Melania Trump is so jealous of Dr. Jill Biden & how much good press she’s getting

President Trump Holds Departure Ceremony Before Florida Travel

The Trumps haven’t even been out of the White House a full month, and I can already feel the combination of boredom and thirst coming out of Mar-a-Lago. Donald Trump must be climbing the walls, especially given the sh-tty performances of his sh-tty lawyers during the impeachment trial. He doesn’t have Twitter as an outlet, so all he can do is scream at people through the phone. Meanwhile, Melania is alternating between vapidity, self-care and seething with jealousy. CNN had a lengthy story about how Melania is filling her days and they make her sound so basic and so jelly. Some highlights:

How Melania spends her days at Mar-a-Lago: “She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again) and has dinner with Donald on the patio,” said one person familiar with Melania Trump’s schedule at Mar-a-Lago, her home in Palm Beach, Florida. “Rinse and repeat. Every day.” Another person familiar with her daily routine confirms Trump’s affinity for the private club’s spa facilities, noting it is not unusual for her to spend several hours a day there, enjoying the benefits at her disposal, often going twice in a 24-hour period, for massages, nail care, facial treatments or other items on the menu.

Bitterness & regret: Yet there have been moments of bitterness and regret, say several people with knowledge of Trump’s conversations of late, most notably since Joe Biden’s inauguration and with respect to the activities of her successor, Jill Biden.

Why she didn’t immediately condemn the Jan. 6th insurrection: “She could see how it was going to go for her,” said one former White House official who spoke to CNN, noting that Trump felt she was in a lose-lose predicament whether she spoke publicly or not. If she condemned the violence, her husband and his base would be angered and it would create a stir about her breaking with the President. And by staying silent, she was implying support for what happened. “Once (the insurrection) happened, she knew there was nothing to gain for her by speaking out or doing something — so she didn’t do anything,” the former White House official said.

She actually wanted to do to Biden’s inauguration: Disappointed by the way she left Washington, she has been “bitter and chilly” at times toward her husband, upset that her image became collateral damage in his quest to denounce the election and procure a peaceful transfer of power, two of the people familiar with her thinking of late note.

She’s super-mad that everyone loves Dr. Jill Biden: Melania Trump’s most fervent ire has come from watching Jill Biden kick off her East Wing tenure on nearly the antithesis of the path Trump took. Biden moved into the White House right away, for starters, and had a staff hired and fleshed out within two weeks of the inauguration… Jill Biden already has nearly a dozen full-time staff members and is expected to add more. Though Melania Trump reportedly left a note of welcome for Biden in the Executive Residence, she has still not spoken to her, eschewing a long-held tradition of first ladies.

Melania can’t believe how much press Jill is doing: The attention Biden has been getting has not gone unnoticed by Trump, say those who know her. Though she is lamenting the media focus on her successor, Trump turned down several similar offers from national publications throughout her time as first lady, according to two people who worked closely with her. When presented with offers and asks for participation, it was Trump who would not want to do them. In four years, she never did an interview with a national publication. “Donald was more upset about Melania not getting magazine covers than Melania was,” said Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who served as Trump’s senior adviser during her first several months as first lady before the relationship went south.

Melania is second-guessing herself, sort of: The lack of interest in sitting for an interview, out of privacy and concern for what might be asked and require an answer, was for Trump a paramount strategy, according to Wolkoff. Now Trump, according to multiple people familiar with her thinking, is second-guessing that tactic. But the former first lady is not blaming herself in hindsight, she’s blaming others — former staff members, magazine editors, and corporations and foundations that opted not to work with her because of the former President’s political rhetoric. Trump has recently been noting to acquaintances that she thinks she could have participated in more media opportunities and policy events had her staff been more accommodating to her needs. “That seems unfair, but typical to blame everyone else,” said someone familiar with Trump’s thinking during her White House years. “Everyone knows Melania Trump does what she wants when she wants, and not one staffer on her team could have done anything to change that.”

