I thought that with couture, though while exclusive, it should at least be wearable.

I would watch a Cardi B/ Charming Potato remake of The Bodyguard. Idc. Idc. It sounds like cheesy goodness.

James Bennett, one of many. We’ve made so many advances but I just want a job where my boss is NOT a sexist douchebag.

Wow. I just read the article about James Bennett. Full disclosure, I knew him in college. He was in my class, his on again/off again GF lived across the hall from me first year and I knew her pretty well the whole time we were there. We had classes together. He was a very hard-working, smart guy and a brilliant writer. But even then there was something odd about his dealings with women? I thought it was just specific to him and his girlfriend, and their relationship, but piecing it all together now it’s part of a pattern. I am not saying he was abusive or anything, but he was……arrogant? Callous? Emotionally stunted/confused? Maybe all three. I’m not sure, but this is all very weird. I followed the story of him getting fired last year, and it was utterly justified. He thinks way too highly of himself and clearly has issues with women.

Ted Lasso is SO GOOD! Who would think a show based on an American coach going to a UK soccer/football team would be a feel good hit?? Believe!

I would hope Cardi wouldn’t sign on for a lame remake…maybe an original comedy though?

I’d watch that. I like Michael B. Jordan as the bodyguard.

    Can Cardi B act?

I loved Ted Lasso! It’s one of the few shows I’ve seen where every character grows and changes. Like Crazy Ex Girlfriend and The Good Place, it shows that you can have an emotionally honest comedy show with drama if you bother to have realistic characters.

  8. Ted Lasso is sooo good.

Make Cardi the bodyguard and I’m in!

  10. Joh says:

Shame there are no new stories or writers out there, forcing movies to repeat the same stories.

Late to the post, but yes ted lasso! I love the show, and agree that the women characters are key to that love. Keely is my fave

We didnt need the OG Bodyguard, we definitely don’t need a remake
