I’m here to report that I just started watching The Last of Us, and it’s really good but it’s also just a great opportunity to stare at him for a long time. Imagine casting him as a lead and the putting a helmet on for almost the whole time. Rude!

20 years of Jimmy Kimmel??? I’ve watched probably less than ten minutes of that show (watched the Bill Hader interview, that’s it). I was grossed out by him on The Man Show, and I’m still right about that.

    Pedro.

    Yes.

    Just. Yes.

My birthday’s not until Sunday but thank you for this early present of a Pedro post (I’ll forgive you…this time…for not making it it’s own post). Yum!

I have a great idea! Let’s create a show starring Pedro Pascal where he’s the title character and appears in nearly every scene but . . . wait for it . . . in a mask! We never ever see his face. How funny would that be?

Am I the only one who is wondering about that dinner with Taylor, Lena, Cameron, Sasha and Stella? Seems a weird group.

One can only hope that they are talking about pay inequality & strategizing on girl power. I want to see male-only movies & tv shows until women actors are paid equally.
      (Happy Friday!)

    • Case says:

Taylor is writing/directing her first film, so it probably is related to that!

    I believe it’s pronounced “Zaddy”

    Hi Daddy!!

United States, are we going to let George Santos gaslight us? Does he get to deflect, lie, and deny and keep his job? Is this the best of us? I feel powerless but hope he won’t keep the job.

And I know it’s basic to be like “they’re getting together!” after one dinner, but if Taylor Swift, Lena Dunham & Cameron Diaz work together I am optimistic. They’re all super talented (and pretty sure they’re all writers?)… With their powers combined, an entertaining icon is surely to come. Dunham’s boldness, Taylor’s popularity, Cameron’s insight — I know some truly dislike Lena but I like to have a short brunette out there, not looking “pretty”, writing well and not getting left out.

    • Coco says:

It’s always a big tell on the characters of a person when they like someone like Lena Dunham who is a racist, narcissist and a pick me ( A person who lied to protect rapist ).

      • Lady D says:

Don’t forget molesting her 7yo sister and then putting that fact in a book.

      • mauve says:

Okay, there is also ignorance. I was thinking of her show GIRLS which was impressive, but didn’t realize she had ties to a rapist or that she is racist.

  10. J says:

    Eek no thank you

  11. Emily_C says:

Yeah, no. I don’t find him attractive at all. I mean, I haven’t seen the show, and am going off pictures, but — no.

    • NormaLeft says:

I don’t think he’s objectively handsome (or even subjectively handsome to me), but he’s the internet’s daddy for a reason.

He’s got charisma and magnetism, and he seems to have a good sense of humor. Yes to all of that!

  12. Lee says:

From the Brad Pitt article though:

“ Back then, he paid $1.7 million for the nearly two-acre property, so this is a huge windfall for him, which is, coincidentally, the exact amount he paid for his new digs in Carmel last summer. What’s it called when you take money from one account to pay another account that’s coming up short? Pretty sure there’s a name for that.”

There is. It’s called a 1031 exchange. It was a very smart and calculated financial move, that I’m sure sure he was advised to do.
