Will Sarah Ferguson & Prince Andrew ever get kicked out of Royal Lodge?

Here are some photos of Sarah Ferguson out in London last night at the Andrew Martin Interior Designer of the Year Award. It looks like Fergie was out to support someone specific, probably a friend, so this probably wasn’t a paid appearance. Although who knows? Fergie looks presentable, although the run in her stocking is Peak Fergie. I think it’s interesting that she still gets invited to these kinds of events. Her ex-husband does not.

I actually have to confess something… I was wrong about what King Charles would do to Fergie and Prince Andrew. I thought Charles would throw them out of Royal Lodge right away and exile them somewhere far, far away (like Scotland). So far, he hasn’t. Is Charles biding his time? Will they eventually be asked to leave Royal Lodge? I was thinking about that a few days ago, when Fergie posted photos of herself and QEII’s two dogs. These were Fergie’s birthday portraits (she turned 63) and they were taken on the Royal Windsor Estate, somewhere in the vicinity of Royal Lodge, where she lives rent free with her ex-husband. She and Andrew have made a very big deal about how they inherited QEII’s two dogs, Muick and Sandy and how they’re caring for the dogs in Windsor. It’s almost like Andrew and Fergie are saying to Charles: “You can’t kick us out of Royal Lodge now that we have custody of the Queen’s dogs!” It’s so… grasping.

Are these two back together or not? They live together but are rarely seen together. Is it a romantic relationship or one of convenience? I don’t understand.

    • Lala11_7 says:

@ME…they’re partners in crime/grift…who HAVE ALWAYS been very fond of each other because amoral birds of a feather…besides who ELSE could tolerate them?

    • sparrow says:

I read somewhere, don’t ask it was years ago!, that their failed marriage was seen by him as his greatest regret and Ferguson held onto this emotional fact to wring as much as possible out of their separated relationship. By that I mean the connections, the titles, her daughter’s prospects and titles, and the money. She is meant to be one of the greediest hangers on – hell, they took Epstein’s funds. Beyond that I think their relationship is one of mutual bloody mindedness and protection against the world, particularly in recent years (what have they done wrong, they must ask themselves) and a certain fondness. Plus the connection of children. What is the saying, no one will ever talk to you about your kids as much as your partner, and I imagine that stays true until they’re older?

I am convinced she feels she has a right to royalty and knows how to do it correctly. Wasn’t she the one who taught Meghan to curtsey before meeting the queen? Am I wrong? I stand to be corrected.

I agree with your assessment. Fergie is addicted to being in the royal life, even if it is just on the fringes. I read an article once that said she insisted on being called “ma’am” and “Duchess” and was offended if she wasn’t. She reminds me of a mid-market version of Lady Colin Campbell.

      • ME says:

Thanks for the info everyone. But I’m still confused. Are they dating? Are they back together or just simply living together as “friends”? I heard Fergie was close to the Queen and they would go for walks together.

      • Lizzie Bathory says:

@ME They always gave the impression that even when they were married, they were both free to see whoever they liked. They’ve never been monogamous or “dating” in a traditional sense. It was only when Fergie wasn’t discreet enough that they had to divorce. So I think they’re together just like they always have been, which just isn’t the way other people might view a typical romantic relationship.

    • ME says:

      @ Lizzie Bathory

Oh wow. Thanks for clarification ! Very interesting !

    • Jennifer says:

NO ONE KNOWS. Seriously, NO ONE KNOWS.

I would have been happy for them to get back together except for well, you know, him being a pedophile and all.

  2. Julia K says:

Where is the money coming from? She can’t have her expensive high profile life on an authors paycheck.

  3. Amy Bee says:

They’re never getting kicked out of Royal Lodge. Charles just got a bunch of houses from his mother and William has one hand on Windsor Castle. Harry and Meghan will get kicked out of Frogmore Cottage tho.

    • MsIam says:

If the Sussexes do get kicked out they should demand a refund of their paying for those repairs. But wasn’t Charles supposed to offer them Clarence House? I could see them taking that just to get away from the Wails of Windsor.

      • Amy Bee says:

@Msiam: CH for Harry was only speculation and I don’t think he would want to live in London anyway. Plus if that was the plan it’s gone out of the window now that Harry has moved to the US. According to the Sunday Times, Charles plans to to remain at CH for the next 5 years until the refurbishment of BP is completed. I don’t think people understand that Harry is outside of the family now and will be treated as such so don’t expect him to get houses etc from the Royal Family. The funeral showed us this.

Will Andrew & Sarah get kicked out of Royal Lodge?

    HELLS YEA😡🤣☹️

  5. Aud says:

Andrew has nothing to lose if he’s kicked out and he will undoubtedly give interviews for cash. He’s dangerous to Charles so I think he stays in exchange for silence. Andrew knows too much.

    • Chaine says:

ITA. He knows waaaay too much to be set loose to his own devices. Charles will keep housing and supporting him, and Wills will if Andrew is still around after Charles is gone.

    • sparrow says:

Aud. This is such a good take. I can see Charles giving just enough to keep Andrew quiet. Housing is something kind of below the radar.

