Tom Holland & Doctor Strange enter the multiverse in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

Actor Tom Holland wearing an Ermenegildo Zegna XXX suit arrives at the Los Angeles Premiere Of Sony Pictures' 'Spider-Man Far From Home' held at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on June 26, 2019 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, United States.

Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out in December, and it will likely be one of the big mega-hits of the Christmas season. This isn’t a run-of-the-mill Spider-Man movie either – this one also features Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, because Strange lives in New York? And Peter Parker can just stop by his house and request that Strange cast a spell? And that’s what happened. Basically, Strange and Spidey f–ked up the universe and end up entering the Multiverse. Imagine being a moody teen and accidentally creating this giant Multiverse mess.

While I like Benedict in this role, I will forever say that they just should have let him use his British accent. Hearing him try to maintain the American accent… well, bless his heart. Anyway, I hope it’s not just computer graphics and trains multiplying and Peter fighting bad guys. I hope Zendaya has a big role to play and that Doctor Strange is really the second lead. Shake it up, have fun. It’s not my jam, but I imagine the youths are excited.

I, not a youth, am very excited about this film. 🙂

  2. Sofia says:

Excited for all the Marvel films coming out this year. This is going to be a pretty big film. Don’t want to say anymore because spoilers but it’s Sony’s equivalent of Endgame in terms of ambition and cast in my opinion.

  3. Case says:

As someone who loved the Raimi Spider-Man movies when I was younger, I am just ecstatic for this. This looks FUN.

  4. Lila says:

So excited!! Loki got me in the mood for whatever multiversal goodness they want to throw my way.

  5. North of Boston says:

This looks kind of chaotic and fun!
    I’m in!

  6. Sof says:

All that speculation about Tobey making an appearance made me want to watch it. It probably won’t happen, but they did the same change of time-space in X-men to justify everyone being in the same movie.
I had completely forgotten Zendaya is the new Mary Jane! That shows my age, I always associated that character with Kirsten Dunst.

  7. Bean says:

Lived more than half a century and I’m full on geeking out!!!

  8. Feeshalori says:

Alfred Molina is back as Dr. Octopus!

  9. The Recluse says:

More fun at the movies. I’m in!

I was excited for this new phase, but after being let down by Wandavision and Loki, I think I entered superhero fatigue.

However, I’m making plans to watch Eternals and Shang-Chi. Don’t know if I’ll watch No Way Home, though. Not a big fan of MCU Spider-Man.