[From CNN]

I mean, it goes on and on and you can just feel the seething. Melania was so lazy and she thought her laziness was clever, that she would be seen as a beautiful, unknowable, mysterious enigma. But then everyone was like “damn, she’s lazy trash and we’re so happy that Jill Biden is our First Lady now!” So Melania has to blame everyone else for not convincing her to get off her ass and Be Best. And how many spa treatments can someone have every day, multiple times a day? Damn.

Hmmm i truly believe she DGAF about anything, she is happy to do the bare minimum and pamper all day.

    • Esmom says:

ITA. This is who she is, always has been. And I give her credit for knowing that any press she did would expose that. I’m not sure I buy that she regrets that now, because there’s only one way any interviews might have gone while she was such a disengaged, apathetic, vapid, out of touch First lady: Terribly.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Oh, I have NO DOUBT she’d've loved to do “covers”, like when she did that shoot in Egypt, and billed the taxpayer over $100 THOUSAND for a day’s use of a hotel room (not even overnight!). She’d have LOVED to be photographed in couture…as long as you didn’t talk to her or ask any kind of questions other than what designers she likes.

This beyotch did less than NOTHING. No wait, I take that back. She DESECRATED Jackie Kennedy’s Rose Garden and make it look like a cemetery courtyard. I hope one thing Jill does at some point is restore it to it’s former beauty/glory.

    • My3cents says:

At this point the only Melania I give a f**k about is fake Melania.

    • Bread and Circuses says:

Yeah, I doubt this article really reflects Melania’s mindset, although it might be a version of her mindset as filtered through her husband’s grievances and then passed on to the media third-hand.

Really, I suspect Melania is a honey-badger; she does not GAF.

  2. booboocita says:

The news of Harry & Meghan’s pregnancy has me in such a good mood that I really should be more benevolent and magnanimous about this news. But I’m just too darn petty. So excuse me when I say: Lady, what the hell did you expect? You don’t move to the WH for months after your husband’s inauguration, you don’t fully staff your office once you’re there, you do everything half-assed if at all, you show not an iota of compassion or empathy — and you expect praise and positive press? For what?

  3. Ashley says:

Coulda-woulda-shoulda. She wasted her opportunity to be anything more than a complicit piece of silicone filled trash. Dr. Jill Biden makes me so happy!! It feels fantastic to see a human being that actually cares about American lives as First Lady. Her White House lawn valentines were so cute!

    • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

That was SUCH a “teacher move” lol. I used to do huge decorations like that for every holiday/season (and then some lol). And to then see her, Joe, and the pups going out, dressed like a NORMAL couple, holding hands… Oh man… I’ve MISSED seeing “normal” for what feels like an eternity!

One more “cute” thing was when she took Kamala over to the windows in the VP office where she had put “Jill loves Joe” on the panes for V-Day… so sweet!!! ❤️ this couple!

    • AlpineWitch says:

🤣🤣 a ‘complicit piece of silicone filled trash’ will remain with me for all day. OMG dying here 😆

    • That last sentence SUMS Melania and her White House Years Up: “Everyone knows Melania Trump does what she wants when she wants, and not one staffer on her team could have done anything to change that.”

I think Melania knowingly sold herself to Trump and she is living the high class, former call girl, vapid life she wants and loves. I find her a complete waste of space and the perfect mate for The Donald.

  4. Muffintop says:

Surely she can’t actually enjoy getting multiple spa treatments every single day. That’s got to become tedious and boring… right?

    • FancyPants says:

Wouldn’t that eventually start irritating your skin instead of helping it? Wouldn’t your fingers and toes start turning pruney? Gah, what a useless existence.

    • Snazzy says:

Honestly I do not like Melania AT ALL, but if I had a spa at my disposal, I’d be there non stop as well …

    • cassandra says:

      I mean, I wouldn’t say no to a massage a day haha

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Exactly… I can see starting or ending each day with a massage…sigh… I used to get a 90 min. massage every 2 wks. before Covid. It was sooooo nice! An amazing massage in front of the fireplace on the cooler days, hot shower, and a then nap… sigh… it was a great day! lol

      • Jaded says:

I’ve been treating myself to a once-a-month deep tissue massage – mostly because I have some lower back/SI joint issues and it really helps loosen things up, but damn I literally float off the table when the RMT is done.

