Ana de Armas in Louis Vuitton at the ‘No Time to Die’ premiere: lovely or meh?

James Bond's 'No Time To Die' World Film Premiere Held at the Royal Albert Hall

Here are some of the celebrity photos from last night’s No Time to Die premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It was a royal premiere and royals did come out, but a lot of Bond-franchise people came out as well, which was nice to see. Ana de Armas reportedly has kind of a throw-away role as a Bond Girl, so she came out to the premiere too. She wore a custom Louis Vuitton which… it’s pretty. It’s not groundbreaking or anything, but it’s a nice dress. I cannot believe how different she looks with those bangs though. Of course she’s still lovely, but she went from “bombshell” to “pretty girl-next-door.” I hope she grows them out!

Here’s Double-Oh-My-God Daniel Craig looks orange!! He put on some makeup for the premiere and they didn’t match his skin tone. He wore Tom Ford. Rachel Weisz wasn’t with him? No red carpet photos and she wasn’t with him for the royal reception line either.

Lashana Lynch wore a custom Vivienne Westwood gown. I mean, typical Westwood, the design, the energy. But I dislike the yellow and everything about the bust of the dress.

I think Lea Seydoux is beautiful and talented but she’s absolutely horrendous in the Bond franchise. So… yeah, I don’t think this Louis Vuitton is flattering? The silver belt is cinched too tight and they made a slim, elegant woman look like she’s sucking in a beer gut.

Naomie Harris in custom Michael Kors – she’s part of some little side deal with Kors, they made an “inspired by Bond” handbag line. So she had to wear Kors and they did her dirty. This is such a boring nothingburger dress.

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas in Gucci. Billie sings the title song and God knows, she’ll probably get an Oscar nomination for whisper-singing.

No joke, Phoebe Waller-Bridge was my pick for best-dressed. She’s not even in the movie, she was just hired to punch up the script and make it sharper, funnier and less sexist. She wore this Azzaro Haute Couture jumpsuit and it was wonderful.

Emma Raducanu is still living that princess life, and she wore Dior to the premiere. Cute.

Aww I loved Daniel’s jacket! Great colour.

Cannot believe how unflattering that dress is on such a beauty like ana de armas, is it squishing her breasts and making her look odd or something?!

Agree that phoebe looks unreal and I’ve got such a crush on Naomie Harris so I always love her looks lol

    • MF1 says:

Me too — I’m obsessed with Daniel’s jacket. Actually the whole look is great, with the trim black pants that are perfectly tailored.

    • Dutch says:

For what it’s worth, the dress De Armas is wearing on the red carpet is very similar to the dress she wears in the movie. An unusual move, but perhaps the reasoning why she went that direction.

    • Case says:

These dresses seem to be the trend right now — they simultaneously pull your boobs apart and squish them down. I keep seeing them on red carpets and I don’t understand. Not flattering on anyone.

  2. Merricat says:

Agreed, Phoebe wins the fashion portion of the evening.

  3. D says:

Phoebe for the win but Naomi Harris looks gorgeous even if the dress isn’t a wow. The make-up fail on Daniel Craig is soooo bad.

  4. Amy Bee says:

I agree Phoebe looked the best.

  5. B says:

PWB, Ana and Emma all look great. Love the pink tux on Daniel Craig.

Critics are saying Ana is the MVP, and she’s only in one scene. Impressive.

  6. MsIam says:

I liked Emma’s dress the best. Lashana Lynch’s dress was awful but I actually liked the color on her. And Billie said she got backlash from her “fans” for wearing that low cut gown at the Met Gala so I guess she decided to wear a sparkly Snuggy this time around. Phoebe looked very James Bond themed. The others just looked meh, not bad or anything but not wow either.

  7. LightPurple says:

    Phoebe wins!
    Naomi takes the silver.

  8. Sofia says:

I honestly like everyone’s. I see what Lea was going for and if the fit was better, i would totally love it too.

