Pres. Biden ordered Kellyanne Conway & others to resign from military boards

President Biden Delivers Remarks on the Build Back Better Agenda

I never knew this was a thing, but apparently presidents get to appoint political hacks to military “policy boards.” While he was in office, Donald Trump ended up tossing a bunch of qualified people and he replaced them with political hacks like Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway. Trump was truly on a tear in his last months, packing the military advisory boards with MAGA jackasses. It was so bad that the Pentagon actually shut down their advisory boards temporarily, then restarted them under the Biden administration. Still, the dumbasses were still technically board members and they were sitting there like a ticking time bomb. So now President Biden has told all the MAGAts to GTFO or he’ll personally fire them.

The Biden administration has told 11 officials appointed to military service academy advisory boards by former President Donald Trump to resign or be dismissed, a source familiar with the situation tells CNN’s KFile. The officials asked to resign include prominent former Trump officials like former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, former senior counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway and former national security adviser H.R. McMaster. They were appointed to the advisory boards of the Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and West Point respectively.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday afternoon confirmed the request had been made: “The President’s objective is what any president’s objective is — to ensure you have nominees and people serving on these boards who are qualified to serve on them and who are aligned with your values. And so yes, that was an ask that was made…. I will let others evaluate whether they think Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer and others were qualified, or not political, to serve on these boards, but the President’s qualification requirements are not your party registration, they are whether you’re qualified to serve and whether you’re aligned with the values of this administration.”

Other more prominent names include Heidi Stirrup, the former White House liaison to the Justice Department who was banned from entering the building after she attempted to access sensitive information about possible election fraud in December 2020, and retired Col. Douglas Macgregor, a former ambassador pick and Pentagon official with a history of controversial comments. The duo were appointed to the boards of the Air Force Academy and West Point.

[From CNN]

Board members typically serve three-year terms, which is what many of these a–holes are clinging to, the idea that they have to serve out their three-year term. Some of them are saying that they refuse to resign… which just means that Biden will fire them. I think he gave them to 6 pm yesterday, so they’re already technically fired. LOLZ.

Kellyanne Conway posted her refusal to resign on Twitter and everyone pointed out that she violated the Hatch Act and that she’s just generally a lying scumbag. Imagine calling President Biden “petty” after your former employer sent armed insurrectionists to murder the Vice President, the Speaker of the House and members of Congress.

I don’t usually make fun of people’s appearances but my god, Kellyanne’s evil soul is spilling out onto her face…I can’t believe she is only 54.

    • Izzy says:

I started calling her The Cryptkeeper for a reason. Google it. The resemblance is astonishing.

      • OriginalLala says:

        hahaha thats uncanny!

      • BothSidesNow says:

@ Izzy, that’s actually more fitting than what I was calling her last night as I saw the CNN round table video chat last night.

Now I will refer to her as the Cryptkeeper as well!! More fitting than the other various adjectives I was using last night!!

    • wow says:

i just hope her daughter is ok

      • girl_ninja says:

Her daughter is probably fine. That family was running a con and got her onto American Idol with that awful mother of hers cheering her on.

      • pottymouth pup says:

@girl_ninja while I agree that it’s likely Claudia is in on the grift and a lot of the shitposting she did about her parents may have been an attempt to help gin up support for her “career” in advance of the American Idol contest (that had already filmed but weren’t mentioned in all the hoopla), I still don’t understand why Kellyanne didn’t face any repercussions for taking her own pic of the topless pic of Claudia and retaining it on her phone. If she really was hacked as the family now claims, shouldn’t they have pulled out all the stops to find out who hacked her & posted a topless pic of her underage daughter – this is a family of great means and powerful connections that would have been able to find the culprit. Also, the fact that KAC still kept the pic on her phone/in her cloud even after the alleged hacking & posting of it is still highly suspect. But, of course, if you’re white, rich & republican you’ll probably never be held accountable – not even for what would normally result in at least a threat of a child porn charge

    • Betsy says:

She is truly one of the ugliest women I have ever seen, mostly because her hideous visage stems almost entirely from, as you say OriginialLala, her evil soul. The politics of being a White right wing woman do this to people.

    • DiegoInSF says:

2 years older than JLo but she looks 200 years older, omg!

    • teehee says:

Why is she protesting firing people, the very ting that Trump is praised for doing?
I thought she LIKED people getting fired and found it fully JUSTIFIED that it can happen at the drop of a hat?
Wasn’t it funny when it happened then? Why isn’t it funny now?

Edit- “honorable Kelleyanne”??? What is her title???
Shoot I should start naming myself that too. Nigerian princess, she is.

      • BothSidesNow says:

It’s truly sickening as to her responses that she has posted in the last 16 hours. She is clearly deluded into thinking that as any position within the government as a MAGAT, she should not be imposed to have any form of qualifications OR to be aligned into the same ideology as the current administration. The actions of this woman from the moment she walked onto the White grounds to the moment that she leaked her daughters topless, decrying that she was hacked, is utterly defenseless.

BTW, Honorable my ass!! There is nothing honorable about her!

    • Chicago says:

“Her evil soul spilling out onto her face” – that’s literature right there! Honestly, sometimes I come here to read the comments because some of you really have a way with words.

  2. Merricat says:

She’s a raging idiot and long-term hypocrite. I hope a tornado drops a house on her.

  3. Tom says:

    Take out the trash, Joe.

  4. WingKingdom says:

Oh, so she’s shocked at a break with presidential norms??? That’s rich

    • Larisa says:

RIght? That was the thing that flabbergasted me the most. Nobody associated with Trump, ESPECIALLY her, gets to utter those words and expect to be taken seriously. These people have no shame.