    • Bibi says:

I’m against all things Trump and Melaaaaania, but I once had full access to a professionnal spa treatment facility in a hotel complex, no charge for about 3 weeks and let me tell you, I waaanted to go twice a day but I thought that was abusing the host (my sis) so the minute I was out of the spa door, I dreamt about next day. I’m in with melanie on this one. She knows her spa sh*t. And a dinner on the patio afterwards, every everning sounds nice with my family, just not with her husband. lol

      • JanetDR says:

No going to lie, I was a little jealous when I read that! I would have no trouble rotating through the services at a spa. Love all of it!

    • Annetommy says:

Does her son feature in her day at all? He doesn’t seem to get a mention.

    • derps says:

The only people I ever heard of doing multiple spa treatments day after day turned out to be using the spa to carry on an affair. Given we are discussing the Trumps…well, I don’t see how everyone isn’t going straight to “Melania’s getting a happy ending one way or another.”

    • Lizzie says:

My read is she has no friends to spend time with nor interests outside of maintaining her looks.

      • emmlo says:

It’s true. other than the one lady who wrote a book about her, we never hear about Melania having any friends at all.

  5. BearcatLawyer says:

Katie Keen, take notes…this is who you will become unless you develop a personality and work ethic.

    • Amy says:

I don’t understand the fascination of including a member of the royal family in every single post. This has story has absolutely nothing to do with Kate LOL

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

This is the same way M&H have been drawn into EVERY article/comment section in the BM. It’s insane!

      • Lizzie says:

Au contraire, there have been many comments noting the similarities between Melanie and Keen. Two peas in the same lazy pod.

      • Nic919 says:

The main difference between them is that Melania is no longer living large at the taxpayers expense, secret service expenses excluded. Kate will continue to spend hundreds of thousands on clothing alone while others in her country will starve to death.

  6. Lightpurple says:

I do hope the people at the spa are compensated well but I doubt it.

Melania made her choices. She chose to be the pampered, lazy, trophy wife of a maniac, with no accomplishments of her own. She chose to stay with that maniac when he sought and took the presidency. She chose to do absolutely nothing while in the White House except to whine that people didn’t fawn over her on the rare occasions when she made an appearance with her wig on straight or looked bewildered in her Christmas decoration horror videos. She chose to wear an insulting jacket to visit caged children. She chose to decimate the Office of Protocol. These choices cannot be blamed on Dr. Biden, an accomplished, vibrant, active woman whose choices don’t include whining, bitterness, and sloth.

    • Christin says:

I hope someone from the spa or another employee sold the story.

My guess is that that these lengthy visits rarely result in generous or even fair tips. I could be wrong, but the whole family oozes an entitled attitude.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

I would bet EVERYTHING I own that she does NOT “tip” ANYONE, EVER. I’d bet she thinks they work for her, they have their “salary”, and that’s it. Money is only something to be deposited in her offshore accounts, not something *she* will “deal” with.

    • ➕💯. Preach it LightPurple. “I DON’T REALLY CARE. DO U?”

  7. sunny says:

So many modern first ladies have been brilliant, hard-working, and accomplished outside of their marriages. They also had issues they cared about. Old girl only cares about herself and was a terrible, lazy, first lady. I’m laughing at this story so much.

  8. FancyPants says:

Sorry, Mel- you had every same opportunity as Dr. Biden has, and you squandered it all to sit there and do nothing. Oh wait, you wouldn’t even do that for almost a year- you insisted on sitting in NYC instead! Go away.

  9. Catwoman says:

All those spa treatments can’t cure the ugliness that emanates from within her soul.

