Before Pete Davidson punched above his weight romantically, there was Justin Long. I’m not saying that as a diss to Justin at all! He seems like a nice guy and all of his exes love him. That’s actually what I mean – Justin is a normal guy with a somewhat dorky/unremarkable/sweet persona, and yet he’s got a list of remarkable exes. Currently, Justin is dating Kate Bosworth. They worked together last year, and soon after they worked together, her marriage was over. Yep. Now Justin is letting us know that he’s all-in.
Justin Long seems to have found true love. The actor and Life is Short with Justin Long podcast host, 43, chatted with Nick Viall for the latter’s show The Viall Files recently and expressed his happiness over finding “the one.”
“I had gotten to a place where I was comfortable with myself. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was ready for the one,” Long said during the interview, which aired Monday. “And the one, I met. I found.”
Long added of his relationship, “I want to [talk about it], but I also want to be protective. I want to scream it from the rooftops, but I also want to be protective. It’s sacred.”
While Long did not name his partner in the interview, he and Kate Bosworth were seen riding in a car together in Los Angeles last week, and they’ve since been pictured holding hands.
Well, they went from “casually having an affair” to “soulmates” over the course of a year? Less than that. And they’re so lowkey about it too, they haven’t gotten any gossip about how they (probably) started when she was married to Michael Polish. I mean, I think Kate is still figuring sh-t out post-divorce, but who knows, maybe she’s all-in with Justin. It’s not like they’re dumb kids – he’s 43, she’s 39. Maybe they know exactly what they want now and they want each other.

It’s not like I’m keeping score or anyone knows that I called this, but I called this! When she ended her marriage I knew she and Justin would make their relationship public. I don’t really care. I’m not a fan of either but I don’t dislike them either. Good luck to them.

He, and Pete, just seem like nice, easy going guys. The human equivalent of labrador retrievers – loyal, loving, silly and snuggly. It must be such a relief to women who’ve been on the Hollywood dating scene.
(this isn’t a criticism of either one. I would gladly bring them home to Mum)

Yes he’s known for being super rude and full of himself which is hilarious considering his flop career. My friend was a PA on some indie movie he did in nyc a few years ago and his reputation was garbage. You probably won’t really find much because no one really cares that much about him.
Ha, fair enough. I live in NYC, so I do hear an awful lot of dish about plenty of people, so I was surprised I hadn’t heard about this. Thanks for the reply.

This is new for them and they don’t know where it’s headed. Though I do side eye a relationship born out of infidelity, it always causes me to question.
My BF filed for divorce on October 22nd after years of being separated.

Awwww…LaaLaa what a great story, I’m so happy for you. It’s true “when you know you know”. I stepped back into a relationship that started in 1977 and ended in 1979. My heart got broken, he dumped me for another woman and got married within 5 months. Long story short, the marriage was long for the sake of their kids, but she turned out to be a hot mess and for the most part the relationship was very stressful. They got divorced in 2014, he looked me up in 2015, I forgave after he apologized profusely and willingly admitted how badly he f*cked up, and 7 years later here we are loved up in 2022. He was the one. Glad you found your “one”.
Honestly, I find him really attractive. He would be just my type if I was 20 years younger! Pete is adorable too.
Kate’s marriage to Polish seemed kind of obsessive and unhealthy on the outside, so it’s nice if she’s found someone she’s really happy with.
I will forever remember him as the guy who felt he needed to repeatedly state how much he enjoys going down on his partners.
