Paige Howard got married in Central Park and it looked magical

I wasn’t going to cover this story, but then I watched the video in the carousel, above, of Ron Howard officiating the wedding and I cried! It’s probably hormonal, but the beautiful photos and touching video that Bryce Dallas Howard shared of her sister Paige, 37, getting married to Tim Abou-Nasr got me. Paige is six years younger than Bryce, she also works as an actress and she has a twin sister, Jocelyn. Ron and his wife of 47 years, Cheryl, also have youngest child Reed, 35, who is a professional golfer. (Thanks to Hollywood Life for all that info!) Anyway I saw this story on People Magazine’s website, which had this nice writeup about it.

Bryce shared a carousel of photos from the special day on her Instagram on Tuesday, with one picture showing her posing alongside her sister in her ethereal blush bridal gown with lace applique.

Bryce meanwhile wore a pale teal bridesmaid dress, along with a floral crown of roses, and their father, 68, looked dapper in a dark grey suit.

“Congratulations to the newlywed couple,” Bryce wrote in the caption, tagging her sister and new brother-in-law. “Although it took a whole pandemic to reach this special moment, I can’t imagine a more perfect day celebrating you two. Tim, I am filled with gratitude and joy to call you my brother!!”

Bryce also celebrated their Happy Days alum dad for being an officiant. “And last but not least, let’s give a round of applause for our incredible officiant @realronhoward 😉.”

Ron also celebrated the day on his Instagram, writing next to a photo of himself officiating in front of Paige and Tim, “Our Paigey looked like the flower goddess she truly is in one of the most beautiful gowns I have ever seen.”

“Groom @timmyabou was looking great as well & it was an unparalleled highlight for me to officiate,” he also wrote.

Watch the video in the Instagram above and see if you don’t get choked up too! I think it was just the palpable joy that everyone showed, the sweet father daughter moment and the obvious love between Paige and Tim. Plus the street noise was a cool touch. I love weddings! Her dress is really gorgeous too, it’s by Hera Couture. I love the v-neck cut, the floral embellishments on the tulle and the blush underlay. The little pop of pastel color is such a lovely subtle touch. You never hear a bad word about Ron Howard and he has such a close knit loving family. Congratulations to Paige and Tim!

Also apologies to Kaiser for covering this wedding story. What kind of cake did they have and what food did they serve at the reception?

Adorable and what I really love is that Ron has been with his wife for so long and this picture wasn’t an old man marrying his 3rd wife! Very beautiful wedding =)

I love Ron Howard and hope we never get reports about his being problematic or an ass. He just seems like a nice guy, having raised nice kids, and making our lives a little better by producing entertaining films.

Ron Howard is really rare among male celebs. Totally wholesome but without being a sanctimonious ass. I’ve never heard one bad story about him. Not even a relatively innocuous story about being impatient with fans. Keanu Reeves is the only other male celeb I can think of with as flawless a record of interacting with the public (Watch. Some horrible scandal will break today lol)

What a beautiful dress! She truly looks like a woodland fairy with her pale skin and red hair. I used to live by Central Park when I lived on the Upper West Side and I would see brides in there all the time taking pictures with their grooms. Occasionally I’d see some weddings happening too but very small intimate ceremonies down by the Lake portion in the Ladies Pavilion. I’m guessing this probably happened at the Boathouse as I think it is the largest venue to have a wedding in. I miss living by the park.

She looks gorgeous! And so very happy.

I know that place! I used to live on 55th between 6th & 7th – that gazebo (I recognize the space) is near the 6th Ave & CPS entrance to the Park. From there, you can have the reception at any of the hotels on Central Park South – it’s about halfway between the Plaza and the Mandarin Oriental. It’s a fabulous place for a small wedding.

Wow, the genes are strong in that family! For a second I thought it was Bryce but she’s gotten an eye lift or something. They look the same but different! Good for her, I hope they’re very happy.