  10. Roo says:

She’s mad because she is realizing that whatever book she was working on the day of the insurrection – the WH furniture and tchotchkes book – won’t be received as well as anything Dr Jill does. She won’t be getting the NYT interview or the Vogue cover story because no one cares for her or respects her. She played herself.

As for the frequent spa visits, I wonder just how many handsome hunks work at the spa? 😏

    • Tiffany says:

      DING DING DING DING !!!

And also, she thought that she would be equal to FLOTUS Obama and a publisher would offer her eight figures to start on her biography the minute she left office.

      Now she know. HA !!!!

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

I’m sure the RNC will buy up all the copies, like they did for Jr’s book, so it “shows” as sales.

      • Miranda says:

Presumably, she would’ve just bought up a bunch of copies of Michelle’s book and slapped on new dustcovers with her own photo. And I think we all know she’d be too lazy to run it through Microsoft Word and switch out every mention of “Barack” with “Donald”.

    • ennie says:

      👀 just What I was thinking…

  11. Miranda says:

The thing is, getting good press as a Republican First Lady is so incredibly easy. Literally all you have to do is NOT BE AN ASSHOLE. Pose for pictures in a pretty dress, spout some platitudes, put up some decorations, and don’t bitch about everything. And Melania couldn’t even manage that.

    • emmlo says:

YEP. None fucks given about the troops, or sick children, or any of the literal easiest parts of a public life. She couldn’t even pretend to look happy and quietly stand next to Donald.

    • Lucy2 says:

This! She could have done something, anything, and would have been praised for it.
It’s clear she cares about nothing but herself, and couldn’t even fake it.
Lol at her being concerned about her “image” too. She’s the third trophy wife of a gross loser and a former “model”, it’s not like anyone thought highly of her before all this.

      • Eleonora says:

Yes. She could have taken up a cause that was non-controversial and gotten praise for it, or even have let it leak that she was sad by something the administration did, and prople would have seen her as “not as bad as Trump”.

  12. Simalu says:

Those two truly deserve each other. Empty shell of a human being, with tons of gloss and void of any thought or personality. I AM SURE the staff had suggested numerous things to her, she just declined them because she has nothing to say. Good riddance!

  13. emmlo says:

This is a woman with no inner life, no close friends, no hobbies or causes, and who doesn’t particularly enjoy the company of her husband or his family. Her only son is at an age where he doesn’t need her to take care of him much, and may even be embarrassed and irritated when she tries to spend time with him. It sounds like she will slowly fossilize into her new money trash life and it’s what she deserves. All the massages and mani-pedis in the world won’t nourish your soul, Mel.

  14. vertes says:

How can M & the creep still be @ mar-a-lago? I thought the maximum stay there is 3 weeks? Is Baron with them?
Mel avoided the opportunities she had to do anything positive for 4 years. Do we really think she’s jealous of Jill? I think Mel is too arrogant to want any admiration from the masses.

    • Jaded says:

Apparently there’s some clause stating that if you’re an employee of Mar-a-Lago you can live there. Now I doubt Dump has a title or does anything of merit to deserve to live there but lawyers gotta lawyer and they found him a loophole.

  15. lanne says:

I don’t really care, do you?

  16. Darla says:

All day in the spa and dinner with that repugnant repulsive blob of oil…good god this is hell. I guess she earned her spot.

    • Normades says:

I don’t believe she can stand his presence long enough to have dinner with him. If they do they probably don’t talk during any of it.

  17. Alexis says:

Her life is literally ruined. She used to be a trophy wife with all of NYC at her disposal, and now she’s trapped like a rat in Hitler’s spa. She’s gotta be SEETHING.

  18. Nic919 says:

No First Lady was ever disliked by the press as she is because none of them were despicable humans who were complicit in so many crimes and callous to the pain others have felt. She deserves all the disdain.

  19. Veronica S. says:

If we assume this article is real, like…what the f*ck is wrong with these people? Like, she made it clear from the time she entered that position that she hated the job. Why would you expect people to care about you and give positive media feedback?? She and her husband really do deserve each other.

