Donald Trump rants at Georgia rally: Mike Pence needs to ‘come through for us’

President Trump Visits Former President George W. Bush And Former First Lady Laura As President H.W. Bush Lies In State In Capitol

Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump flew down to Georgia for one of their now infamous late-night rallies in some airport hangar. Today is the Georgia special election for both of GA’s Senate seats and if any Georgians are reading this today, please get out to vote! It’s incredibly important, your vote will determine the balance of the Senate and set the agenda for the next four years. As for Ivanka and Don the Con, it amuses me that Melania tapped out – she doesn’t give a flying f–k – and so Ivanka gleefully took on the role of Daughter-Wife. It’s being said that Ivanka has her own political ambitions, and that she could run for a Senate seat, possibly in Florida. That’s what this about too – Ivanka trying to get her daddy’s unhinged Nazi base to love her too.

Unfortunately for Ivanka, America and democracy entirely, her father seems to want to burn everything down as he’s being dragged out of the White House kicking and screaming. On Sunday, Trump’s call to the Georgia Secretary of State was made public, and Trump’s high crimes and misdemeanors are tearing apart the GOP. Allegedly. I mean, I think most of the angst from elected Republicans right now is performative, as they’re trying to gauge whether or not their base actually gives a f–k about Firestarter Trump burning down the republic.

In Georgia last night, apparently Trump barely even talked about the Senate races – he was too busy talking about himself and how he *totally* won Georgia. Then he suggested that Mike Pence needed to “come through for us.” What the actual f–k.

She also tagged Meatloaf with that picture on the plane. What was that all about?

  2. Diana says:

Just when I think we’ve reached a turning point with this ahole leaving our lives, the drama gets worse and even more grim. I don’t know what to do at this point. Or what to wish for? Will Joe and Kamala be strong enough to take down fascism????? I am starting to have doubts 😭

    • Rapunzel says:

Joe and Kamala don’t have to be strong enough. The constitution is. The Secret Service is.

      • Diana says:

But if we have half of our leaders and country in support of fascism… I am so worried about a civil war. Someone, please talk me off a ledge!!

      • KellySunshine says:

Diana, from the outside (Canadian here) looking in, it really does look like Donald Trump is trying to start another civil war for the US. His actions horrify me, and I can not believe that he has so many supporters believing everything that spews out of his mouth.

      • Midnight@theOasis says:

Don’t count on the Secret Service too much. Many of them are Bonafide Trumpers:

      • Darla says:

Yeah, I’m sorry to have to agree, I don’t trust the SS one bit. Not at all. No.

      • lisa says:

Diana, it is not half the country, it’s just half the voters. So much less. Many news outlets say “half the country” in their headlines and it drives me mad.

      • Traveler says:

I’m glad you said that and posted that link @Midnight@the Oasis.
SS agents are just people with all the same tendencies, potential prejudices and idiocies as anyone else. He has some allies there. How many and how far they will go is left to be seen………..scarily. I have never felt confident in them saving the day by wrenching his ass out of the WH.
I have the same fears about some members of the military (I mean no disrespect to those who serve with honor).
We are witnessing all the holes in this fragile democracy. Not every society can withstand the siege by megalomaniacs. The Roman Empire was once the Roman Republic.

      • Miranda says:

@Diana I’ve been taking a lot of comfort in the fact that the vast, vast majority of Trump worshipers are all talk. They are terrible, moronic racists, but above all, they are lazy. I’m not saying there will be NO violence, because even one of these assholes with a weapon is one too many, and I believe that, unfortunately, there will be scattered incidents. But ask them to do more than go to a rally to show their support, and almost all of them will say “nah, I’m more comfortable just sitting here on my Rascal and bitching about Hunter Biden’s laptop for 4 years, thanks.”

  3. whatever says:

Ivanka is crazy if she thinks Daddy’s base is going to vote for a Jewish woman. They tolerate her when he’s around, but without him she’s nothing to them.

