I know many people don’t care about This is Us actor Justin Hartley’s love life, but it was big news when he blindsided his then-wife, Chrishell Stause of Selling Sunset, with divorce papers in December, 2019. Justin listed their separation date as July of that year but they went to the Emmys together in September and there were photos of Justin and Chrishell at events in October and November. Justin was previously married to his Passions co-star, Lindsay Korman, from 2004 to 2012. He didn’t confirm his relationship with Chrishell until 2014. However there were rumors about the timeline. Chrishell and Justin first met when Chrishell was working on All My Children with Justin’s then-wife, Lindsay.
Anyway Justin, 44, is married again. I guess he had a while to know this woman so it’s not super quick. In the gossip timeline it seems suspect though. Justin and his new wife, Sofia Pernas, 31, first met on the set of The Young and the Restless in 2015. Supposedly they didn’t start dating until May, 2020 though. That sounds similar to his deal with Chrishell. Here’s more, from US:

The couple first sparked marriage rumors on May 2 when they were spotted wearing wedding bands on their left hands while hanging out at the beach in Malibu.
Two weeks later, they walked the red carpet together at the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday, May 16, and wore matching rings on their left hands. The outing was the first time the duo made a public appearance as a couple.
Justin has a 16-year-old daughter, Isabella, from his marriage to Lindsay Korman, and from what I can find Sofia has no children. This guy has a pattern! From what Chrishell said he didn’t even talk to her about their issues and just filed for divorce. He’s only 44 and this is his third marriage to a costar. He’ll be married two to three more times more before he’s retirement age at this rate.

I’ve loved Justin since passons and followed him onto Smallville and This Is Us. He is a great actor but his personal life is a disaster.

Yes, and when he does, she has no one to blame but herself! I am sick of women thinking that men with horrible issues with fidelity, addiction and other disturbing issues, think that it will be different while he is married to them. I know it’s a vicious cycle of women thinking that they can help their men change, but they can’t. Men will never change unless they do it on their own. Such a vile POS to treat to former wives this way.
I used to watch the Young and the Restless after school when I was a kid! I haven’t seen that show in decades. I don’t mean to hijack the thread, but are Nicki and Victor and Jack still on the show? Do/did these actors have any interaction with them (long lost children, business rivals, kidnappers who stuck someone in a cage for a year, SORAS’d kids of Nick or Victoria Newman, several of these at the same time?
Nikki, Victor, and Jack are still around! I watched when Justin and Sofia were on the show and I don’t remember them ever interacting with each other. Justin played Adam Newman (and was superb). Sofia’s character wasn’t as connected – she dated Noah, Nick and Sharon’s son.

He definitely has a type! I think Sofia looks like a 50/50 mix of Lindsay and Chrishell. It’s super odd IMO.

This picture of her, she looks borderline anorexic and prematurely aged. So much so that I went and looked up other pictures of her, although I have no clue who either one of them is, but the difference in the photo is striking. I thought for sure she must be older than him, so much older that it piqued my interest. She looks way younger and better in almost every other photo of her that I saw. Bad styling, bad makeup, bad angles, bad lighting. Poor woman. At least she looks like she’s enjoying herself.
To be fair, she doesn’t always look like…. this. Lululu is right, most pictures you’ll find of her would be better. These are AWFUL pictures of her- well, not just these in particular, really the pictures from the whole event are- but she’s actually about as far away from awful-looking as I am from being a Hollywood star. I don’t know who was responsible for her look but they’ve done her SUCH a disservice they need to be fired. The hair, the dress, the makeup, it’s all bad bad BAD. I couldn’t get over how unflattering this whole look is when I saw the pictures of the two of them from the night. I watch her show Blood and Treasure (a genuinely fun watch, if anyone is looking for a kinda dumb fun, action-y, summery show that doesn’t take itself very seriously) and she is absolutely beautiful in that. I genuinely don’t know how you take the “raw ingredients” of someone who is that good-looking and make them look like THIS, but ooof.
I think she just has a mature-looking face. I always thought she looked naturally beautiful; I don’t detect a lot of plastic surgery here.
I wish her well. I hope the marriage benefits her. One day, their relationship will conclude and she will get to be in pictures where she can see out of her left eye again without his jaw in the way. I hope, when that day comes, she’s got her ducks in a row and her plan in place.

I never watched Passions because it was too extreme for me but i was big into soaps in the 2000s and remember Justin and Lindsay as a couple as they were pretty popular. I was surprised when they split but had never thought until now aboit the sletchy timeline of Justin and Chrishell and how that might have overlapped with Lindsay’s time on AMC. Big YIKES. I’d always assumed J&C met through Y&R. Definitely feel a bit less bad for Chrishell now but i still loved her on AMC and Days. Juston remains pretty trash.
