As we discussed, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton got married over the holiday weekend. We knew that on Sunday/Monday, and then Monday evening, Gwen dropped some photos from her Oklahoma wedding! She looks so happy and so does Blake. I think and hope this one sticks for both of them. He was happy because they did it all on his big Oklahoma spread, and he even built a chapel on the property. She was happy because she got to plan her wedding just the way she wanted it, a classy/ranch affair with good food and their friends and families. Gwen’s wedding gown and reception dress were both Vera Wang:
Vera Wang made the two custom wedding dresses Gwen Stefani wore on her big day! Wang, 72, known for her signature bridal gowns, incorporated Stefani’s edgy personality into the garments.
The first, which Stefani wore while saying her “I dos” to Blake Shelton, was a custom lily white silk georgette gown with a sweetheart plunging neckline, cut away back, fitted bodice and high low hand tumbled tulle skirt.
She kept her hair simple for her big day, pulling her long blonde locks back under her white chapel length veil, which featured the hand embroidered names of Stefani, Shelton, and Stefani’s sons, Kingston James McGregor, 15, Zuma Nesta Rock, 12, and Apollo Bowie Flynn, 7.
A source previously told PEOPLE the boys would “have a large part” in Stefani and Shelton’s ceremony. They were a part of Stefani’s reception dress, too. A pair of hand sewn love birds symbolizing the couple highlighted hand pieced silk, crystal and sequin embroidered foliage around the waist and onto the skirt of the custom lily white Italian silk crepe and hand tumbled tulle strapless mini. Three baby love birds representing Stefani’s children were also on the ensemble.
Stefani paired the look with sky-high stiletto white cowboy boots by Le Silla and a shorter veil adorned with floral appliqués and a white bow. She accessorized with gold bangle bracelets, sparkling earrings, and a cross necklace.
The dresses were very “Gwen.” I even enjoy her reception look with the cowboy boots. It looks like Blake got to drive the “just married” golf cart to the reception too. Judging from the aerial photos of Blake’s property, I think they set up tents (high-class tents) for the reception and party. I hope everyone was vaccinated and they had a great time. Oh, and the cake – the cake is big and fun. Oh, and Carson Daly officiated the wedding! Because of The Voice. But Adam Levine wasn’t there!!

I don’t get people saying she has a new face. Been a fan since the 90s and I think the work she had done was very minimal and tasteful. She has always been a woman who loved makeup and styles changing, like contouring coming into fashion, can really change how somebody looks. People act like she went full Madonna or something.
@Testington That music video for “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” really does emphasize how much she resembles her 1995 self. The only differences I’ve noticed are her lips are slightly overdone (though certainly not by Instagram standards!!) and she’s much thinner now. She’s probably had Botox and fillers regularly, but I agree it looks good.

I guess Blake likes this type of look. I don’t really follow either of them but congrats.
I loved her when I was younger, but I suspect she was never actually very cool. She’s good at dressing up as being all kinds of different things, and I liked the thing she dressed up as then, but I don’t know that there’s much of a core person underneath it all. If you look at her life, she’s spent a lot of time changing herself to fit the men in it, from her brother to Blake.
Very few famous people were actually cool pre-fame. Musicians and theater geeks are often not cool.
I feel like Gwen is the type of person who changes her style to fit her partner.
Yes, all of her cowgirl routine is for Blake. And those photos scream the opposite to classy to me. All those country vibes and honestly she is what, 50? Shas 3 kids, two of them teenagers, she is divorced (no matter her shenanigans with the annulment). So all that fluffy white and that traditional cake and a veil. Seriously, too much, she is committed to acting as if she were never married, like she is acting if she is 25 marrying some rich hillbilly. Maybe not white or mixing it with something would have helped.
Eh, if she wants to wear a big fluffy gown for her second wedding, more power to her. I got re-married in my late 40s and I loved that vs my first wedding in my 20s, I could have the wedding *I* wanted without feeling pressure to do things a certain way. There is a DGAF vibe that is very liberating.

