, harmful or potentially harmful, threatening, harassing, legally obscene, defamatory or intentionally hateful in any regard.” Sorry, on phone, google Barnes and Nobles Content Policy to find the whole thing.

I’m guessing that there will be a lawyer’s letter shutting this down ASAP, as there is no way Samantha’s book meets the above guidelines.

Note: B&N Press is not a bad way to go for self publishing. I know someone who put together their grandfather’s memoirs that way. His friends, scattered around the country could go into their local store and get a copy printed out. Everyone got a huge kick out of it. Even an article in the local paper and a signing at the library.

My guess is that to avoid legal hassles the book will be mainly about Samantha and her life. Anything about Meghan will just be a rehash of what’s in the tabloids. She’s just using Meghan as a hook to get people to buy it. However, Samantha should realize that this opens the door wide for people to dig into her life and for her kids and exes to open their mouths about her. From what I have read there are some doozies in her life so I’m surprised she didn’t just keep her mouth shut.

I believe profiting on family dysfunction is despicable.
QE2 as much as you may hate some of her decisions never spilled the beans on her family.
The royal family is a cult. And such as I wrote, “you’re in or you’re out.” That’s essentially how cults operate.
H&M are best to continue their work and not feel ongoing resentment. They did find freedom after all. And when one leaves garbage on the curb for pick up, there’s no point scavenging through it again before pick up. The laying of a wreath for Harry rejection was more scavenging. It’s sad but true. I know the hurt of rejection from powerful figures.
H&M still young and healthy have so much to look forward to with better times ahead. They need to keep their focus on goodness.

What is the title even grammatically correct or am I tripping?!

If it’s a copy shop, did she write the book, and if so was she paid to write it, and if so, by whom?

My thoughts on this: I think the older Markle siblings feel their upbringing wasn’t as ‘good’ as Meghan’s and they just can’t move past their resentment and jealousy to get to a place of maturity and growth. They seem desperately unhappy and tied to the belief that their lives ‘would have been…’ if only they’d had x, y, z, etc.’ It’s that belief that’s the issue, not what their sister is or is not, doing for them. Meghan’s marrying into a ‘royal family’ has only heightened those feelings. While I feel bad for Samantha especially, because having MS is awful, doing things like this, isn’t good, helps no one, and makes her sister even more determined to keep ties severed.

You’re partially right, the elder sibs did not have as good an upbringing. Sr. abandoned them for years with his parents to chase Hollywood. When they connected again, Doria was in the picture. The elder sibs saw some nasty stuff: drunkeness, drugs, prolonged absence, drunkenness at home, trips to the other side of the world for teen prostitutes, indifference, moodiness, physical abuse. No child support payments. Meghan comes along and is showered with attention. Most importantly, in the divorce, Sr. is forced to pay support, and her private schooling for high school was most likely a condition of that divorce; Doria insisted. Sr. tried to weasel out of support. The elder two neglect to mention that child support gave Meg a lot of things they did not get. They are emotionally immature, abusive, chronic failures, and very damaged from their father’s abandonment. Their anger is physically very visible in interviews, decades later. And Sam does not have MS, her own mother said so. It’s a spinal cord injury from a 14-foot fall and not 70 feet as she claimed. Abusing your children physically and emotionally, and murdering their pets does not warrant an ounce of sympathy from me. She is helpless and practically immobile and has to depend on an abusive criminal ex-con to be toileted. Karma stares in her face every single day. She is evil and none of her family members have ever denied it.

I know very little about this woman but I would guess that since Meghan was born she has been jealous. Meghan is beautiful, smart, has a mother who adores her – I bet in her mind Samantha always called her Princess and then Meghan really married a prince. Much like Will to be honest, jealous of her sibling and blaming her for her own unhappy life.

To quote my other favorite Spotify couple podcast TBGWT “ you raggedy muthafucka”. They dragged the hell out of Scammy. It was hilarious. The nerve! Called it a boring ass book, called her exploitative. They gave her a read. Was glorious! Also called those royalists who go after Harry raggedy too with the sexist racist BS . Also, they think no one would care if it was Will who walked away, ha! Was glorious! LoL.

Well it doesn’t seem to be available anymore…

  29. Rae says:

People are still going to read it. It’s like the interview from one of the actresses from bridgerton and referring to gossip being embedded in human nature. I’m wondering if an injunction will be temp granted to halt publishing.

I read that during the Xmas holidays the police were called because Sammy’s husband or boyfriend struck her after she asked him to help her get up from the toilet-he hit her upside her head for calling out to him to help her-he was angry because she woke him up-that’s story I read last week.

“almost as if she was afraid of what Meghan might say now that Meghan isn’t being silenced by the palace…”

If Samantha was a public figure or even just not a deranged asshole then perhaps this could explain her silence, but what could Meghan possibly say that would motivate this shameless narcissist to shut up? More likely she was saving all her shit talking for the book, truly terrible human that she is.
