Over the years, I do think that I’ve developed a better “eye” for wigs and hair pieces on celebrity women and royal women. But my Achilles heel is that I can rarely tell when celebrities are utilizing those clip-in bangs or whether they’ve really gotten a new bangsy haircut. So it is with Emily Ratajkowski. Emily mixes up her hair every so often, sometimes going blonde, sometimes wearing extensions, and in 2017, she experimented with bangs. I still don’t know if those were clip-in bangs, but I suspect they were. In 2017, they didn’t look bad at all. Her bangs were a good length and they avoided the bulkiness and thickness which (I believe) is the kiss of death for most fringes. They gave Emily an Audrey Hepburn kind of look.
Well, the bangs are back. Once again, are these clip-ins? The photos in this post are from Emily’s Instagram, and if you look at the other photos, she didn’t have bangs a few weeks ago. So she either got a fresh haircut or she found her old clip-in fringe. I kind of wonder… if this is real? I think she actually got bangs.
Once again, Emily kind of pulls them off. They soften her face a bit and make her look less surgically enhanced. I still think she looks better without bangs though, but that’s probably my fringe intolerance speaking.

She looks pretty either way
Clip in bangs seem the way to go. Can have fun with them and don’t have any of growing out agita. I’m almost tempted to get some.

Can I ask what it is that Emily does these days? I know she got married and became a mom and she wrote a book about herself and (sigh) her body but does she act or do anything that may require talent these days or is she still hanging onto what could have been?

Appearance wise, I could never figure out if she was pretty or not. Some people I really can’t tell. When I first saw her in a movie I thought to myself that she wasn’t attractive at all and was surprised she got cast in a “hot” role. Then I started to notice she was attractive and canceled my initial opinion. But everytime I first see her I find her unattractive at first.
Looks are subjective so my opinion is just my own and we all have different preferences. I just find it weird that I can’t put my finger on what she looks like. Scarlett Johanson is another one. I realize many other people consider her very attractive and I literally can’t see it
