This is almost certainly BS, and yet I do wonder if Hollywood Life accidentally got it right or mostly right. The Bennifer Revival is, at most, about three months along. Those three months have been incredibly exciting for all of us early-’00s gossipers. But if gossip life has taught us anything, we should not get too far ahead of ourselves. My Bennifer goal is that they make it through the summer, walk the September Met Gala carpet together, and from there… well, who knows. Some of you hope they’ll make it to Christmas. That’s looking too far ahead, in my opinion! But what if… what if Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are already thinking about getting re-engaged? Not as a reality that will happen in the next month, but more like a “well, we should talk about where this is going eventually” thing.
Jennifer Lopez, 51, is “excited” for her future with Ben Affleck, 48. Now that their rekindled romance is burning “hot and heavy”, fans are clamoring for them to get engaged again. And much to our delight, HollywoodLife has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Jen would accept a proposal from Ben. However, she wants it to happen “naturally”.
“Jen has been prepared for a wedding for quite a while because that was what was going to happen with Alex [Rodriguez] and now that her relationship with Ben is so hot and heavy, she would 1,000 percent say yes if Ben were to pop the question to her again,” a source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.
“Everyone in Jen and Ben’s world would be very happy if they decided to get engaged and married. All of that will happen naturally just like their relationship is currently. It’s safe to say that engagement feelings are in the air and it will happen when it happens. But Ben is not going to do it just to do it or if her family wants it to happen. It will happen when they both want it. Their relationship is wonderful right now, so they are making the best of it and not allowing any unnecessary drama to creep in. They are busy, they are having fun and when an engagement happens, it will be the right time and a happy time for everyone,” our source adds.
“They’re very comfortable with each other and it shows,” a source close to Jennifer Lopez adds. “[This romance is] actually perfect for her life right now. She’s taking it day by day and is legitimately excited for the future. She feels the future they have is forever and she wants to protect that. Since all the press, they’ve been trying more and more to keep a low profile. She’s extremely happy to be back with him and will be trying to take a different, more private, approach with their relationship. She is just over the moon and trying to protect the relationship, but everything is going amazingly well”.
I actually think this is fine? If Ben asked, she would say yes, but she’s not begging him to ask or trying to push him in that direction (right now). It’s only been three months! Now, if they’re still together by Christmas, then will she want a proposal? Yes. She will. She expects men to fall head over heels in love with her (and most of them do). Now, that being said, her last two relationships were years-long affairs which did not end in marriage and divorce. So maybe she’s learning? And I’ve always thought that Ben doesn’t actually like being married and he’s just kind of douchey and gun-shy about commitment with every woman. So maybe they’ve both grown out of the “let’s get married, that will solve everything” vibe.

Your forgetting Chris Judd. She was married to him from 2001 – 2003. Right after breakup with Ben. Then she split from Chris Judd and married Marc Anthony in 2004.
@Low Country Lady she was with Judd when her and Ben met. she filled for divorce in July and by November her and Ben were engaged, I think. then she was with Marc a few months after Ben.
I think he’s a talented guy who battles alcoholism. And normally I would say this is a tabloid story that puts words in celebs’ mouths—but this time it’s accurate. We know JLo wants to be married/engaged and he’s just not going down that road again.

I can’t help but think that this is a PR relationship. Arod allegedly cheats on her, they break up a month later, and then she immediately starts dating Ben (who needs some PR help). Right away everyone is talking about Ben and Jen and not about Arod etc etc.
Arod was a PR/business agreement from the beginning. This is a showmance too but it’s clear Jen has always had real feelings for Ben and looks way happier with him than she ever did with Arod. Everything about that relationship was a forced photoshoot for the cameras
@BK I have never seen Jlo look as happy,giddy and lustful as she did when she was with Ben. He really must have broken her heart,maybe this is some sort of closure no matter the outcome.
What if, they really were madly in love, and Ben was too stupid and immature and blew it? I remember reading a lot of blinds around the time of Garner’s third pregnancy that these two had been dealing with each other again. I don’t really believe blinds, so who knows. Jetting off to Montana, Miami , & now possibly traveling to her estate in the Hamptons ( if the reports are to be believed!) Ben seems to love the ” honeymoon” phase of dating & that is where it is , despite their prior dating history.
JG & their daughter Violet are in Paris ( DM has pics of them) & DM has pics of Ben picking up Samuel. I don’t think this will be the holiday that JL meets Ben’s children…but who knows?
I don’t think marriage was a real option for Ben and Lindsay. They had family and career ties on opposite coasts and she never met his kids (for obvious reasons).
I predict Bennifer will get married. She’s already moved city and introduced her kids so she’s down for it. Ben seems like someone who likes being in a relationship, even if he’s a serial cheater. There were photos of Ben, his mom and his kids arriving at JLo’s house for dinner a couple weeks ago so it’s already looking more likely than Shookus.

There were pics on twitter on June 18. Just of Ben’s car but his mom, eldest daughter and son were visible.
Fans also saw them with some of their kids at Universal Studios yesterday so they’re definitely doing the blending thing.

Jccw: more like Sam went because Jennifer was in Paris. Ben left him with a nanny (I am guessing) to go to the Hamptons with JLo and her kids. There are pictures on Instagram of him hugging him goodbye that daily mail didn’t pick up.
It seems obvious to me that Ben really doesn’t want the closeness and daily-ness of marriage and he will check out of this long before that’s on the table; and honestly, I can see JLo growing bored after a while.
