A few days ago, TMZ reported that Kim Kardashian had taken the time to meet Pete Davidson’s grandparents. Kim was in New York with Pete, where he’s been working on a movie, and the location shoot was close to his grandparents’ house. So Pete took Kim to see his grandparents. TMZ also says that Pete has been “openly accepted” by Kim’s closest friends and that her family really likes him. Pete still hasn’t met Kim’s kids, and I’ve heard that Pete just stays at a hotel whenever he’s in LA. Meaning, they’re not doing sleepovers at her home, although I do think he’s been to her home. It also seems like Pete is featured (in some way) in the family’s new Hulu series, The Kardashians. Kim and the fam sat down with Robin Roberts to promote the show, and of course they got some questions about Pete.
Kim Kardashian can’t help but smile when talking about her boyfriend Pete Davidson. The Kardashians star was asked about the Saturday Night Live comedian during her sit-down interview with Robin Roberts, which airs on Wednesday night. In a preview of the interview, which was released on Tuesday, the mother of four says she feels “at peace” amid her romance.
“How serious is it?” Roberts asks.
“I am a relationship kind of girl, for sure, and I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them,” Kardashian tells Roberts. “Obviously, I want to take my time, but I’m very happy and very content. And, it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace.”
Also during the interview, Roberts asked momager Kris Jenner about her thoughts on Davidson dating her daughter. “Pete’s great, Pete’s great,” Jenner says. “He’s a really nice guy.”
Khloé Kardashian adds, “He just makes her laugh and she laughs all the time.”
Again, I’m struck by how weirdly normal this must feel for Kim. She was with Kanye for the better part of a decade and we know that Kanye’s world is a bonkers way to live. Now that she’s with Pete, they just… go to movies and go out to eat. She goes and spends time with his family. They do “normal couple” stuff. It must be like a vacation for her.

Update as of today – it appears he has met her kids. He was photographed with North while he was driving Kim’s golf cart.
And she was sitting on his lap, they are really trying to trigger Kanye i see.

I don’t really get why people are still saying it’s a publicity stunt at this point. I’m not saying they’re going to be together forever, but it’s definitely a real relationship IMO.
I mean…I get *why* people think something to do with the K’s is fake. I just disagree in this case.
And actually, now that I think about it, have any of their relationships been stunts in the past? Honestly asking. Chris Humphries maybe? But that seemed to me a desperation to be married on her end, and feeling like she couldn’t pull the plug once it was in motion, more than a publicity stunt.
She didn’t marry Kris H for the publicity bc no one knew him. She’s said before she just felt trapped in the engagement and the circus and shouldn’t have done it.
I think it’s obviously real. I think she found out post-Kanye that she didn’t have as many options as she expected. Being a billionaire now isn’t enough for serious men to want to be involved in that family or reality show. Throw in a little jealousy and rivalry with Kourtney and we have Pete. Plus she loves to be love bombed and Pete almost certainly gave her that at the beginning.
Thank you for mentioning love bombing, which Pete seems to have a history with. Am I the only one who thinks it’s telling that her first real relationship post Kanye is also with a man with known mental health issues?? It’s mind blowing to me that a woman as independent as Kim is drawn so rapidly toward codependent men. Khloe has a similar pattern

This is the disconnect I struggle with about her. The vast majority of the pics that we get to see are like someone on the set of a movie, clothes as costumes, hair and makeup done, etc. etc. I can’t comprehend that person meeting a boyfriends grandparents! Then we see her like this and she seems more like an actual human being who might just go to the movies with her boyfriend like regular people.
Yup. Big coat and vans are my uniform and my daughter is all about the baggy sweats. I’m sure the jacket is designer and costs a bizillion dollars but this look is super relatable nonetheless.
Not a stunt, imo. Met the right person at an inconvenient time. If he brings her peace and happiness, why not. She needs to be able to live and breathe without wondering who she’s pissing off.
I think she saw the attention Kourtney and Travis were getting and REALLY wanted to pull focus/get some of that for herself. That is my *cynical* impression of Kim.
Looking at her pulled smoothed out face makes me so uncomfortable and kind of grosses me out.