    • Becks1 says:

I agree. the only way he’ll leave Royal Lodge is if he gets paid well to leave, and even then I think he would spill all he knows. I think he’s saying AND I think Charles is probably paying him to keep quiet at the same time. Charles knows if Andrew leaves RL he won’t go quietly, even with a nice payout.

    • Eleonor says:

      This.
“Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer”.
That’s sort of a golden cage King Petty is going to give him.

  6. Solidgold says:

Andrew has too much kompromat on Charles.

I read an article on Louis Mountbatten, Charles’ favorite uncle and mentor, and now I understand why that family and media establishment will do anything to protect Andrew. Both brothers are deep in sleazy shenanigans and associates. It is gross.

    • Kay Hendricks says:

Do you have a link or the name of the publication? Thanks.

      • Queenmumanne says:

If you aren’t going to take a spare pair of hosiery with you, then wear thicker tights. They don’t run. At least mine never have. But I’m making an assumption that it’s chilly in the uk and it would be appropriate to wear tights. Who knows? It may be 100 degrees for all I know right now!

  7. Well Wisher says:

The public information on the lease shows that it is binding.
But with the death of the Queen, who knows what the future holds?
Has Andrew legally made the contract invalid, except that around the time of Prince Philip’s death his daughters publicly supported the Sussexes?

But why should that be a problem? and to whom is it a problem?

Therein lies the future of Andrew’s living arrangements.

    • vertes says:

I thought only Eugenie showed support for the Sussexes? Don’t remember any help from Bea. She sticks close to the Cambridge team because she really wants to be a “working royal,” or at least in line for whatever perks she can get.

      • Well Wisher says:

I recall there was a joint statement, that’s the only reason I remember because they both have separate media accounts.
Afterwards I noticed needling comments towards them in terms of them not being allowed to live in or on Crown Estates and being seated at a lower level i.e. The Queen’s Jubilee at the church service & the concert, tthe BBC being told specifically to keep them off camera during their grandmother’s funeral services.

  8. Tessa says:

She had or still has large debts. I think she lives their for convenience

    • Tessa says:

      There not their

    • vertes says:

There used to be speculation that she & Handsy Andy would remarry when Philip died, because he was the one who so detested her, for bringing “shame” to the family decades ago. Whoops! Phil hadn’t seen anything yet!

  9. Lizzie Bathory says:

Based on the terms of the lease, I don’t think Charles can kick Andrew out. But more importantly, why would he want to? Andrew has security on the estate rather than shelling out to pay for separate security for a disgraced royal who can’t represent the Crown.

Best to let him shuffle around the Lodge & ride on the grounds at no extra expense to the taxpayer.

  10. Malificent says:

I always lay on the grass in a velvet jacket to casually frolic with my corgis too.

  11. Prairiegirl says:

Is … that a run in her stocking?

    • sparrow says:

I went back up to take a look. Yes, it looks like she’s laddered her tights. Get the nail varnish out Sarah and stop them laddering even more…or just take another pair with you.

  12. Otterton says:

The real question is: Where the hell is her other leg in that header photo??? 😧🤣 I think I see a shoe behind her so maybe she has it crossed behind her but where it should be in the photo you can see the backdrop clearly, so either someone went crazy with Photoshop or she’s got an invisible leg.

  13. Ann says:

Camilla looks her age. Sarah looks Camilla’s age too.

  14. Allegra says:

I’ve always wondered why her teeth are… beige.

  15. QuiteContrary says:

I take extra stockings with me when I go out, and I’m not followed by photographers. Kaiser is right: That is peak Fergie. She’s just a mess.

  16. Marcy says:

About 20 (30?) years ago, I really got into the royal family. Read everything I could get my hands on, from about the Tudors on. Of course when Sarah’s book came out I bought it immediately. O was so grossed out and put off by her. She is not at all sympathetic even in her own book. I made it through the whole thing but all the while thinking my god, what a poor, pitiful me whiner!

That’s all, that’s all I have to say on this topic. lol

    • J. Ferber says:

What was Fergie’s relationship like with Princess Diana? I thought there was camaraderie?

      • Marcy says:

There was in the beginning but according to Fergie’s book, Diana got mad at Fergie for publicly saying she got plantar’s warts from borrowing Diana’s shoes. Poor, pitiful Fergie was made to borrow Diana’s clothes when she first started dating Andrew because she was just a pauper and didn’t have anything suitable for the various lunches, dinners, etc. And poor her for publicly talking about the plantar’s warts, Diana was so “mean” to her over it.

      • Jaded says:

There was in the beginning — and it was Diana who sort of pushed Andrew and Fergie together. Then she wrote a book and mentioned the plantar’s warts she insisted came from borrowing Diana’s shoes. I very much doubt they have the same shoe size, Diana’s was a size 9 and I believe Fergie’s was a 7 1/2. As for borrowing Diana’s clothing, well Diana was far more slender than Fergie so massive alterations would have had to be done. I think this is another case of Fergie making sh*t up.

  17. jferber says:

What a dumb, dumb (and nasty) thing for Fergie to do. Yikes.

  18. Eowyn says:

Her tights are laddered. The woman is a total mess. Time for a more subtle dye job too.
