In July, Hulu dropped the teaser trailer for The Kardashians Season 2. Season 1 was successful for Hulu, and it felt like the show’s buzz and popularity justified Hulu giving the Kardashian clan a HUGE paycheck. The Kardashian-Jenners now have even more control over what goes into their reality show and they’re introducing new storylines and what have you. The thing most people talked about from the teaser was the last clip, where you can see Pete Davidson talking to Khloe, then Kim asks him if he wants to shower with her:

That clip made people believe that Season 2 would feature the love story of Kim Kardashian and Pete, that he would be a somewhat significant part of the show. Well, Pete and Kim broke up about two weeks ago. What will happen to Season 2? Will viewers still get to see Pete? Apparently not.

Don’t be fooled by Hulu’s Season 2 trailer for “The Kardashians.” Pete Davidson may be featured in the teaser, but sources tell Page Six he’s barely in the show.

“He’s in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete,” a source told us.

In the teaser, Kim Kardashian, 41, reflects on how “life is good” as she embarks on her new relationship with Davidson, 28. “I have a new boyfriend, and I am just having a really good time,” she says.

The next clip shows the now ex-couple on the night of the Met Gala as Kardashian gives him a racy invitation right in front of her sister Khloé Kardashian. “Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?,” she asked Davidson. Davidson then rushes behind her as Khloé looks on in shock – but we’re told those glimpses may be all we see of the “Saturday Night Live” alum in the series.

The source described Davidson as “a very private person” and acknowledged that Kardashian “was always super respectful of that.”

“He was not on the first season. I don’t know how they’re doing the second season, but he’s not a part of that world,” they said.

It sounds like Pete was filmed at times for the show but he hopes that the producers will edit some stuff out now that he and Kim are over. Kanye West had a similar energy about appearing on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but at the end of the day, he did appear in some episodes. I wonder if this is a huge ass-ache for producers and editors – will Kim ask to have some Pete stuff taken out? Or will she just shrug it off? In the weeks since the breakup, it absolutely sounds more and more like Pete dumped her.