  20. elAnnoy says:

Fake Melania is the one who deserves the spa visits after all the work she had to put in…

  21. Emily’s mom says:

    Ok, but where is Barron??

  22. Rapunzel says:

What about Melanie’s chain migrating parents? Where are they? Taking care of Baron somewhere in Palm Beach? Does Baron even live with Mel and Trump? Why isn’t spending time with her son on this daily agenda?

As for the spa visits, my guess is Mel may have found a replacement for her Tiffany’s security guard boyfriend there.

  23. vegasschmegas says:

Not one mention of activities with her son….”helping him with homework, discussing his day…..” Yada yada. Just swanning in and out of spa appointments. Can’t wait to read his autobiography once the old man kicks. It’ll make “Mommy Dearest” look like a Disney fairytale.

  24. Leah says:

    Keep crying Melania.

So glad that they are gone out of our WH and a family who actually love eachother are there now. Saw a picture of Champ and Major playing in the snow yesterday and thought to myself “how wonderful it is to see something so normal happening at the WH, now where’s Kitten Biden?” Lol.

  25. Steph says:

What is meant by “national publication” here? Are we talking outlets that have traditionally been in print like newspapers and magazines?
I’m asking because while I can only think of one, it’s a memorable. She did that interview on the plane were she claimed she wrote the speech she was about to deliver herself. After, we found it she plagiarized it from Michelle Obama.

  26. Steph says:

Where does her son go to school? The transition took place in the middle of the school year and quite frankly I don’t think they believed until the week before that they’d be moving.

    • lucy2 says:

I’m wondering if he’s continuing with his current school remotely. There was such a big deal made out of not interrupting his school year in 2017 (and costing millions because Melanie didn’t want to leave NY).
Either way, hope he’s not at in person school, because I have to think other kids would be pretty tough on him at the moment. And he’s just a kid who didn’t ask for any of this.

  27. Nina Simone says:

Is that why she created an office and was posting for Valentine’s Day? To sort of reclaim her narrative? Melania, it is too little too late.

  28. Liz version 700 says:

You never did anything but the bare minimum lady! Oh and you are married to an insurrection mongering jerk. Get used to it.

  29. Boo says:

It’s absolutely laughable that she would think the insurrection had an effect on her image. What image? She was a crap First Lady. And Dr Jill makes her own good press. She hasn’t stopped making her own good press. It just comes naturally to her. She didn’t put those hearts on the lawn for press, she did it for us. Melania couldn’t possibly understand.

  30. Lizzie Bathory says:

“Had her staff been more accommodating to her needs.” Translation: “They did the best they could with a FLOTUS who didn’t live full time at the White House & is often out of it due to a pill addiction.”

  31. Bettyrose says:

I need a pedicure so badly. I can’t even criticize someone spending all day at the spa. I have no sympathy for Melania. She made her golden bed. But I personally wouldn’t want to be contrasted to Dr. Biden. She’s by all accounts a truly dazzling human being. Smart, kind, compassionate and does it with grace.

    • JanetDR says:

I used some foot “masks” yesterday after a soak in the tub and going after my heels with a pumice stone. Still reveling in how good it feels! Not as good as having someone else do that for me though.

      • bettyrose says:

I should do that. I’ve been giving myself monthly facials, but caring for your own feet is not nearly as nice as a warm foot soak and massage.

  32. TheOriginalMia says:

This woman is ridiculous. She didn’t want to be First Lady. She didn’t come to Washington until she was good and ready, and when she got there she did not even do the bare minimum, she did the barest of appearances. She didn’t have a signature initiative until BeBest, which was just a way of pretending her husband wasn’t the biggest, nastiest troll on the internet. This heifer wore a freaking jacket that stated her feelings about caged children and other immigrants for all the world to see. She wouldn’t even extend the courtesy that was given to her by the Obamas. She fired the WH ushers so there would be no one to welcome the Bidens to the WH. This witch can have all the seats.

  33. Nellystar says:

I thought she didn’t care, do you?

