I saw a slow-motion video today of her doing a tumbling pass on the floor, and she is UNREAL! In some moments, she’d barely squat before extending and go flying through the air. It was like gravity didn’t apply to her.
As a woman, there is something so gratifying and inspiring about seeing a woman be this strong. I wish her all the best.
I was so ho hum about the Tokyo games until I realized it’s another chance for Simone to show off her skill and win more gold!

Also omg. I just got the design on her sleeve. I knew it was related to a goat, but I kept looking for the whole image of a goat and figured I was just missing it. Now i realize it’s the head of a goat. LOL.
I oddly enough really like that dress and no, I don’t think she looks pregnant.
I love the fabric but it would be way too much dress for me. She doesn’t look pregnant to me, the runway model does.
I got a very flowy nightgown to wear around the house when it’s hot, and I had no idea how much I LOVE a ton of fabric. I’m short, so usually it isn’t my thing, but dang, do I feel like a princess floating around my apartment in that nightgown. It has spaghetti straps and a sweetheart neckline, but the bottom is billowy, and I adore it. Not sure I could wear that much fabric in public, though!

Also, I cannot wait for In the Heights. The Elle article linked in the GFY post about it is SO GOOD. It really highlights the care and effort that went into this. It seems like its going to be incredible.

I’m so excited to live in the same timeline as Simone Biles! She is the greatest of all time! No other sport would penalize someone for landing more complicated mores, except for figure skating where they also punished a black woman for landing a flip.

Burchill is vile. I got suspended permanently from Twitter just for quoting lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail – in a conversation thread about that movie – in which I quoted lines the Black Knight said to King Arthur during their epic duel. I sent them multiple messages explaining the context of my tweet and those clueless buffoons still suspended me. Twitter is run by idiots and bigots.
I had to switch over to Coso.Social and have a side account at Mastodon for now.
My only regret is that I can’t go on Twitter to snitch to Eric Idle and John Cleese about those maroons.