  9. Dilara says:

Emma is already a red carpet natural and I don’t have a problem with Lea’s dress, but Phoebe is hands down the best fit from this 007 bunch.

  10. Valentina says:

Not to nitpick, but Waller-Bridge is credited as one of the writers of No Times to Die.

  11. tempest prognosticator says:

Phoebe! Absolutely gorgeous. Daniel’s orange face clashes with his lovely jacket. The others’ looks are unremarkable.

  12. Coco says:

I remember reading Craig explain that he didn’t show up to certain of Weisz’s movie events, such as ‘The Favourite,’ because he didn’t want constant questions about James Bond to detract from ‘her night.’ So maybe it’s reciprocal and she’s letting him take the whole spotlight. I can also imagine that both she and Craig are sick of Bond, particularly the endless press for this film, and even Craig wouldn’t go if it wasn’t contractually obligated.

    • Fortuona says:

Yes he was not involved during the Black Widow ‘premiere’ either

    • josephine says:

Was still hoping to see Rachel Weisz – I always find her interesting. But I think the explanation is right — neither seem to have much by way of tolerance for the red carpet anyway.

  13. Sarah says:

Phoebe looks fantastic and I don’t mind Ana’s dress it’s the hair that I’m not digging. I like Naomie’s dress but I’m not digging the upper portion and the cut out but the fabric and the way it hangs and shimmers (it’s beautiful).

  14. Twin falls says:

Phoebe looks awesome. I can’t unsee Ana as Dora the Explorer with this haircut.

  15. tamsin says:

Emma is a stunning young woman and I don’t think that Dior gown does a thing for her, and she doesn’t do anything for the gown. I think it’s a very pedestrian design. Lea’s dress is really unflattering by making her look like she has love handles under her boobs. I also think Phoebe looks fabulous. I didn’t think there was much to ooh and ahh over in terms of fashion at the premiere. I thought Kate and Camilla looked better than most.

  16. LillyfromLillooet says:

I think the quieter dresses were lovely and a welcome return to those days of yore before dressing for the red carpet and “who” are you wearing became the main event. If de Armas had a minor role, this is a great and smart dress. I love that Ben is gone (privately I feel the most winning thing about her look). I think that for a major post-Ben appearance, girl next door is a very good look and is a differentiator. She’s a working actress looking for more work, not trying to be the sexiest and set thirst traps.

Naomie’s dress fit her beautifully and she looked so poised.

Weisz and Craig have been together for a very long time, they are seasoned red carpet pros and I think if they wanted to they could show up at each other’s events and say “I’m just here to support my spouse.” As much fun as red carpets are for us civilians, for the entertainment pros they are business and a pain in the neck to plan, and at their stage are likely a must skip unless absolutely necessary. This ain’t date night.

  17. Meh says:

Ana looks like she’s *trying* to give glamooouur from the clavicle down and giving coquettish tomboy on the hands and from the neck up. Very incongruous.

  18. Linny says:

Funny how she is so less interesting without Ben

  19. Lucy2 says:

I like Phoebe and Emma’s looks. Naomie’s Isn’t terribly exciting but it looks nice. The others, not so much.

  20. Case says:

Phoebe looks great, and I like Daniel Craig’s pink jacket. Naomie’s is a simple dress, but it looks very pretty on her.

Ana is GORGEOUS but I agree, those bangs do something really weird to her whole look. The wide v-cut in her dress looks kinda odd to me.

I kinda thought when Billie Eilish made her debut in sexier, more form-fitting outfits that would be her new look for the era of her music that she’s in. I’m confused that she keeps going back and forth. Most pop stars kinda stick to one “aesthetic” per album cycle.

    • Ang says:

You are confused about someone wearing a different look at different times?

      • Case says:

I simply expected Billie to maybe go in a different direction with her style once she introduced that more grown-up outfits into her wardrobe/as a way she enjoyed dressing, but she has still worn the oversized looks to many formal events. That’s all. Madonna, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, etc. tend to have “style eras” with new music and stay within that style until their next promo tour.