    • Rapunzel says:

None of the kids will succeed. And if the Republicans lose the Senate, the Trump’s will be persona non grata for them. The GOP will split in two. . . Trump will form a “Patriot Party” and the right will never win again because they’ll never unite behind one candidate.

This is why so many of the Republicans are kissing Trump’s behind. Mitch the evil turtle knows it and it is why he was trying to keep Senators from objecting.

GOP played with fire and now they’re burning. Lindsey Graham even said in 2016 that if they let Trump in, he’d destroy the party, and the party would deserve it. That is playing out now. Chickens, welcome home to your roost.

      • whateveryousay says:

Yup. Patriot Party is just another grift. The modern GOP is done after this stupidity.

    • LightPurple says:

I suspect that Ivanka’s “faith” was merely contractual for purposes of the merger with the starter husband. Once the marriage is over, she will revert to whatever she was before, if she was anything at all.

    • Callie says:

I wouldn’t be too sure of that, I know a Cheeto supporter unfortunately and they think Daughter/Wife will be the first woman president. These people believe everything and anything they are told, it is a cult.

  4. Rapunzel says:

Kelly Loeffler agreed to object Wednesday. Such a desperate attempt to win votes last minute. Perdue apparently wasn’t even there?

Georgia, please come through. Give the Dems the Senate.

    • Jayna says:

Loeffler is despicable. It’s going to be a nail-biter tonight. It will be an extremely close election. The early voting numbers have been promising, but I think both Republicans will ultimately win. I believe they are being underestimated on the turnout by them that will happen today. But I am holding out hope. It’s all in the numbers. The amazing Stacey Abrams has done a phenomenal job. We just need to keep the momentum going and have a massive turnout on Election Day by Democrats.

    • Sparky says:

Perdue has been exposed to Covid and is actually behaving properly and quarantining. He’s been in quarantine for a few days already and yet Trump tried to call him up to the podium.

      • Esmom says:

I don’t know. Covid was a mighty convenient excuse for the coward Perdue to keep away from campaigning and answering questions. He doesn’t care about the people of Georgia, he just wants the seat with as little contact with constituents as possible.

      • Darla says:

        @Esmom, yep!

      • Ann says:

I would assume if Perdue is “quarantining,” it means he wasn’t just exposed to Covid, he has it, and wasn’t well enough to attend. Republican politicians don’t give a rip about quarantining due to exposure.

    • Tiffany says:

Not Georgia, come through, Black voters turned out in record numbers with early voting (even more than the general election) and Latino/a voters also turned out in high numbers.

This is, and always will be about white people and their need to uphold white supremacy and they are the ones that should be called out and never are.

    • Coco says:

Kelly Loeffler is pure evil. And she has a weird, dumb skeleton face.

      • Lady D says:

The only thing I know about this woman is from the last three times I’ve seen her in the news. All three times she was adamant she was voting against whatever Trump wanted and all three times, she turned traitor at the last minute and voted Trump’s way. I made five bucks on her today. Truthfully, I don’t know why anyone believes a word she says.

      • Holly hobby says:

She also likes to cosplay what she thinks Southerners and poor people look like. She looks like an extra from Deliverance in her campaign pictures.

  5. Lotta says:

My dad is american and the US is my second homeland, but I’m starting to feel less and less american. I always thought that democracy and freedom was the two most important things that amercans were proud about. Now it’s seems that the freedom is just about having the rights to carry a gun.

    • Elizabeth Pope says:

I understand just how you feel. Mom American, Dad British, lived outside the US half my life. Living here now & wouldn’t if I didn’t have to. My brother declared UK citizenship and is in Finland (Not the UK :))

    • Willow says:

We used to value democracy, freedom, and what made our country the USA. Then we became proud of our freedoms and country. That pride turned into arrogance, selfishness, and now fear. And what we valued became a weapon. Freedom to not wear a mask, freedom to ‘mispeak’.