She literally carries totes that say “Build bridges not walls” in 2020. Weird behaviors for a Trump supporter.

I’ve said the exact same thing on here. Trump is against everything she is as a human being. And here’s a photo of Gwen with Michelle Obama at the state dinner, as has been mentioned three weeks before the 2016 election, and Blake was with her. There’s one of her with President Obama also. And one with her children with the Obamas.

Those are western style boots (through the shaft) but I don’t think they are cowboy boots. Which is all good I just thought they were going to have kick ass embroidery and a snip toe.
I think she looks stunning in both dresses, as she always does! I love her looks. It’s cute that Blake built the chapel, too. I wasn’t sure about them as a couple at first, but they have grown on me and they seem very happy together.
That black-and-white photo is gorgeous, and their dog Betty n the photo just makes it. The other photo with Betty sitting under part of her gown was so sweet also. Maybe it was a video.
Their new home on his ranch by the lake looks looks fantastic. I love the idea of this wedding being about family and all the children there: Gwen’s boys, both of her brothers’ children, her sister’s children, Blake’s sister’s children. And also having it out on their beautiful property in the country by the lake. One of the best weddings I’ve ever been to was like that, minus the lake.
Gwen was a beautiful bride. I also am glad she had her signature red lip. I don’t believe she got a boob job. She has had very tiny implants for years, since the first two children, I believe. And a recent video two weeks ago of them showing up at a little surprise backyard party for Blake’s birthday didn’t appear to show any difference. Her boobs were still small. I bet it’s just padded and pushed up the way the gown was designed for her.
The top of the wedding gown is fine, not my favorite, but I do love all of the tulle of the bottom of her gown. I’m not a huge fan of high-low hemlines either, but it doesn’t seem as drastic as others I’ve seen, at least from what I could tell. I’ve never been a huge fan of Vera Wang’s gowns overall. Some are stunning, some not so much. Overall, I think her wedding gown is very pretty on her. I would love to see the back without the veil, because it has a bow on it. Putting the embroidered names of Blake and Gwen and all of the kids at the bottom was so thoughtful and sweet, because it isn’t just them getting married. He’s marrying a family.

Her first wedding dress was SO iconic that this just looks blah in comparison. The party dress is great, but the actual wedding dress looks predictable for a ‘rock star’ in my opinion. The boots are amazing.

He did post his own Instagram photo with the boys with a passive-aggressive comment on celebrating the 4th. I believe that was because I feel he sometimes thinks people forget he is their father. But he doesn’t even do it that often in retaliation for all of Gwen’s photos with Blake and the kids.

@Humbugged, that did remind me of something I had forgotten. A year or two after the divorce, he gave an interview in Europe when he was touring. It wasn’t on TV, but it was a live interview in person. Wow, was he clueless. He talked about loving touring and glad to get back out in Europe. He brought up having to cancel a tour the year he and Gwen had their problems. He said he canceled his tour to work on the marriage, but she divorced him anyway so he might as well have gone on the tour. I’m paraphrasing. I mean, his wife found out he had been banging the nanny, who Gwen treated like family in a way, and he had been doing it for years, but since she eventually felt the marriage was over and divorced, why did he bother trying? Aw, poor Gavin. LOL
Really? I mean, his home life imploded. His marriage was spiraling down, if not over, and all three of his kids were affected during this. And he acts all affronted because she had the nerve to finally leave him after he had, gasp, canceled plans for an upcoming tour to try to save the marriage. Talk about entitlement and no self-reflection at all. He destroyed the marriage.