  21. MF1 says:

Phoebe looks A++ incredible. Surprised that we don’t more top tier designers clamoring to dress her. Obviously that needs to change.

  22. Bettyrose says:

Daniel and Phoebe are the best dressed. And I love that a man gets to have that title for breaking out of the tux mold. Ana … just … could it be any more basic? Trying to cosplay Angelina Jolie and failing miserably.

    • L4Frimaire says:

Love Phoebe’s outfit and she’s incredibly talented so stan forever. I’m not into Craig’s look but apparently old Piss Morgan was attacking him on Twitter because I guess the pink jacket wasn’t manly and misogynistic enough for Bond. Guess he’s crawled out of his hole for that swipe.

  23. February-Pisces says:

I absolutely love ana’s look and her hair looks so chic and sexy, I literally want mine like that. I think all the women here absolutely nailed their looks, I love every outfit.

  24. L4frimaire says:

I like Anna’s low key look. She’s so pretty she looks good in anything. I’m not into any of these gowns. Billie Eilish and Phoebe Waller-Bridges had the best looks and looked sleek and modern. I’m not even a Billie Eilish fan but she looks good, love the shoes. Daniel Craig looks ridiculous. I’ve never liked him as Bond, can’t wait til there’s a new Bond.

  25. Lizzie says:

Ana needs to stop messing with her face. She’s creeping towards over filling it. I know bangs can change a person’s look but that’s not what’s going on here.

  26. Joey says:

Ana de Armas is so gorgeous but I don’t think those bangs are flattering at all. Phoebe looked amazing as did the rest of the cast.

  27. Pocket Litter says:

In other photos, Ana de Armas has TOB in a grasping clutch. He leaned into it. Didn’t seem like he minded. Think I saw the set on HuffPo.

  28. Yati says:

ADA is very underwhelming on the red carpet. The lady has access to designers now to kill it on these events. She needs a new stylist IMO.

  29. Sof says:

“she’ll probably get an Oscar nomination for whisper-singing” Omg, I’ll be so pissed. Nothing against her, but if Young and Beautiful didn’t make it…

  30. K says:

That black dress style always looks good. It’s a classic for a reason. Her face looks filled. Unless it’s the bangs?

  31. The Voice says:

Phoebe Waller-Bridge looks amazing! I like Daniel’s jacket – great color and it’s nice to see men taking more fashion chances. It looks a little too snug and the sleeves are too short. Anyone else? He’s super ugly sexy to me. Ana is usually so beautiful but the dress looks too big for her. The neckline isn’t proportional for her petite frame. The rest of the dress swallows her up.

  32. Athena says:

Based on the picture of the hand holding on the part of William I would say he loved it.

  33. Lila says:

Maybe because I’ve never seen her in a movie, but I have a very hard time ‘encoding’ what Ana looks like. She’s pretty, but it doesn’t stick memorably in my head. I used to have the same problem with Amber Heard.

  34. Songs (Or it didnt happen) says:

Finneas is looking good. Why am I the first one to say so?

  35. Jaded says:

Ana had a major boob spill getting out of the limo, her dress literally fell of her shoulder and woops, wardrobe malfunction.

  36. Eulalia says:

I agree about Ana’s bangs. She’s a gorgeous woman but quite baby-faced and the bangs really highlight that. She looks fantastic though, I think the dress is very Bond girl and she looks appropriate.

That colour is amazing on Lashana Lynch but would have loved to see a more sleeker silhouette on her. Naomie Harris and Pheobe W-B look stunning and event-appropriate. But sheesh….Lea Seydoux’s dress is….yikes. It is not flattering on her at all.

  37. Bread and Circuses says:

Ana de Armas looks great, so does Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Everyone else, including Daniel Craig, had outfits of various shades of not-great, with Emma Raducanu rising above the pack to actually-nice.

Thankfully, they’re all spectacularly beautiful humans, so we had lots of pretty to enjoy anyway. 😀