      • Esmom says:

Well said, Willow. And unfortunately the people who weaponize freedom have no idea what it’s like to be truly oppressed.

  6. Ellie says:

Celebitchy weighing in from the Atlanta, voted early and in person weeks ago so there could be no signature f-ckery (obviously I wore a mask). I’m not even sure who’s left to vote – let’s just say it’s not the people I choose to interact with. I’ve gotten postcards from all over the country! And I am super nervous for our country, but also how things will go down in our state today. I am seriously considering pulling the Ossoff and Warnock signs out of our yard midday today for our safety.

    • LightPurple says:

My Georgia family members voted early and delivered 7 votes for Ossoff and Warnock. One of those was from a first time voter who turned 18 in December. His older brother, age 19, was a first time voter in November.

    • Implicit says:

now that Voting is over please remove the signs…I lived in a very racist city in the 70s we aren’t safe until this has been resolved then all the cowards will retreat to their knuckle caves

    • Anne Call says:

I wrote postcards to Georgians from Santa Barbara. Fingers crossed we do this thing today and take back a bit of our country.

    • CL says:

Georgian here, voted democratic before Christmas. Fingers crossed for today!

  7. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

That last photo with the clear and focused shot of daughter-wife is sinister.

    • LightPurple says:

She took the selfie. Everything she does is sinister.

    • whatWHAT? says:

I’m looking at the one of them walking together where she’s in profile.

never was her chin implant more obvious. I’m getting Mac Tonight vibes.

(google if you don’t know who I’m talking about)

    • Sarah B says:

It reminds me of that one meme of the photo of the little girl standing in front of a burning house and smiling.

    • ClaireB says:

I didn’t even see her in the background until you pointed it out. She looks like she’s posing for a horror movie poster.

Why is Dump’s nostril white in the picture of him and Vanka walking together? Is that his natural skin color, an unfortunate lighting issue, or an indication of “medication” he took on the plane?

      • Mabs A'Mabbin says:

I can’t imagine the number of grams of his medication is required for Satan’s hell rallies.

    • Ponchorella says:

That shot of her waiting in the wings definitely tells a story…

    • Chanteloup says:

I’m so grateful to all of you who can look at a photo and make fun of it for me! lol I can’t bear to see any of their faces so I scroll past at lightning speed

  8. whateveryousay says:

Come on. Let’s hope for Good Trouble in GA. I am not touching any of the treasonous and insane stuff that Trump said last night. Mike Pence’s roll is similar to Vanna White. He’s just opening shit and can’t stop it. If he tries then you call up Chuck Grassley. Idiots.

    • Ann says:

I like the comparison of Pence to Vanna White! I watched Wheel of Fortune last week for the first time in probably 20 years. Pat Sajak is so over it and there’s Vanna same as she ever was. It is a very apt comparison lol

    • Chanteloup says:

Except I love Vanna, she’s truly sweet and has done no harm to anyone, while Pence is pure evil. Just noting that. Carry on.

  9. ican'tanymore says:

The Donald flew down to Georgia…
He was looking for an election to steal…

  10. Tiffany says:

Richard Marx delivered a savage tweet to that top pic of them in the aircraft.

I needed a minute to process it after reading it. I mean…..

  11. Lotta says:

    @Sara
Well, almost half of the votes was for Trump and, according to me, against democracy. I don’t want to visit and there has been a decreace of europeans that don’t want to visit the a US because of Trump and all of the shootings in schools and malls. For us it seems like the US is spinning out of control. Just like Polen.

  12. Michael says:

This is going to be the longest 15 days in history

  13. Carol says:

    And again….nothing happens to him.

  14. ClaireB says:

I haven’t had enough coffee today to process how evil he is, how evil all the politicians are who cynically enable him, and how horrified I am that they all still have supporters who believe they’re right.

I have a terrible feeling that we’re all going to get what only half of us deserve: the downfall of democracy in the US and in the world.

