Last night during EW and People Magazine’s live red carpet stream the presenters kept asking people for their favorite shows. The White Lotus was mentioned several times, and of course Jennifer Coolidge was the standout on that show. Coolidge presented Best Actor in a Comedy last night and everyone cheered so much that she acted like she was the winner, it was hilarious! Fast forward to 2:11 in the video to see Tracee Ellis Ross look absolutely thrilled to see her. Jennifer was in an elegant Christian Siriano gown with draped shoulders and an open back. She’s a comedy legend and she looked regal.
Nominee Nicole Byer was in a purple off the shoulder Siriano gown with tiers of ruffles along the hem and bodice. This reminds me of something Rihanna would wear and I love it. It’s so dramatic. Nicole was super gracious when she lost Outstanding Competition Program for Nailed it. She just kind of shrugged and it was cute.
Wow, Nicole Byer looks amazing.
She has grown on me so much over the years, I went from finding her incredibly annoying to terminally delightful.

She does look amazing, and so many other pics from the Emmys make is SO OBVIOUS that women with REAL bodies look so much more amazing and beautiful than stick figures in bizarre, barely-there “fashion.”

She has an awesome wardrobe on Nailed It! I wish she’d won, I adore her. And I know she loves purple, so she must have been thrilled with her look.
Jennifer’s is very elegant. Siriano makes nice gowns.
I think if the cape part of the dress was longer, I’d like it better. To me, with that length, it looks like she just threw a cardigan over her shoulders.
Still, a great color on her, and she looked lovely.

Peignoir, this is it! I’m not a fan of magenta, but imagining a more jewel tone instead? Like amethyst or aubergine? Gorgeous.
I think it’s more of an older lady arm coverage thing… I wouldn’t go sleeveless at my age but I would definitely wear that!
I’d love to see Jennifer Coolidge get recognition from the Emmys for her performance in White Lotus. I’m just worried that by the time the next nomination season rolls around she’ll be forgotten.

Both women look great. Christian Siriano is wonderful.
I feel like Siriano’s collections get flak a lot from fashion analysts for being too boring (and deservedly so too, sometimes), but he truly is one of the few who design robes for women over 45 or over a size 8 that still fit them and make them look elegant af.
She is one of those people who already make me laugh before they start talking.
And Nicole’s dress looks great, it’s one of those dresses everyone wants to wear at least once.
Jennifer is age appropriate, sexy, cool. Everything.
