Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding will happen this Saturday. I’m actually looking forward to hearing about it and hopefully seeing some photos? It’s been a minute since we’ve had a big celebrity/society wedding, and Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding is a combination of celebrity-wedding, nepotism-wedding and the merging of two “important families.” Nicola’s dad is billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, and Brooklyn’s parents are Posh & Becks, obvs. We know that this wedding is taking place in Palm Beach, Florida, but until now, I didn’t know anything else. Thankfully, Pop Sugar has some tea:
Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham are set to be married on Saturday, April 9. According to many reports, the wedding will take place at Peltz’s family mansion in Palm Beach, FL. Peltz and Beckham have been open about their wedding planning ever since getting engaged in July 2020, when he proposed with a five-carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring. Now, more details are coming in surrounding the Beckham wedding wardrobe.
Peltz confirmed that she worked with Valentino on her custom wedding dresses. “We’ve been to Rome twice, watching everyone in the atelier, they’re just so talented. The first time I went to Rome, I brought my mom and my brother Brad, who’s actually my man of honor, and then Leslie Fremar who’s one of my best friends in the whole world. It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of, and it’s very exciting,” the model teased of the fitting process in a November 2021 interview with CR Fashion Book.
Peltz previously wore a custom Valentino Couture look, crafted by Italian designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, for the 2021 Met Gala. That particular design came in an empire-waist silhouette and featured hot-pink sequins stitched into a camouflage-like pattern down to the floor. She completed the look with baby-pink leather opera gloves, drop chandelier diamond earrings, and a bold cat eye.
Though she’s clearly a fan of the Milan-based fashion house, many wondered if Peltz would end up in a design by future mother-in-law Victoria Beckham on her big day instead. After all, she wore a yellow ruffled midi dress from the brand to celebrate her engagement.
Oh, so the wedding venue is the Peltz family mansion in Palm Beach? Money, money, money. A combination of American old-money and American nouveau-riche, with sprinkles of British celebrities. Now I kind of wonder if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex actually will travel to Florida for the wedding. I know we still have to worry about Covid sh-t, but I do hope we get some good weddings this year, and I hope the Peltz-Beckham is the start of a big celebrity trend.
As for Nicola not wearing one of Victoria’s designs…. LMAO. I mean, I would choose Valentino over Posh’s line too, but it’s just funny. I wonder what Victoria will wear? Probably one of her own sack dresses.

This is a legitimate question for those who more than me: When you have a merger like this, and really don’t have a need to cultivate a skill, what do you actually do? I mean neither one of them have to work ever in their lives. They are young. So besides having babies, what will they/do they do?

They just both want to be famous but neither really want to work nor have any discernable talent.
The Beckham’s are trying to buy Brooklyn a career as a cooking personality but apparently he doesn’t even know basic cooking skills or recipes. Took 62 professionals and $100k for ONE EPISODE. He also had a photography book out.
Nicola has bit parts in whatever acting gigs she can get. She’s also known for terrorizing and possibly assaulting nannies and butler’s.

it’s funny how so many daughters (sons, too, sometimes) of famous/rich parents (ESP those who don’t have the talent that earned the riches that mom/dad have) are described as a “model”. this young lady is pretty, sure, but she’s not model material, IMO.
and in the Met Gala pics, she looks like she’s smelling something bad.
Don’t any of these celebrity parents want more for their children? Most of them come from nothing and had to hustle and work really hard to get to the top of whatever field they are in but they seem content to just raise “influencer” kids or Insta models. Kids who have no talent, drive or education and are happy to coast on their parent’s name and money.
I actually loved the dress Victoria dressed Eva Longoria in for her wedding to her husband Jose.

She is actually a good actress. I loved her in Bates Motel. She was only in a couple of seasons but she was very good.
This isn’t an old money wedding… old money families [generation after generation of wealth] expect their kids to do something.
I know several who are keeping the family land on Martha’s Vineyard but the kids aren’t getting an inheritance other than start up capital for a business. Yes it’s still some cash but peanuts next to all the rest that is donated to charity.
I give it 2 years, she’ll be bored out of her mind with this man child.