  15. B n A fn says:

I maybe in the minority here but I don’t believe 45 will ever run again for president. I believe he will be fighting off the law from all sides. I believe he will be a broken man who is being looked on as a failure. When he leaves all his scandal will see the light. Listening to that call on Saturday he appeared to be having trouble pronouncing certain words, I’m thinking he might have had a light stroke, something is not right with him IMO. I also believe he’s on medication or uppers to keep him going.

Off topic: did anyone know how was the crowd at the rally last night, just wondering if his sheep’s are still following him over the cliff like Jim jones followers, such a sad 😞 state the country is in, shake my head.

    • Tiffany says:

He will run again, that is the only way he can get any income to come in. He can register to run as soon as Biden is sworn in and start campaigning from there.

    • Dee Kay says:

I think both B n A and Tiffany are right. Trump will certainly run again and start raising “campaign funds” (that he will use for his legal team and anything else he wants) asap. But I also believe he is unwell and will experience a sharp decline in health over the next couple of years. He will be a rabidly evil narcissist until the bitter end, but I do believe his end is coming (if not death, then serious mental and/or physical incapacity).

      • Josie Bean says:

Yes, Trump needs to start campaigning ASAP and keep the money coming in. But I don’t think he is in good health and losing this election is taking its toll on him physically and mentally. He looks like a stroke candidate.

    • Bess says:

I am betting Trump will leave the country before Biden is inaugurated. Even if Trump resigns and gets Pence to pardon him, he can’t be pardoned for any state crimes. He is facing years of criminal and civil court proceedings. I don’t see him sticking around the face the music.

      • Thirtynine says:

Even Nicola Sturgeon had to publicly say he couldn’t come to Scotland after the rumours about him booking the airfield for inauguration day surfaced. So you’re definitely not the only one thinking he intends to flee.

      • cassandra says:

Probably depends on the Senate outcome. If the Republicans win he’ll stay and and continue coup-ing away and if they lose he’ll try to run.

  16. Leah says:

Pence can’t do anything. All he has to do is open the damn envelopes and certify them. What Trump is looking for is a coup, and I hope Biden’s AG is watching because this is a criminal act.

End of. I’m sure even a robot like Pence can perform a simple function like opening envelopes.

I’m not a religious person but I did utter a little prayer for the Nov 3rd election and will again today. I asked my long departed father to have a word with the sky guy that he believed in. My father was a vote in every election as a dem patriot when he was alive. How he used to rattle on about how Nixon was a crook…that was one of my first memories believe it or not. He thought that Trump was a no good shmuck and that was way back in the 80’s/90’s.

    • Golly Gee says:

I wonder if Trump sees Pence as competition for 2024 and is trying to undermine him, by bad mouthing him to his base when Pence won’t bow to his commands. It makes no difference that Pence CAN’T do anything about Georgia, Trump will paint him as a traitor anyway.

  17. Coco says:

If ‘The Wizard of Oz’ was remade today, Mike Pence would play both ‘Dejected Kansan in background’ and ‘Flying Monkey #3.’

    • Chanteloup says:

      Thank you for that!
Is ivanka the wicked witch “I’m melting, I’m melting” She IS wicked and has had enough plastic surgery

  18. elle says:

jesus h – I would not have clicked on this story had I known I would have been served a nearly life-sized photo of Nagini. My eyes.

  19. jferber says:

Mike Pence DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER to declare Trump president. Mike Pence knows this. No vice president or president or Congress or Supreme Court can confer the presidency on someone. Only the American people can do that and the people have spoken.

  20. Valerie says:

With what? Every day he comes up with a new way to prove to the world that he is the most unqualified person for the job. He has no idea about anything. He doesn’t know any of the rules, and the ones that he’s vaguely aware of, he disregards because that is what he’s done his entire life. He ran the White House the way he ran his life, straight into the ground. Good riddance, asshole.

  21. Lady Luna says:

That is on creepy picture of her in the background. Geez.
