Kanye West’s Donda listening party featured $40 hot dogs and $50 chicken tenders. Would I pay $50 for chicken tenders? Probably, but I would expect 30 tenders. [Dlisted]

What is the meaning of the stocking over his head and face? I don’t get it.

  2. Coffeeisgood says:

I mean it’s one banana Michael. What could it cost, $10?

  3. CROOKSNNANNIES says:

So those under 18 won’t be able to “allow” sensitive content- how exactly is Instagram tracking age? How are they going to enforce that?

  4. ME says:

The funny thing is his “listening party” was a huge failure. The album isn’t even done even though he was supposed to release it Friday. People said all he did was walk around and play small samples of unfinished songs. This dude is a mess. I had high hopes because his one song “No child left behind” is really good…but I’ve only been able to hear one minute of it.

    • Ellie says:

It’s also funny because MB Stadium made all these headlines when it opened by pledging it would over low concession prices. It’s still not super cheap but it’s reasonable and the food is really good for stadium food. Clearly Kanye got to do since he bought out the stadium – and I am not surprised.

      • ME says:

This dude, who claims to be a billionaire, could have done better for his fans. I wonder if anyone bought food at those prices? I’d starve and hit up McDonald’s after lol.

    • Mike says:

His listening party was a massive success with over 3.3 million listeners on Apple Live, It crushed the previous record and anticipation for his album is sky high. Maybe it was dissappointing but it surely was successful.

      • ME says:

When I said it was a failure, I wasn’t talking about the number of people tuning in to watch. I was talking about the number of VERY disappointed fans.

  5. livealot says:

Ha! Anyone that still supports Kanye deserves whatever they get.

  6. Aphra says:

And put away those meat cookies — we are ONLY serving vegetarian cookies!
That’s why they cost so much.

  7. Beth says:

Kanye’s listening party was here in Atlanta. He was two hours late. Never said a word to the crowd, not even a “thanks for coming.” I hear, though, that KK and the kids were here.

    • Ellie says:

Yeah and I am seeing Donda listening party shirts all over the place in Atlanta. If a hot dog was $40, how much was he charging for those? Under no circumstances would I want to advertise that I attended that mess.

  8. olliesmom says:

This guy. And Brittney’s been under a conservatorship (shakes head).

    $35 kettle korn.

  9. steph says:

The people that still put money towards Kanye West’s products (and music) remain FOOLS.

  10. iconoclast59 says:

Between this nonsense and the prior nonsense with his Sunday “services,” I suspect that Kanye is working from the Trump playbook. IOW, it’s all about the grift now.

    • BothSidesNow says:

Yes, Kayne as his grifting is exhausting at this point. And why anyone would buy his clothing/shoes line boggles my mind.

Apparently he is featuring Kim’s SKIM line on his head? He probably has an investment in the company too.🙄

  11. BothSidesNow says:

This POS Alen Hadzic should not be competing at the Olympics this year. This POS has 8 years of sexual harassment and coercion and he is still allowed to participate? He has even sicken the rest of the team USA with his presence but he filed arbitration and was allowed to travel to Tokyo, but he isn’t allowed to house with other olympians.

When are the rich, white men going to be brought down several pegs, or more, before they learn that sexual assault and coercion is NOT acceptable? He should be under police custody during his entire stay in Japan. There are too many unsuspecting and vulnerable women for him to assault, and/or rape. And once he is out of the country, we will be labeled as the country that allows sexual predators lose. This makes me sick.

    • Willow says:

I know. The entire thing is absolutely horrible. Countless people have reported this predator, yet they made special accommodations so he could be an alternate at the Olympics. Then you have an amazing track & field athlete who receives a suspension for smoking weed, who gets booted, absolutely no way can they bend the rules. Oh, did I mention she’s a black woman and he’s a white man?

  12. AnnaC says:

IIRC when Kaley adopted the dog his/her name was already Dumpy and being a senior dog she decided not to change it.

  13. Lory says:

Ok so Britney needs a conservator but Kanye doesn’t??

    • fluffy_bunny says:

Kim has washed her hands of him so there’s no one who cares about protecting him. Not that Kim cared in the first place. Maybe one of the kids will attempt to rein him in when they are old enough.

  14. j. wilson says:

As the Kardashians proved for years, stupid people will buy anything.

  15. MissMerry says:

He and his team are so delusional. It’s kinda silly in this instance, but overall I feel it’s dangerous for powerful, influential people to live in such bubbles they charge that much for food (and get away with it, people stop buying this stuff!).

Reminds me of Lucille Bluth’s line “I mean it’s one banana, Michael, what could it cost, 10 dollars?” LOL

  16. Nico Pflaum says:

A quote from one of my favorites movies[Raising Arizona] comes to mind- “Son, you got a panty on yer head”

  17. stagaroni says:

OMG, I want a rabid porcupine to crawl down that racist, sexist creep’s pants in the Jezebel story. The poor reporter; she handled herself so well, but I am so disgusted that anyone thinks this is acceptable behavior.

    • Sammiches says:

And why didn’t the camera man say something or stand up for her in any way???? Like damn

  18. TheOriginalMia says:

My cousins were at the listening party. Baby cousin works at a radio station. Her mom was there and she was telling me about the listening party. He made them wait for hours, came out and sampled 3 songs, then told them to go home. If I had paid for that bs, I would have been pissed. I was at the Atlanta United game on Saturday and saw Kanye was there, wearing the exact same outfit. I don’t think too many people cared. It was all about the team and hoping for a victory. He looked ridiculous and it was obvious he was trying to stand out. It was 95 outside. Most of us were sweaty and trying to get ice cream or booze. Oh…and he’s staying at the stadium to finish Donda. Rented it out. Set up a studio and everything. Has a private chef to cook for him. Completely ridiculous.

    • Merricat says:

There isn’t enough attention in the world to fill the hollowness inside him.

    • Anna says:

People who support and attend this deserve what they get. They have to know what they’re getting into with this individual and have no recourse to complain.

    • ME says:

On TMZ they were saying he hasn’t changed his clothes since the listening party and won’t leave the stadium until his album is complete. Does anyone not see something wrong with this? This is not normal behavior. Does this dude not have one person in his life that truly cares for him?

  19. Leah says:

Another billionaires folly, that’s all this is. But what’s amazing is the crowd and media attention he gets.
