One of the really nice things about this year’s awards season was everyone remembering that Colin Farrell is actually a cool guy who got clean and sober and has been doing consistently interesting work for many years. Hollywood was like “oh yeah, we forgot, Colin Farrell is talented and awesome.” While I wasn’t a fan of Banshees of Inisherin, I think Farrell’s performance will probably stand the test of time better than Brendan Fraser’s ultimately Oscar-winning performance in The Whale. In any case, Colin is back, bitches. After years of having a much quieter personal life, there’s now more interest in what he’s up to and who he’s seeing. Interestingly enough, Colin was in a relationship for five years?? And the relationship just ended. From The Sun:

He is a regular on the “Sexiest Men Alive” lists and has long been lusted after by women and men alike. Sadly I am not referring to myself, but Colin Farrell, who admirers will be pleased to know is back on the market. I’ve been told the Irish actor has ended his five-year relationship with girlfriend Kelly MacNamara after his hectic work schedules pushed them apart.

A source said: “Colin is the man of the moment in film thanks to his role in The Banshees Of Inisherin. He spent months working on that along with the last Batman blockbuster, where he played Penguin. Colin’s schedule took its toll on his relationship with Kelly and they quietly called it quits. There is no bad feeling between them but upholding a romantic relationship when your work schedule is so demanding became difficult to juggle.”

Colin had been dating Kelly, who works as a PA for U2 guitarist The Edge, since 2017 but the pair have not been seen together for some time. He previously explained the difficulties of dating Kelly, saying: “My girlfriend, she travels a lot as well with work so often times we’re two ships passing in the night. But we make sure to find a port that we can, you know, rendezvous at.”

I’ll admit, I haven’t paid attention to Colin’s love life in years, so I have no idea if he was actually dating this woman or when they broke up or anything. If it was happening for that long, good for them for keeping it quiet and private. More good news: Colin Farrell is single, ladies. Who would you love to see him with? Who’s single these days? Y’all know Olivia Wilde will try. LOL, Reese Witherspoon??? If Angelina wants to make her billionaire Rothschild guy jealous, she should ask Colin to dinner. I swear, Colin and Angelina had a brief fling two decades ago and they should absolutely try it again now that they’re both more mature.