They aren’t really genuine cowboy boots. They are a nod to boots, but they are also high stilettos. I mean, they did get married on a ranch out in the country. It works. My niece listens to zero country music, and she once told me she would love to get married in a cool venue out in nature and wear a beautiful long gown with some type of boots underneath as she walked across the grass.
Yeah, she wears boots to her wedding now. And there’s her fake camouflage outfit with Blake. And country-ish music now. I don’t know if it’s insecurity? Like, hanging on to a man is more important than self-identity? (I think Duchess Kate is the same way).
Camouflage isn’t the problem. Gwen wore mutliple camouflage pants and/or jackets when she was with Gavin. There’s photos to show that. And Gavin wore camouflage pants also. You can see mutliple photos of both of Gwen and Gavin in camouflage. Lots of stars do.
Now, since getting with Blake and feeling sexy and obviously all loved up she admitted she has gone very girly. I think it’s all the sex and being loved up by Blake that did that. But that’s where the girl has gone cheesy. Lots of sparkly, super short Ice-skater-looking outfits on The Voice, etc. Some of her hairstyles are dated. Whereas, with Gavin most of the time she looked amazing on the street and Gwen in her touseled hair. She still does hit the mark at times, but, boy, at times does she wear some cheesy outfits too, which take away from the cool vibe she used to have.
I think Blake loves her legs. She has amazing legs. So she’s gone overboard with super short outfits and lots of fishnet wearing like Madonna started doing when she hit her late 40s.. Enough with the fishnets, Gwen.

Her makeup is just so heavy that I don’t think it goes with the ‘look’ of the dress. Even if she dialed back a tad… she said when she was married to Gavin that she wore makeup to bed and maybe even that he liked that. Sometimes now she posts pics on Instagram where she’s more natural and I think she looks much better. I also think the hair pulled back makes the look more severe. I know they are very different and it works for them but I also think the pictures would look better of the two of them if she’d just modified it a tad. Of course it’s her wedding… but everything doesn’t have to be ‘statement.’ I just think the pics would be so much nicer! I hope it lasts too. It is sweet that they connected.
Gavin is all salty. They married on July 3rd. For July 4th, on his Instagram Gavin posted a black-and-white photo of him with his three children walking down the beach. The photo was taken of them from the back as they were walking. His caption: “Happy 4th. We are going this way.” LOL

Since when is getting a boob job a sin? Plenty of celebrities have plastic surgery, including boob jobs? And plenty of women are mean to other women about boob jobs etc, but when they get extra cash to run to a plastic surgeon’s office for a touch up. Live and let live. I don’t like either dress. She’s gotten very thin in recent years and the top of the dress accentuates her boney chest. That coupled with the bad boob job is just not a good look.
I used to be a huge fan of hers but she has changed a lot since getting with Blake. I wish them luck. This is his 3rd marriage and something tells me…not his last. He has a pattern of dating a women for a few years, marrying her, and then dumping her after a couple years for someone new and exciting.
He left his first wife for someone new. But that wasn’t the case with Miranda. The bottom line is he didn’t walk out on Miranda for a new woman. He walked out because he caught her cheating.
I loved old school No Doubt, and she was a major style icon for me in the mid 90s. Her first wedding dress remains one of my favorite celeb ones ever. So beautifully constructed, and the ombré coloring at the bottom!

She had another wedding dress before her wedding to Gavin. I also remember her rocker wedding look in the No Doubt “Simple Kind of Life” video. That scene towards the very end of the video shot from behind with her walking away holding the baby and the way that gown flowed and the lighting Sophie Muller filmed it in was so stunning It’s such a melancholic song. I wonder if Sophie was there. She is a longtime friend of Gwen’s since the No Doubt days and even shot Blake’s God’s Country music video and was at one of their Thanksgiving dinners in Oklahoma.

That Galliano dress was so amazing and beautiful. Very iconic. These Vera Wang dresses are just ok, but she’s not a bridal designer I’m into, and I’m not into strapless gowns. The bow on her head is very Ariana Grande. I’m just not into Blake Shelton and don’t know his music, but she’s gorgeous, I like her music, so congrats to them.
