Mike Tindall was voted off ‘I’m a Celebrity’ before the final, how tacky

Mike Tindall was voted off the British reality show, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! He’d been on the show for about a month, despite the fact that he groped and assaulted a young production assistant in Australia. As in, he wasn’t kicked out for his loutish and predatory bloke behavior. He was kicked off the show because he was just boring and gross in general, it seems. He didn’t make it to the final three contestants, who are Jill Scott, Owen Warner and Matt Hancock. Tindall absolutely spent a lot of time on the show talking about the royals and what life is like in Buckingham Palace and generally trading in his royal-adjacency. Not a peep from the royal rota, how interesting. Anyway, Tindall has been reunited with Zara, and he seems fine, I guess.

Mike Tindall is enjoying his reunion with his wife Zara Tindall. The former Team England rugby star, 44, was eliminated from the competition show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Saturday and was finally reunited with his wife, 41, (niece to King Charles III) after spending weeks apart. Tindall shared a sweet snap of him and Zara, touching their heads together and smiling at each other at a hotel cafe after his elimination.

The intimate post echoes the emotional reunion he and his wife shared on the U.K. survival show’s reunion bridge. Tindall and Zara immediately embraced each other in a big hug after meeting halfway, and he could be heard telling her “I’ve missed you so much.”

After his elimination, Tindall told the hosts that he had a great time on the show and was satisfied with how far he made it, per The Mirror.

“I’m good,” he said. “It’s been a long time. I can feel my body was getting ready to go. I’m pretty comfortable with it.”

“It’s been a lot of laughs,” he added. “That is the best thing. You can get through anything when the humor is good.”

[From People]

Yeah, whatever. I think this was all pretty tacky. I’m a snob about these kinds of shows anyway, and I can’t believe that Tindall simply didn’t have better options? Why was he so willing to be so trashy and low-budget for such a relatively small amount of money, on what is a very lowbrow show? I guess he didn’t have better options. It’s not like he could get a nine-figure Netflix contract, I suppose. And it’s hilarious that after all of that, he didn’t even make it to the final. *sad clown noise*

    Gross.

    Just obnoxious

  3. Thelma says:

I just think the whole thing is tacky…let alone for a Royal or Royal adjacent.

That pic in the Café… HAHAHAHA. None of them are posh. Or have class. They truly just are, at best, the OG Trumps. Lol.

I can’t believe he posted three different photos of his food (and they’re not even interesting! It’s like, an English Muffin with some butter). How basic of him. Embarrassing

He hardly said anything about the RF and what he did say was dull (not sure of the editing though). I think he’s probably a bit of a bully, some of things I saw were a bit questionable and he took his role as camp BLOKE, picking up spiders etc and generally not being scared of anything.
The right winner was crowned though and I really enjoyed this series – blessed relief from the football.

Was this an attempt to compliment Zara’s profile in Vogue Australia this month? Some kind of “keep us relevant” campaign in that market, since she/they have a lot of sponsorship deals there?

Because a horsey profile of their gorgeous country estate-THAT’S what I’d expect from royal and royal-adjacent people.

Can you imagine what would be said if Harry and Meghan did something like this? That’s actually the problem. The supposed “bad royals” have behaved impeccably, like royals should. The good (white) royals go on tacky game shows, take bags full of cash as bribes, sell influence, cavort with pedophiles and sexually abuse underaged girls.

The silence of the ratchets is loud and clear. Molest production assistants and eat kangaroo ass and you’re golden, so long as you’re white.

      Excellent take.
(Also, memo to self: Don’t ever get on lanne’s bad side.)

1000 upvotes Lanne. My thoughts exactly.

@Lanne, “Molest production assistants and eat kangaroo ass and you’re golden, so long as you’re white.”
is one of the best sentences ever to be typed on this website.

Did you know the most racist of people are those who just have to put things down to colour of your skin. You make me racist or is that cos I is creamy skin with brown dots on it.

  8. Amy Bee says:

There were no complaints about Tindall being on the show from the Royal rota because they were hoping he would provide information about the family most specifically Harry and Meghan.

  9. Jaded says:

These two are like the Ellie May and Jethro of the royal family.

Could anyone fill me in as to why all the “official” tweets as coming from Mike Tindall 12&13? Please & thanks.

    • Barbara says:

The 12 account is Instagram, the 13 is Twitter. I imagine he had to add the numbers because there was an existing “Mike Tindall” account held by someone else.

  11. jferber says:

Zara is looking directly into Mike’s face, and his eyes are downcast, avoiding hers. I bet he did far more than sexually molesting a woman there. He may have had (consensual?) sex down under, too. And she doesn’t give a shit!

  12. DeluxeDuckling says:

The rota have been ignoring his presence SO MUCH. It’s pointed.
In general it seems like British press was way more focused on Matt Hancock – I can’t imagine his constituents are pleased

  13. Annalise says:

I personally am still incredibly amused that Tindall wasn’t even CLOSE to being the highest paid person on the show this season. (I saw $900k, 400k, 250k paychecks for some of the other contestants!! ) I think he might even have been one of the lowest paid!!
The fact that he didn’t make the final three, and was paid a LOT less than the other contestants, just tells me that he is not nearly as well-liked OR as relevant as he probably imagines himself. He probably mainly got on the show because he told producers he’d talk a whole bunch of shit about Harry & Meghan (which I think he privately discussed with William beforehand. “Look mate, I need the money, you need Harry to lose a little bit o’ that shine he’s got….” Tindall is thinking ahead! He knows William will control the purse strings one day! That’s probably why he was paid so little. Producers probably didn’t want him until he promised to spill a bunch of H&M tea…… Needless to say, Will probably thought it was a WONDERFUL idea!!) Only for Tindall to be a dumbass and grope that poor girl, prompting Charles to send Tindall a not-so-veiled message in the media (and possibly stern orders privately to keep his hands to himself and STFU) , Will & Kate to make a REALLY weird statement about being “sad” about the groping (because they were ACTUALLY upset that Tindall wouldn’t be able to use IACGMOH to smear Harry & Meghan to whole new audience!) and poor Tindall found himself having to disappoint the producers…….

Wonder if the production assistant thought it was “ a lot of laughs”