  34. grabbyhands says:

I’m a petty bish so I am enjoying every bit I’m reading about her being eaten up with jealousy. I hope it is true.

She was a lazy, selfish co-signer of her husband’s policies and she deserves every bit of the ill will she is getting now. Especially since she is following his tactic of blaming everyone around her for her lack of popularity except herself. Just because she didn’t want the job, that didn’t mean she didn’t have to actually do it.

  35. Ann H says:

How many months did Melania stall for until she finally moved into the Whitehouse? She probably would have had better press if she moved in sooner.

  36. Jaded says:

I can’t wait for the day Dump’s financial world comes crashing down and Melania can’t spend every day at the spa. Get a f*cking job you jealous, grifting ho.

  37. RedWeatherTiger says:

The famous Mar-a Lago spa where then-teenage Virginia Giuffre was working when Ghislaine Maxwell recruited her to be sexually assaulted and trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein? THAT spa?

  38. You Know Me says:

Ahhh is Third Lady’s fee-fees hurt?? She should Be Best & accept she isn’t great. She will never divorce, she enjoys the mayhem.

  39. Mrs. Peel says:

Petty, bitter, empty woman – she married her equal in every way.

  40. Lizzie says:

Melanie turned down interviews so of course she wasn’t on the cover of major magazines. She knows she is uneducated and afraid of coming off bad. Apparently the only thing she could speak intelligently about is spa treatments. Dr. Biden is not only well educated but has spent her career speaking in public.
Also, Melanie did not want to answer question about her visa.

  41. A says:

It’s amazing to me how much these people feel ENTITLED to something like love, affection, or respect. Like no, you don’t automatically get those things just because you are the president or the first lady. You have to earn that shit, adn if you act like a jackass while you’re occupying the position, then you will be treated as the jackass that you are. Sorry Melania. Fuck off.

  42. L4frimaire says:

Melania Trump never seemed like she was interested in the job of being First Lady and she never wanted to evolve in her abhorrent views which matched her vile husband’s. She never took on a platform that was workable and ceded some of her role to thirsty Ivanka. Jill Biden is now the First Lady, she’s enthusiastic and wants to show she wants to work and reach out to everyone. Of course the press is interested because she’s more receptive to them and more approachable. Plus it helps that her husband isn’t a racist ,birther who wanted to instigate a coup. The Trumps can rot in Mar a Lago .

  43. The Recluse says:

Based on how bright and big her smiles were the day she left the White House, I don’t think she regretted Donald’s loss…until they settled in Florida and she had to deal with his sulking and tantrums all day every day. I would go crazy if I spent that much time in a spa: I got writing and painting to do and can’t bear purposeless idleness. But that spa may be her refuge from her husband’s constant whining and ire…as well as a possible meeting place? I doubt she cares about the loss of responsibility that came with being FLOTUS, but she sure does miss the prestige and adoration that came with it. She’s like her foul spouse in that regard, lazy but privileged and jealous of her position.
I really do wish someone would investigate how the blazes this vapid gold digger got here on an Einstein visa…and then see her stripped of it all and deported, parents, sister and all.

  44. Mina_Esq says:

Melania doesn’t seem to have any friends.

  45. Andrea says:

Melania does not truly care about Jill Biden because she is too busy getting her spa treatments and happy endings from her boyfriend. She is probably pissed off she had to actually do the bare minimum for 4 years much like Duchess Kate is upset there is no one else to do the work she loathes to do. Surprised they aren’t divorced yet. Shouldn’t she hightail it before the courts come into play. Doesn’t she understand this is a sinking ship with her orange husband taking down the ship??

    • Lizzie says:

I’m torn, either she is having trouble lining up rich old man as husband number two or trump has immigration dirt on her. Social pariahs are not great trophy wives so she might have to bide her time.

  46. Deering24 says:

Bleh. The only worthwhile thing Melania did as First Lady was inspire Laura Benanti and Stephen Colbert. https://www.vulture.com/2021/01/laura-benanti-melania-trump-colbert-sings.html
