Kim Kardashian declined to do a 2023 Balenciaga campaign, she’ll wear other labels

The thing about Kim Kardashian’s Balenciaga contract is that she never needed the money. Kim was never even a Balenciaga-exclusive brand ambassador or anything, she just decided to appear in some Balenciaga ad campaigns and wear a lot Balenciaga, likely because of her close friendship with chief designer Demna Gvasalia. Well, it’s all blown up in her face over the past week. Balenciaga organized a disgusting ad campaign featuring children holding teddy bears in bondage gear, bears with bruised eyes. Earlier this week, Kim posted her statement about the Balenciaga ads, expressing disgust and outrage, and describing how she’s had conversations with Balenciaga higher-ups. Now TMZ reports that before this controversy blew up, Kim had been approached to do another campaign. She’s now declined.

Kim Kardashian announced she’s ‘re-evaluating’ her future with Balenciaga, but it appears she’s made up her mind … declining an offer from the brand, and ditching outfits she was set to wear at upcoming events.

Sources with direct knowledge of the situation tell us the design house presented Kim an offer to do a 2023 Balenciaga campaign before the controversial child BDSM ads went live. We’re told once those ads went public, Kim made the decision to reject the offer … even before releasing a statement on the issue.

Not only that … our sources say Kim had plans to wear Balenciaga outfits at events she’s attending in coming months, but she’s pulled the plug and contacted other designers for new options.

Kim took a lot of heat for not immediately denouncing Balenciaga’s campaign or announcing she was leaving the brand — but our sources say she’s not even locked into a contract with Balenciaga right now, and isn’t directly making money from the company.

Clearly, Balenciaga got Kim’s message and announced Monday … “We want to ensure that new controls mark a pivot and will prevent this from happening again. We are laying the groundwork with organizations who specialize in child protection and aims at ending child abuse and exploitation.”

Our sources say Kim does not have any plans to work with the brand in the future.

Yeah, I’m not surprised that she’s finding a way to move away from her relationship with the label. I am surprised that she is not currently under contract with them though – what was her statement about earlier this week then? If she has no contractual or financial ties to the label currently, just say that! Anyway, while I know this isn’t the most important thing at all, I’m interested to see how Kim “replaces” the Balenciaga-shaped hole in her heart. She’s been wearing those stupid Balenciaga catsuits for years now. It’s past time for her to get a new signature look. I hope she doesn’t go with Chanel or Dior. I could see her trying to go all-in with Valentino though.

Yawn. She found a way out and took it. I hate her fashion so much. She looks foolish ALL. THE. TIME. And not just because she’s shaped like a tooth.

The blue is a good color for her. Thats all I’ve got.

Did you all see what Ye had North wear the other day?

    • ME says:

He picked North up from school. She was already wearing the shirt. She left Kim’s house wearing it, so are you going to go after Kim too? Kim is problematic too…not just racist a$$ Kanye (he is the bigger a$$hole of course but still). I mean did you see the “adult” mask North was wearing during fashion week (she was with Kim). Who on earth thought that was a good idea ???

So if Kim has no contract with Balenciaga, why was she questioning her relationship with them in the first place? Something is not making sense her. Remember we are dealing with a family of liars. I read a story where Kim has lost so many followers in the past week, and just yesterday all these fake accounts appeared to be following her (she bought those fake followers). She’s so desperate to cling to her fame. I feel sorry for those poor kids, not one decent parent to turn to.

      No, what did it say?

I am glad that this is the decision that was made, I feel no doubt it is the right one and I’m not going to overanalyze or poke too much.

On a shallow note, death to the bodysuits. I’d love to see Kim work with a smaller designer even though I know she really loves being dressed by big fashion houses.

Why the F is this family still a thing?

Well first of all there are too many of them. Secondly, I personally think they pay gossip sites and blogs to only write nice things about them (especially Kim). They pay for fake followers on social media and they lie about their net worth. They use drama as a way to stay in the news. They use anyone and everyone they can that will help keep them in the news. They have no morals and are only about fame and fortune. It’s easy to stay around when you will do ANYTHING to keep us talking lol.