  5. Maria says:

LMAO The tweet responses are killing me! “Honey, he doesn’t check Twitter like ya boy did. Best of luck in your future endeavors”

  6. Maria says:

Also, remember when you said the President can fire at will Kellyanne? Thanks, bye.

    • Ponchorella says:

Right. Wasn’t she always talking about serving “at the pleasure” (which always made me feel ill picturing Kellyanne blowing TFG) of the president?

  7. Willow says:

Trump’s power grab is never ending.

  8. mellie says:

A Twitter page that I follow regularly posted something like this “First they came for Kellyanne Conway and I couldn’t catch my breath because I was laughing so g-d hard…”
    hahahah….

  9. Coco says:

A few weeks ago I saw the headline for a story about demographics of vaccinations/masking, and the accompanying photo included a skinny bleached blonde woman in a mask. For a second I thought, “Is that Kellyanne Conway?” Then I realized it was the first time in months that I’d remembered Kellyanne’s existence. It was a beautiful feeling.

    • HoofRat says:

Looking at that photo, my jaw just re-clenched. Every member of that “administration” should be declared a public health hazard and given the full Typhoid Mary treatment, in perpetuity.

    • Coco says:

@Bothsidesnow, the photo I saw wasn’t actually her, sorry. I meant that a photo of a similar looking woman reminded me both that Kellyanne exists but also how totally irrelevant her existence has been since Trump is out of office.

  10. Jessica says:

Not having to see Kellyanne’s face all the time had definitely been a big plus over the last 9 months.

  11. Mireille says:

How did Spicer and Conway think they would be qualify to serve on these boards anyway? They’re both PR mouth pieces. The U.S. military has a tough time as it is right now — they don’t need a former Dancing with the Stars contestant and a women whose family hates her inflicted on them.

  12. notasugarhere says:

And yet hasn’t Biden kept deJoy at the post office, the guy who dismantled and scraped sorting machines and tried to single-handedly destroy mail in voting in the US? He’ll passively get rid of the Trumpers on these boards, but not address issues that matter like voting rights, the Post Office, abortion rights, etc. How many terms can Kamala Harris serve if Biden dies now? That might the only hope for the US.

    • Coco says:

I remember reading that the removal of the Postmaster General is much more complicated than most of, perhaps all of, the other department heads.

    • Dee says:

But the postmaster general cannot be removed by a president. That power lies with the Postal Service’s governing board — whose six sitting members were all appointed by President Trump as a result of a Republican-controlled Senate blocking a slate of President Barack Obama’s nominees.

    • notasugarhere says:

Question remains. Why hasn’t Biden removed the Trumper members of the governing board and solved this problem?

  13. lolalola3 says:

How is it Kellyanne is Honorable?? That word should leap off the page and burst into flame.
    KellyAhole, You’re FIRED!

  14. Giddy says:

Kelly Anne is a poisonous soul, a harpy. Hers a description of a harpy from the web. A harpy is a foul malign creature in Greek mythology that is part woman and part bird: a predatory person, a leech, a shrewish woman.

  15. French Hen says:

She’s scary ala Cruella Deville. Plus, her personality is, well, where is it? Bye, Magat.

  16. Olliesmom says:

Where is the rock located that she slithered back under?

  17. jferber says:

She wouldn’t recognize a presidential norm if it bit her in the ass. Unqualified, toxic biatch only ever saw (un)presidential (ab)norms. And why hasn’t anything happened to the former guy yet? Cuomo was out in what feels like a nano-second compared to all the long-term investigations of Gaetz, rump, the JimBob son for child pornography, etc. Why are only Dems punished and Rethug investigations get to ride into the sunset with no consequences? This isn’t “what aboutism,” but general fairness and equality in meting out justice. Partisan justice is no justice at all.

  18. jferber says:

Oh, yes, fire her ASAP, President Biden. I love you (with a fan girl blush).

  19. vegasschmegas says:

Were these paid positions (because the Trump administration is all about the grift). Also, Kellyanne got the face she deserves….

  20. Leah says:

The Cryptkeeper tweeted in response that Biden should resign and Sean Spicer tweeted that he was going to sue Biden. I laughed my socks off. I am going to google to see if federal jobs have a job termination “at will” rule so I can laugh some more.

Google is my friend: omg they are “at will”. Laugh track on loop! Actually their former boss signed a an order last year that made it easier to fire federal employees. Amazing how things return to bite you in the tush.

She isn’t military so what is she doing on a military board besides the obvious grift? She should be forced to return her paychecks.

  21. nina says:

When the crap you spew comes back to bite you in the ass.

  22. why? says:

I knew that Biden and Harris had people in their administration from Trump’s administration(which explains many of the horrible decisions that have been coming from the DOJ, FBI, CDC, postal service, inspector general, and oversight institutions in charge of investigating Matt G and the insurrection ), but I didn’t know about this military advisory board. Biden and Harris are too worried about offending the republicans, press, Manchin, and Sinema. They need to take charge of their administration before it’s too late. The voting rights, anti-abortion bills, anti-mask mandates, anti-protesting bills, expiration of eviction moratorium should have never been allowed to get this far.

It’s crazy how republicans are whining about how people are still on unemployment when many states cut unemployment assistance months ago.

  23. Valerie says:

And they think the liberals are centuries-old blood drinkers. Yeesh.

  24. French Hen says:

I wonder if she realizes that that open mouth pose is very equine and makes me think she needs a carrot or an apple.

  25. Miatagal says:

    Yard Sale Barbie.

  26. Daisy Williamson says:

Did she forget her previous lunatic former Boss fired over 500 people ? James Comey and the others who are qualified to be in their position have the right to sued Donald Trump ,but they did not do it ,because they knew a new President have the right to appoint new people and have the right to fired them if they refused to step down. That is the power of the President they hold until today .
