She does look great, the make-up really transforms her into another person. I watched a documentary about this crime and the whole rise, fall and rise again of Gucci and how it got stronger and better. It’s so wild, and the Italian location just adds to the drama.

I completely agree with that review of The Courier.

  3. Destiny says:

I love lady Gaga but damn I love her more when she doesn’t have lip fillers

    • Destiny says:

Which seems to be the case here

    • Silent Star says:

@Destiny, I was going to say the same thing. I’m relieved to see that she is going natural for this film. Authentic for the era. Her lip fillers were the worst part of A Star Is Born. Completely distracting. I couldn’t stop thinking about them throughout the film!

    It’s Cheri Oteri…

Omg, I can’t wait to see The Capote Tapes.

  6. lucy2 says:

This is a good look for her. She’s someone who favors a more natural look.

I only like a couple of the coats in that collection. Overall kind of drab? But a few of them were great.

    • Elizabeth says:

I guess this is more natural for her… looks very “done” to me

    • h-barista says:

It’s not so much a natural look as in little makeup but natural as in embracing her Italian heritage rather than experimenting with everything else.

She looks great here in retro Italian glamour mode, and she looked good in A Star is Born as well.

Years ago Dominick Dunn had a story in Vanity Fair about the Gucci family and their crimes. It was a good read.

I miss Dominick Dunn, Vanity Fair lost a lot when he died.

    • Jane Smith says:

I loved Dominik Dunne. What was the name of his show? I really enjoyed his comments. Off to YouTube!!….

    • clomo says:

He was a family friend, an in-law of mine lost her son and she and Dom started up a scholarship thing in Fort Worth for young people, it was related to victims somehow or honoring them, can’t remember, I was too young to know who he really was except somehow important and an actresses’s father and I had seen Poltergeist. He was a good guy, so sad about his daughter.

    • Liz version 700 says:

I loved Dominick Dunn too he was such a good narrator and storyteller

    • Dee Kay says:

Dunn was a great writer. Great. B/c he lost his daughter in a violent murder, his coverage of murderers (investigations and trials) was really personal and powerful.

  8. Liz version 700 says:

She looks gorgeous, it suits her

  9. Singhsong says:

“The Swans of Fifth Avenue” by Melanie Benjamin is a great novel about Capote and his “Swans”. Highly recommend, we have a great talk about it in our book club.

  10. Ann says:

Agree, it IS amusing to watch Cumberbatch pretend to be anything but Blue-Blooded. Talk about miscasting Whitey Bulger.

  11. Dee Kay says:

If critics say that Gucci movie is half as good as it looks, I will see it on opening day.

  12. Lex says:

She reminds me a bit of Jordan Belfort’s first wife in Wolf of Wall Street

  13. Diana says:

She looks gorgeous but why real fur? 😭

I love Gaga’s haircut (wig?) here. I had a similar cut several years ago and it was one of my best looks ever. Unfortunately, my beloved hairstylist had to quit the profession after developing carpal tunnel in both wrists — her doctor flat-out told her “if you don’t find another line of work, you won’t be able to pick up a penny from the table by the time you’re forty.” I haven’t found anyone yet nearly as good as she was.
